Virtua Fighter Puts Up A Fight With Some New Gameplay Concepts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Virtua Fighter The new Virtua Fighter project had a bit of some concept footage out there to show off how the new Virtua Fighter could play The gameplay teases keep on rolling out for the upcoming Virtua Fighter title and the latest comes right out of CES 2025. It was something that SEGA was helping to show off the power of some of the new NVIDIA hardware but gives us a solid concept of how they are going to move forward with the new game. Something that looks and feels vastly different than what we have seen in the past for Virtua Fighter, as long as they stick to it and keep the characters looking and feeling about the same. That will be the trick, but for now, we can see just how they want to push forward with the IP and bring it all into the latest generation without being another remake or remaster of something from the past. The House Of The Dead 2: Remake Is On The Way To Give Us More Rail-Shooter Fun
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
House Of The Dead Another bit of House Of The Dead fun is on the way back to us all with the announcement for The House Of The Dead 2: Remake It looks like we all loved the first remake that was out there that now we have The House Of The Dead 2: Remake on the way to us all now. I mean, Megapixel Studio and Forever Entertainment did an amazing job bringing us the previous remake to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC that it would make sense for them to bring the next one back to us all. Even if we do need to wait until the Spring of this year to see how The House Of The Dead saga continues in our homes. Those of us who were able to play the originals in arcades might know how it all goes, but that was half a century ago, so it would be understandable if we all forgot some of that along the way. Hyperkin Competitor Got A Bit Of An Update Out At CES 2025
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of January 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Hyperkin Hyperkin has a new controller on the way with a look at the updated Hyperkin Competitor controller While gaming is not usually a huge focus out at CES, this year Hyperkin came on out there to show off the new Hyperkin Competitor as it is licensed by Xbox. Normally, it is not a huge thing and one would expect it to just be something that has the branding of the company on another company's product. That is only slightly the case with this one as the Hyperkin Competitor is taking the form of another competitor's product to give many gamers a layout and experience that was only able through third-party and other backdoor ways out there. The biggest bit being that it is an Xbox Series X|S style controller but without the split stick design. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of January 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Carmen Sandiego The release dates for Carmen Sandiego are now set down for us so we can head back into the hunt for Carmen Sandiego again It was announced not too long ago that we would be seeing another Carmen Sandiego title back in the mix of things on the PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch, PC, and various mobile devices via Netflix Games. There was a bit of a mixed reception at the time, but that did not stop Gameloft and HarperCollins Productions from pushing forward and building the game out further for us all to get excited about. It is a return to form with the thief in the world and I, for one, was excited to see how it will be us playing as Carmen Sandiego in the game and not specifically hunting her down again. Onimusha: Way Of The Sword Is On The Way After So Much Waiting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of December 2024 - 10:00 PM ]
Onimusha A new Onimusha title is on the way after a very long wait with the announcement for Onimusha: Way Of The Sword It only took a bit of time, but it seems like Capcom is ready to bring back yet another title from the past and not in a remaster or remake style with the announcement for Onimusha: Way Of The Sword. It seems to be all the rage for them and I am sure that fans of the action series will be glad to finally have a fully new entry into the IP. That and to head back into feudal Japan with the fantasy that it all can bring us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...
