Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows Is Giving Us More To The Story While Bending Reality
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
New story bits for Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows are here to help us see what will be going on and why we will be working in tandem in the game If you are now in the market for a creepy and twisted looking world with a bit of a story, then you might want to keep an eye over here for Tandem: A Tale Of Shadows. This would be a title coming out of Monochrome Paris, a studio, that will be taking us on that kind of adventure this year on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. A fun little puzzle game that looks to have worked in quite a bit of inspiration from a specific director that is known for this style of art when it comes to his films. Read More…

Life Is Strange: True Colors Is Opening Up With Alex
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
The opening scene for Life Is Strange: True Colors’ Alex is here to watch as we get a little deeper into this character for the Life Is Strange universe There are still a whole lot of unknowns for Life Is Strange: True Colors since it was first revealed that we were going to be getting this sequel to the line that Deck Nine Games is going down. The IP has always been an amazing journey for the story and bits of gameplay when they weave in the supernatural elements too. Not to mention the fact that Life Is Strange has always been one of the fancier and artsier titles in the Square Enix tool belt for us all. Read More…

Marvel At The World That Will Be Out There In Biomutant
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Biomutant gives us a glorious look at the world we will be fighting our way through in Biomutant soon We have seen some combat for Biomutant and not it is time to take a look at the massive world that we are going to be seeing in the mix here. This is all something we knew was going to be a bit of a marvel to have here and now that is where we get to highlight it all. Not that Experiment 101 has held that back all that much, but this is where we are focusing our eyes for Biomutant today. All to take in the destroyed world after whatever has gone on and created all of the creatures we will control and/or be fighting to get the full story. Read More…

Rose Will Be Back In The Mix For The Street Fighter V: Champion Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Another character for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is coming with Rose getting the showing and add to the Street Fighter V character pass Rose is coming back into the fight for the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition and we now get to see her back in said action. It is just another in the long list of characters that Capcom is bringing us in the title here with the character pass while we still wait for the final one to be shown off. Given that we are getting mostly characters from the Street Fighter titles in the past, I have a feeling that will be what some of us are waiting for, but for now, we will take a look at Rose and how things have been altered from what we might remember. That or we can just focus on the fact that we have one more DLC character to experience the fight with and just take it all at face value and move right along. Read More…

Resident Evil 4 Is Getting Redone But In A New VR Setting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
The Resident Evil 4 rumors were only partially true with the reveal that Resident Evil 4 VR is going to be a thing out there soon While we are still waiting for the release of the bigger title out there, we have been keeping an eye on the rumors for Resident Evil 4 too. Some of it seems like it stemmed from the way Capcom is using it to inspire Village but also some of it from little things spotted out in the wilds. We tried to brush it off as it all sounded like it was fan hopes and dreams for a new version of Resident Evil 4 or a remaster that has been all of the rage and well-received too. Now we are glad to say that we will be seeing the game redone but in a VR space of it all for the Oculus Quest as of right now. Read More…

Luigi Is Now Starting Up His Course In LEGO Super Mario
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
The next character for LEGO Super Mario is coming with LEGO Luigi finally announced and coming to us all this August It has been a bit since LEGO Super Mario dropped on us all out there to enjoy and we have seen quite a few deviations and extras dropped out there for the sets. It was something that many needed out there in the middle of the pandemics here, but there was one issue that we only had Mario to play with and all of the courses. It is called LEGO Super Mario Adventures so that makes a bit of sense, but some of us would like something other than the costumes that Mario has to wear in the mix. That is why it is great to see that we are finally getting Luigi in the mix of it all and not too far off. Read More…

So Many More Things Have Dropped Out There For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Fresh after the Resident Evil Showcase, we have new gameplay and modes announced for Resident Evil Village when it launches for us all It has been a little bit of time since the most recent Resident Evil Showcase we had last week, but we needed a bit to be able to take in everything that seemed to have dropped out of all of that. There was quite a bit and still much more that Capcom has under wraps until the May 7th release date but that does not mean we do not have a whole lot more to dive into. We just received a whole lot of new gameplay and story elements for Resident Evil Village and the various little spin-offs from that and we have word of a classic mode making its way back into it all. A New Release Window Is Set For The Forgotten City
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
The Forgotten City is now set to release this summer and it looks like The Forgotten City will also be hitting some new platforms too It feels like that time loop in The Forgotten City is going on in the real world at this point, with the game now getting a Summer release out there for us all. Those keeping a close eye on what Modern Storyteller was setting up would know that the original plan was to drop the game in the Winter of 2020. That has well come and gone with no one out there having the chance and time to play The Forgotten City now. Read More…

Days Gone Is Riding In On The PC With Some Solid Features
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
A look at the PC version of Days Gone is here with Days Gone getting all of the usual upgrades for a game when it hits PC On May 18th, we will be seeing Days Gone ride its way right out there for the PC gaming community so they can join in the story that the PS4 gamers have enjoyed for a while now. Even if the game did not make as big of a splash that some thought it would, Bend Studio still gave us all an amazing title that I would love to see get expanded upon in the future. That is seeming less likely in general, but maybe with the launch of Days Gone on the new platform and for a new audience, we could luck out. Read More…

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection Is Heading Out To A Few More Platforms
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
New platforms have been announced for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection to bring this remaster of Ghosts ‘n Goblins to more gamers out there There have been a good chunk of Ghosts ‘n Goblins fans out there enjoying the release of the Resurrection over on the Switch. It is out there and causing all of those players the same level of stress that we had from years ago and maybe breaking some Joycons too. All of which shows that Capcom did a great job bringing the game there and should be bringing it to everyone else too. That is where we go with the announcement that Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is now set up to launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here in the near future. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 4/12/21 — 4/15/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is not fully over for most of the community out there, but we have to call it a short week here. It was a slow week, for the most part, and we had a few video games get the highlight but it did feel like slim pickings up until today with the Resident Evil showcase here. There was a bit more for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Returnal, but there have been more rumors and speculations out there more than anything. Granted, we are calling it early and we could see many video games drop out there late today and tomorrow, but I have a feeling it is going to be quiet for the rest of the week. Read More…

Get Ready To Watch The Showcase Coming For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
The Resident Evil showcase is about to air and you can join us in watching to see what new footage we will have for Resident Evil Village The time is almost here for the Resident Evil showcase that we had teased last week and a few little bits from Capcom already, but in a short time from this posting we will have it all. All to help build some hype before May 7th and the release of Resident Evil Village but it sounds like there could be a few other things in the mix too. My guess is that there will be some things for the coming shows and film in addition to the hype of the upcoming bigger title. Read More…

The House Of The Dead: Remake Is Coming To Horde Our Switches
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
The House Of The Dead: Remake is coming for the Switch and we have a little bit to show how its upgraded from the original House Of The Dead Here we go with another interesting twist of an announcement as The House Of The Dead: Remake is going to be a thing and it will be something that will be hitting the Switch when it does come out there. It seems a little odd to focus the effort on that platform for a title that can easily hit many different ones and maybe even a VR setting, but it is what we have from Megapixel Studio on this remake so far. I have a feeling with how House Of The Dead was before that Forever Entertainment might be looking to branch out, but this is the announcement we have for now out of the big showcase that Nintendo had recently.
