A new platformer, Duskfade, has a bit of new gameplay to look at to get us ready for the long wait until Duskfade launches out there It is time to dash, grapple, glide, and jump our way into some fun new gameplay, as we have a good bit to look at for Duskfade. This would be the upcoming title from Weird Beluga and Fireshine Games on its way to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will be on its way to us all in 2026, but that does not mean that we cannot take some time to look at where this platforming title currently is. Also, a bit of fun with the action that Duskfade is going to place us into as we head out there on another hero's journey with some amazing visuals and, hopefully, solid gameplay to experience. The release date for The Alters is finally set and we will be able to experience in full all of the different ways this Alters live The days are coming to a close in terms of us needing to wait to get to experience all that The Alters has to offer up to the world. Not just because 11 Bit Studios is just working non-stop on the game, but that we have finally hit a point where there is a solid release date for us to spy on for the game. I hope you have had fun with all of those demos and trials out there, as The Alters will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on June 13th. Okay, there is a little more time to experience the samples and videos we have for the game thus far, but now we know when the full version of the game will be here for us all to experience and be "All By Myselves" with when we load it up. Expedition 33 is fully fleshed out with the final character of the team getting a bit of a highlight in the mix of things for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 It was only a matter of time until we had the final character for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on display, and here they are. Just ahead of the April 24th release date for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Sandfall Interactive has offered up a look at Monoco from the game. This happens to be one of the few playable characters that are not just another human in the mix of Expedition 33. It is also a character that seems to thrive fully in the heat of battle while still being one of the more scholarly of the group. Read More...

The new mode coming to Days Gone is getting a new highlight out there as we gear up for the launch of Days Gone Remastered Not only will we be getting a whole lot of new visuals and options to play Days Gone Remastered on the PS5 and PC, but it did feel like there might need to be something extra added in to bring some of us back. The game was solid before and worth another playthrough with all of the flashier and faster visuals that Bend Studio is getting out there, but what will keep us playing it over and over so we might see a true sequel. Well, that is where the new Hoard Assault mode of the game is going to kick off when Days Gone Remastered lands on the PS5 on April 25th with the content being available for the PC through some DLC dropped out there. A new Cosmic Invasion is on the way to us all with the new announcement we have for the brawling game Marvel Cosmic Invasion It has been a bit since we had a good and new side-scrolling beat-em-up game, which is why it is fun that we have the announcement for Marvel Cosmic Invasion here. A new title on the way from Tribute Games and Dotemu that is going to give us that classic 90s feel for gameplay while also giving us more of the fun Marvel fights we could expect. This time with some classic characters and some characters that are not normally highlighted in the video games as of late. Read More...

The carnage of World War Z keeps on going with another big community challenge update here for World War Z: Aftermath Those damn zed will just not stay down and that means we have a lot more to play out there in the world of World War Z: Aftermath. Okay, maybe it is not the zed specifically that are not staying down, but the community that Saber Interactive has been able to foster over the years with the game and the World War Z IP. It is still going strong on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there. So strong that the team has put together a whole lot of new challenges and other fun things to keep it all feeling as fresh as possible. Read More...

Our chance to escape The Outlast Trials in the game is here and we get another dark experience in the world of Outlast The next update for The Outlast Trials is finally here and we might finally be getting some of that sweet release for our Reagents in the game. That is, it looks like we might actually be able to escape the nightmare of it all and start the experience all over again. That would be the assumption to it all here, as I am sure that Red Barrels would want us all to come back and keep playing after we made it out. Unless this is all another dark test in the world of Outlast and there will never truly be any escape with us all locked into our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC even longer. Read More...

KARMA is finally paying off with a new physical edition of KARMA: The Dark World on the way to the community out there Fresh off the recent launch of KARMA: The Dark World on the PS5 and PC, it looks as if we have yet another launch on the way for the game. After many have played and enjoyed the game up to now, it looks as if some woes and wants are being taken in with a new physical edition of the game coming to us all this Summer. It will be only a PS5 edition and on the limited side of things, but maybe that is the karma we all have to pay with most PC titles going the way of digital-only in general. It does help the release on the Xbox Series X|S to get a similar treatment, but that all might be based on how this new version of the game pans out. Read More...

The next major update for No More Room In Hell 2 is on the way and it is adding quite a bit more to enjoy in No More Room In Hell 2 There is certainly one thing you have to say about No More Room In Hell 2 as the development and cycle is going for the Early Access… there is no slowdown on the number of major updates coming for it. In fact, here we go with yet another major update on the way from Torn Banner Studios for the game to not just fix some of the bugs and issues that have been found, but one that further expands the game and give PC gamers so much more to experience. You will have to wait until April 15th to get this update for No More Room In Hell 2, but that does not mean we cannot have a look at what is coming with it beyond the fixes. Read More...

The cosmetics coming for Marvel Rivals in the second season of content are on display just before it all opens up in Marvel Rivals Just ahead of the second season of content in Marvel Rivals, it looks like we are going to get a bit spoiled when it comes to the costumes and cosmetics that are on the way when April 11th gets here. This makes sense with NetEase Games giving us the Hellfire Gala in this season and each of the characters should be dressed to the nines even if they are still fighting in the areas. We will look over that part of Marvel Rivals as that is just how the game is going to work. Read More...

The expedition begins with The Alters as we are shown more of the mechanics in the mix of The Alters gameplay With how much that it feels like there will be going on in The Alters, it is about time we start to dig into some of the things we will have to do. It is going to be one long expedition with ourselves out there and, thankfully, 11 Bit Studios is gearing up to give us some insight on what we will have to do in the game when it comes to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in a full form. There is still no solid date on when that will happen for The Alters, but at least now we can start to dig into all of the survival and hard choices we are going to need to make along the way. Choices that might also alter the way we get off the planet or who might be fully surviving this trip out of all of the Jans we will encounter. Read More...

There is more of the Tony Hawk fun coming out there with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 heading to the Switch 2 as well It should come as no surprise that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. This most likely would have been part of the original announcement for the game if Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision did not have to wait for the new console to get its official showcase, but that is a whole different can of worms. We now know that it is officially coming and not going to be part of some backwards play for those who are picking it up on the original Switch. Even if that might be the best option this coming July 11th with how the new console is being handled in the States currently and if you will even be able to have it before this new Tony Hawk remake title drops out there. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This certainly was one week of video games out there to help distract us all from the horrors of the real world once again. Not only did we get to see new horrors like Finding Frankie and Amber Alert get some highlights, but we also were able to see something for Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 and the full announcement for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the mix of all of these video games out there. Even if it does look and sound like many are going to have to wait longer for that console to finally launch out there. Trade wars are going to make everyone suffer and it is not something I thought we would ever specifically need to see in the little subculture of the internet. Read More...

The gameplay of Stygian opens up quite a bit more with a new look at the upcoming entry to the IP, Stygian: Outer Gods This new update that we have for Stygian: Outer Gods is going to be a fun and big one for those out there looking to see where this IP is going out there. It still seems like there is going to be a bit more time before Misterial Games gets us all to the final version of the game, but Fulqrum Publishing is making sure that we are not left waiting for that until some time later in the year. In fact, it looks like the Early Access for Stygian: Outer Gods is about to start up on April 14th for those looking to have some of the experience on the PC before waiting for it to come to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S too. Then again, who needs to wait that long, as there is currently an Open Beta for the game firing off in the same way for all who wish to give it a try. Read More...

The launch for South Of Midnight is almost here and we have one more look at South Of Midnight just ahead of all of that It is time to head into the Deep South out there and see more of the mythologies that do not normally get highlighted, with the launch for South Of Midnight. This is that little title that Compulsion Games has been working on for the Xbox Series X|S and PC with a fun take on the animation and look of it all on top of the new mythologies some of us will get to explore. The development is done and those who picked up the more deluxe version of the game can be playing it right now, with the rest waiting until April 8th to fully dive into what South Of Midnight.
