by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of July 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Halloween An iconic location from the Halloween IP is on display, as we have updates for the physical editions for Halloween: The Game Even though we are still a good way out from Halloween landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this September 8th, it does not mean we cannot go trick-or-treating up and down some streets right now. As long as you are looking to have a nice little look at the Orange Grove Estates that IllFonic has brought to life in the game. The first of the game maps that we can expect to be surviving and stalking around in, as well as one of the iconic locations from the Halloween IP. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Where Dolls Hang A new feature for Where Dolls Hang is announced, with full-length films finding their way into Where Dolls Hang When it comes to unique settings, Where Dolls Hang does seem to have one of them for our horror experience. That would be a place inspired by the real-life Island of Dolls that we have out there. When it comes to unique game features, it looks as if Steelkrill Studio is aiming to give us something that we might never have expected to see in a horror video game. That being said, we will be able to watch full-length horror films in Where Dolls Hang. Read More...

Michael Myers Is Picking Up The Knife In Single Player For Halloween
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 8th of June 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Halloween The single player mode for Halloween is on display to give us a feel for how that will play out when Halloween starts We have had the multiplayer look at Halloween, and now we have a solid update on how the single-player part of the game will flow out there. The bigger selling point for so many when IllFonic and Gun Interactive said that the game would have a true single-player mode on top of the asymmetric multiplayer modes that can get rather repetitive quickly. This is something that a few other titles have tried before, and with September 8th not as far off as many might think, this could be the biggest selling point for Halloween when it is ready for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. At least for the audience that currently has so many options for the style of play, or has watched as all of the others have been shut down in rather quick timelines. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/2/26 — 6/5/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Even as I am writing this little update, the week is still going strong, and so many video games are getting announced and revealed out there. Partially, as the Summer Game Fest continues on, along with the IGN Live event that will go down over the weekend. We cannot allow that to take away from the big things we saw this week with God Of War Laufey, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Until Dawn 2 getting a showcase during the week, but that does mean that the week is not fully over. Just what we can handle with the load around here for all of the video games. Read More...

Silent Hill: Townfall Has A Release Date Set To Give Us The Fear Behind The Static
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of June 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Silent Hill Get ready to head into Silent Hill very soon, with the release date now set for Silent Hill: Townfall to open up It certainly looks as if this Halloween is going to be stacked with horror games, with Silent Hill: Townfall getting a release date that will place it in our homes around that time. No, not on the day specifically, but with Screen Burn and Konami getting a little ahead of all of the season with the game landing on the PS5 and PC on September 24th. Sure, that feels like a larger gap between the release date and the holiday, but it does allow for the new trend of not buying games on the launch date. Read More...

The Story Is Starting To Spread Out There For The Upcoming ILL
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of June 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
ILL A new bit of the story for ILL is on display, and we can get a little more to understand why we are walking in ILL We have had some fun thinking about ILL after it was first revealed to us all, but now we have something a little more specific to take in for the game to get us ready for the 2027 release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Okay, maybe that is a little far off into the future, but Team Clout is ready to show us all a bit of the story beyond the horror that we are going to take in. Even if ILL did look like it could have been something that was given very little to a narrative and still be creepy, now we have a better look at what is going on. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 7th of May 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
WILL It is time to set sail with WILL, as we have the official launching day here for WILL: Follow The Light After a little bit of a delay, we can finally set sail with WILL: Follow The Light out there on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A tale of adventure, exploration, and various other things that TomorrowHead Studio has been working into their latest title. Not to mention, it does look as if we are going to have quite a bit of sailing about the world out there as we explore the lighthouse and island that will be close by. That is part of the mission that Will finds himself on in the game, so it would be a little off if none of that played out. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Monday, 13th of April 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
WILL A slight delay is here for WILL: Follow The Light, as we will need to wait an extra week for WILL: Follow The Light It looks as if we are all going to need to wade in the waters a bit more if we were looking to play WILL: Follow The Light on April 28th. That was the date that TomorrowHead Studio had listed as the official release for the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As it seems to do, though, we have been hit with a little bit of a delay for WILL: Follow The Light, and the game will be missing that mark. Silent Hill: Townfall Takes Us Home With Some New Compositions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of April 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
Silent Hill Hear the music coming to Silent Hill: Townfall with a little look around the lands we will walk in this Silent Hill title If there is one IP that is well-known for its score and haunting music, it is this one, and that means that Silent Hill: Townfall has a lot to live up to. I cannot think of many gamers out there who would not know the game based on one or two of the songs played in it. That is why, I am sure, that Screen Burn and Konami reached out to Pilotpriest to help compose the music for the game and take us all back into the world of Silent Hill. Even if this one does seem to take place away from the original town we all wandered in. Read More...

A new psychological horror title that Stormdrill is working on for the PC that seems like it will be taking us all to darker places. Not just in the world, but maybe in our minds, as we are haunted by the past of a family factory. That is the basic premise we're working with for Bloodmoored, though it does look like things are going to be much darker than expected. Read More...

Halloween Have a look at the multiplayer aspect of Halloween The Video Game to see just how they are bringing Halloween into a new form It's time to check back in with Halloween The Video Games to see just how multiplayer matches will function in the game. It's exciting to say that, specifically, as IllFonic and Gun Interactive still have plans to give us a true single-player mode too. For now, we're going to focus on the matches and how they are going to function in the 1v4 style. That is, players will be either a Civilian or one will play as Halloween's boogeyman, Michael Myers.
