We have a new look at Kotal Kahn for Mortal Kombat 11 with Jacqui in tow with some new details on the Mortal Kombat 11 closed beta The announcement that Kotal Kohn was coming to Mortal Kombat 11 given that he showed up in the story trailer and other views in the past. That is not the news here, though, as we have new gameplay from the game and NetherRealm Studios has shown him in action fighting Jacqui Briggs in the latest trailer for the game. Even though it is listed as his reveal trailer, it truly highlights the other character and level in Mortal Kombat 11 more than Kotal. Not that this is an issue at all. Read More…

Take A Stroll Around The Medical Level Of The System Shock Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
New footage for the remake of System Shock is here to show off the medical level and just what to expect from the System Shock title What an interesting time we are living in where we get not only an update for System Shock’s Remake, but also an update for the third title in the series in just under twenty-four hours. I find it interesting and am certainly glad to see that Nightdive Studios is still working hard on this version of the game for us all. More so given the fact that many other remakes have been done so well to bring the original vision to life in the modern era than was possible when the original System Shock was released. Glimpse Some New Cinematics For Oddworld: Soulstorm
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A new cinematic rendering breakdown for Oddworld: Soulstorm is here to show off how things will be made in this Oddworld title Here we go with another title getting shown off a bit more during GDC's Keynotes this year with Oddworld: Soulstorm getting a bit of the limelight. This time we are not seeing much in the way of gameplay for the game, but we are getting a good look at one of the cinematic sequences that Oddworld Inhabitants has put together. If this will show up in the final version of Soulstorm is still up in the air, but it does show off the way things will be presented when it comes to the scenes. Given how the other titles went in the past, I would not be surprised if this was all from the game and not fully pre-rendered though. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of March 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Work is still underway for System Shock 3 and we have a nice new tease to take in for System Shock 3 right from the Game Developers Conference It has been a rocky start and continuation for System Shock 3, but that has not stopped Otherside Entertainment from working on a game they obviously love and want to get out to the public. That how all developers should be and even in the wave of ditching the publisher for the game, they are still making strides into getting it out there and pleasing all of the fans out there. This is made more evident by the latest teaser we have for System Shock 3 that was made part of the Unity Keynote during GDC this year. Read More…

For this title we are seeing just how Remedy will be using some of the new Real-Time Ray Tracing for the game to make shadows look a bit crisper and the lighting feels a little more authentic. Among many other things too, but that is the main focus for this new video for Control by doing the usual gameplay with the settings turned on and then off at times. Read More…

Get Read To Capture The End Of World With Photo Mode In Days Gone
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
New details for Days Gone’s Photo Mode have emerged and it makes Days Gone look like it will have the most advanced version to date There was no surprise when it was announced that Days Gone was going to have a Photo Mode mixed in to the game for us to have fun with. It seems to be a staple for all of the PS4 first-party titles as of late and it would be weird for it to not have it. Now that Bend Studio has declared that Days Gone is now in the Gold phase of development, we have new details on the mode in the game and they sound way more advanced than we may have thought in the first place. Of course, this is not something that all gamers are looking for in their end of the world video games, but it will be a solid option and a step toward other titles having the same features mixed in. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over and it is time to take a deserved break with more video games. This time in the way of actually getting to play them and not just write about them. Not that we did not like the fact that Ashes Of Oahu now has a set timeline to release or that The Division 2 had so many updates before we can play it now. I would rather just be playing that hearing all of the teases out there. Read More…
