This Week In Video Games 7/19/21 — 7/23/21

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is a wrap on another fun week with all kinds of video games out there. Some had some big news and others just slight updates for us all once more. It was also nice to see smaller titles like Faraday Protocol and Fracked get some fun additions in there and were able to hang with other video games like Dead Space and Deathloop that had some solid highlights. Saint Kotar Is Showing Up For Us All This Coming October

The PC release window for Saint Kotar is set with a new look at how Saint Kotar is going to look and feel One more horror title is coming to the PC this October with the announcement that Saint Kotar will be joining the list of horror during the month there. The best time of year to drop a game like this and Red Martyr and SOEDESCO will be doing what they can to do this. It does not bring it over to all of the other platforms that we have had announced for the game so far, but that does not change the fact. We Can Now Try To Survive A Way To Be Dead In Early Access

A Way To Be Dead is out there now as an Early Access with A Way To Be Dead dropping us into the end of times It is time to head out and try to survive another zombie title with A Way To Be Dead hitting us on the PC with an Early Access right now. This would be the latest title from Crania Games to hit us and will bring a new 4v1 asymmetrical title where we will be victims of some horrible experiments and need to survive killers and zombies out there. With A Way To Be Dead allowing us to be the zombies in the game too so we can hunt down and kill all of our friends in the game or take on any of the other randoms that could be in the multiplayer mix of it all. Lost In Random Drops The Die On Some Fun New Gameplay

Lost In Random is here to give us a bit of randomness with some gameplay to excite us for Lost In Random Gameplay is out there a bit more for Lost In Random out of the latest EA Play Live event to get us all further into the randomness of this title here. That is something that Zoink is going to lean into for the game with the Even, Odd, and Dicey characters we are seeing here to help us make it through the realms of Random. There is definitely a theme here for Lost In Random and we will get to see more of it all on September 10th on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, and PC. A new story trailer for Ghost Of Tsushima is out here to help get us into the fun coming for Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut It is time to take in a bit more story for Ghost Of Tsushima with what is coming for the Director’s Cut of it all. This time to head toward the Iki Island we are going to get to explore as Sucker Punch expands the whole thing out just a bit more with some actual story instead of just cosmetics of it all. Just in case you cannot wait to get into the Ghost Of Tsushima: Director’s Cut when it hits the PS4 and PS5 on August 20th here. A remake for Dead Space was announced recently and it aims to bring the terror of Dead Space to a new generation of gamers The rumors and speculation are true, we are getting another chance to head into the Dead Space universe with a new version of the game coming right for us. Not only that, but the rumors that it was Motive Studios working on this title were also true. That parts that were a little iffy were if it was a sequel or a spin-off of some sorts and now we have the full answer. We are getting a remake of Dead Space for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC now. Chernobylite Will Be Burning Onto The Consoles In September

The console release date for Chernobylite is now set down for September with a new look at how Chernobylite was scanned The split release for Chernobylite is almost upon us with it fully hitting the PC on July 28th here with little knowledge on when it was going to hit the PS4 and Xbox One. Let alone when we will see the full next-gen version of the game on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but The Farm 51 is still working on all of that. What they seem to be wrapping up for Chernobylite shortly after the release next week is that we will have it on the older consoles on September 7th now. Read More…

Not that there has ever been a worry of the lack of availability since games started going more digital with it all. I have faith that Turtle Rock will do what they can to get it to look the same on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but this is going to be one of those for the specific gamers out there. All as a new free-to-play style of game from Ubisoft set in the Tom Clancy space of everything. Get Ready For Anything In The Story For Psychonauts 2

We will see where the Psychonauts story begins and ends with the latest story trailer for Psychonauts 2 to port into our brains It is time for a little more story for Psychonauts 2, as if we have not had enough already leading up to August 25th already. I am sure there is a lot more that Double Fine is going to mix in based on what they have done for this IP already, but we are back once more with a bit more story to take in. You have to love that when it could also just be fun to get some solid gameplay mechanics and other tidbits for Psychonauts 2 instead.
