Review — Resident Evil Degeneration [DVD]
by Jesse [ Monday, 5th of January 2009 - 04:14 AM ]
At least Resident Evil Degeneration is better than the live-action Resident Evil movies Of the dozen or so problems that just about every Resident Evil fan has with the live-action movie trilogy, the number one thing has to be the lack of any real connection between the movies and the games other than the title. Thankfully Degeneration changes that by presenting an original story that is built right off of the core of the Resident Evil series and forms a bridge with the upcoming Resident Evil 5. Seven years after the viral outbreak that resulted in the destruction of Raccoon City, survivor Claire Redfield now working for a company called Terra-Save arrives at an airport in Harvardville. [Xbox 360 Review] Tomb Raider: Underworld
by Michael Camacho [ Saturday, 3rd of January 2009 - 08:43 AM ]
Lara Croft returns in Tomb Raider: Underworld, her final adventure before a huge revamping of the series. So is this a brilliant way to send Lara off before reconstruction of the series or an example of why the series needs change? I am pleased to say that this is the best Tomb Raider title to date. Crystal Dynamics uses Underworld to continue and bring a conclusion to Lara's adventure she began in 2006's Legend. Underworld begins with you controlling Lara in Croft Manor as the manor is ablaze. Top 20 LittleBigPlanet Level Kit Predictions for 2009 It's the end of the year and it is time for all those absurd Top [Insert BS Here] lists to start hitting the interwebs. In any instance, I came across one that was totally awesome. Read More…

[PS3 Review] Rise Of The Argonauts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of December 2008 - 09:02 PM ]
A Tale Of Greek Tragedy? The Good: One thing that I really loved about this game was the story telling of the game. First that it was very Greek and somewhat very close to something one would read in their Ancient Histories class. Second, the fact that you could choose your own adventure as you go a long, with choices based on one of the four patron gods of the game. And these choices are more than what other games allow for. Like if you chose to be a dick or a good follower of Ares, it gave a totally different outcome. Read More…

Banjo Kazooie N&B Text Patch is Here
by Sam [ Sunday, 21st of December 2008 - 06:46 PM ]
For all those who played Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts and had a hard time reading all the small text, you'll be pleased to know that the patch to enlarge the text is out now. This had caused problems because there was no voice acting in the game, like the other 2 Banjo Kazooie games, and certain underpowered rigs made it hard to read the dialog which contains clues and instructions throughout the game. Rare wasn't going to fix it but somebody got it out a month and a half later. Read More…
