by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Netflix will be bringing us more Assassin’s Creed with a new live-action Assassin’s Creed show and a few animated ones It looks like we will be bursting at the seams for new Assassin’s Creed content, as it looks like we will be seeing a series on Netflix sometime in the future. Not just one series but multiple that range from a live-action show to an animated show to the new anime-style shows that the streaming service has been putting out there. The number of different shows and seasons for these Assassin’s Creed series is not totally confirmed, but it looks like the latest film will not be the last time that Ubisoft tries to get the IP outside of the video game realm. Cyberpunk 2077 Has Been Delayed Yet Again To December
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Yet another delay has hit Cyberpunk 2077 with Cyberpunk 2077 getting pushed out another 21 days to ensure the best game Talk about a video game that has had one of the rockiest releases as Cyberpunk 2077 has had here so far. At least in terms of setting so many release dates and then having to push them out, as we are getting another push here. November 19th is no longer the date as CD Projekt RED still did not feel like the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 was up to par and ready for us. Even after hitting its gold phase not that long ago. Read More…

Spirit Of The North Has An Enhanced Edition Coming For The PS5
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Spirit Of The North is heading to the next generation with the announcement of the Spirit Of The North: Enhanced Edition The PS5 will have its full version of Spirit Of The North after the console launch, and we are not talking about it in the way of an update from the PS4 as many of the other games will be getting. This will not just be an update that will make the game run on the new system but an edition that will upgrade all of the visuals and the ability to see the game run in glorious 60 fps. Not something that we have ever seen for this one and it makes me excited to see the Spirit Of The North: Enhanced Edition drop on November 26th digitally and then a physical edition of the game on December 4th. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Destruction AllStars has been delayed out to next year with Destruction AllStars getting a new release window and special announcement too If you were one of those gamers out there looking to have Destruction AllStars at the ready when the PS5 launches, it is time to get a little disappointed. It looks like it will no longer be making that date in November as Lucid Games needs some more time to make sure it is fully ready for the system. It is a bit sad to hear, but it looks like it will add one more title to the February lineup for the PS5 with Destruction AllStars getting shifted to then instead. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to put another week to bed and then dive into more of those video games out there. We had a whole lot this week to look at from Watch Dogs: Legion to Call Of Duty that it will be nice to have a break here. Not that we are going to get much of a break out there with all of the upcoming and already released video games we have to play too. That and the DLC for Doom Eternal and the upcoming stuff for Mortal Kombat 11, we are going to be busy all around. Read More…

Immortals Fenyx Rising Walks Us Along The Story We Will Have
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Immortals Fenyx Rising has a lot of new gameplay and story on how we will be setting out to save those Immortals in the game Gods do we have a way to end the week here with a huge update for Immortals Fenyx Rising with so many angles to look at for it. This is not something I was fully expecting out of Ubisoft, but I know I am glad to see it as we have a whole lot of story to look at and then gameplay to show off how some of this story will be played out. I mean, that may not be everyone's jam as they will want to play Immortals as blind as possible but I am sure that is a small group out there. More so when you realize that there is a demo out there for the game on Stadia to get some of us up and running in the game. Read More…

Little Nightmares II Is Bringing Us Some Halloween Fun Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
A new look at Little Nightmares II is here to offer up some Halloween fun in the way only Little Nightmares could do Little Nightmares II feels like a game we should be experiencing over the Halloween weekend but sadly, we will not be seeing it until February 11th of next year. It feels like a hard pill to swallow, but it is something that I am sure will let Tarsier Studios give us a better game in the end. That said, we are not going to be completely left out of the fun for Little Nightmares II and the holiday this year as we have a new trailer to take in that highlights quite a bit of the horror-themed items in the game here. Here Is A Better Look At The Dual Reality Of The Medium
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
We have some new explanations on how The Medium's dual reality system will work and The Medium offers up something yet to be seen One of the big mechanics we have seen in past videos for The Medium has been the dual reality system that we will need to navigate. This is the one where the main character will be both in the physical and spiritual world with all of the issues that may cause. It looks like it can be an ever-present thing in there from Bloober Team with about two-thirds of the game existing in one of them for most of the game. That is why we have one more explanation video for The Medium that gives us another look at the game and just how it will work when December 10th rolls up and we can play the game on the Xbox Series X and PC. Have A Deeper Look At Everything That Brought Us To Aragami 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
The first developer diary for Aragami 2 is here with a hard lean into how the studio first made Aragami and then the franchise It can be fun to learn about where many of our favorite video games or their franchises started with given the longevity of some or, in the case of Aragami, the recent budding of one. That is what we have here today from Lince Works as we get a nice little history lesson on how the original game came to be and how they took their lessons to try to make something new to carry things on. New in the terms of Aragami 2 and thus a franchise that they might be carrying on with. Read More…

Scorn Offers Up Some Bloody Dark Gameplay To Haunt Us With
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Scorn is here with a long fourteen-minute look at how Scorn will have us managing so much It has been a good minute since we last had anything major out there for Scorn and now feels like the perfect time for that. It is a horror title and given the proximity to Halloween here it seems like the perfect time for Ebb Software to remind us of the game. Well, that and to give us some new footage to look at for Scorn so we can keep mentally ready for it to hit the PC and Xbox Series X next year. That is why we are here again, as we have fourteen minutes of gameplay to take in and be horrified with some of the body horror and creepiness that the game will offer up when we all dive right into it. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
The next DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11 is shown off with Rambo taking to the hunt for all of the Mortal Kombat characters out there Here we go with a look at the guest fighter coming to Mortal Kombat 11 here in the next Kombat Pack and update for the game. John Rambo is out there in the jungle doing what he does best and that is shooting and stabbing everything that is perceived as an enemy. That means that everyone is going to be shot and stabbed given how Mortal Kombat normally goes. Not that it is a knock or anything out there, but it is what is to be expected and what we get to see in the latest gameplay video we have. Read More…

Review — The Signifier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review The Signifier. An investigation game with some interesting future tech mixed in. Here is our review of The Signifier The tech-noir title is finally out there with The Signifier and gamers can be ready to dive right into it all. This would be the latest from Playmestudio and Raw Fury that asks a few interesting questions about AI and human memory. Well, at least some of our perceptions about it as we try to make heads and tails of the latest case that the protagonist is on here. All while getting the traditional mind-bending visuals and gameplay that games like The Signifier normally bring us. Read More…

The Class Is Back In For Co-Op In Watch Dogs: Legion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
The next video in the Watch Dogs: Legion classroom series is here to dive into the changes we will see in Watch Dogs’ Co-Op play Here we go with more of the marketing for Watch Dogs: Legion with a little more gameplay to look at. Nothing all that groundbreaking in terms of the gameplay as it is a lot more of what Ubisoft has given us already, but it is something more to take in for the game. We are just under a week out from October 29th and given how big multiplayer and Co-Op could be in Watch Dogs: Legion, it is nice to have something else along those lines. Even if it feels a bit cheesy and silly to have for a game that could be tackling some real-world ethical issues in cyberspace. Read More…
