Things Are Not Going To Be Covered Up At The SDCC 2026 Fandom Event
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2026 - 07:00 PM ]
Fandom The annual SDCC Fandom Party is on, with another fun headliner announced to play this year’s SDCC Fandom Party If there was any doubt that we would see Fandom back at SDCC again, you can put all of that to rest. The ninth annual party has now been set for the convention, and we have a list of what to expect and who will be bringing us all together in the fun after hours. That's also not to say that there will not be a lot of things we did not expect to be out there again, but that is for all involved to surprise us all with. Even if we do know that Halo: Campaign Evolved will be a big hit out there, along with all of the visual novels that Z2 Comics has brought us in the past. Read More...

Reshape Your Reality With Your Grief In The Darkness Of Impermanence
by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 25th of June 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Impermanence A new narrative horror title, Impermanence, is on the way to us all, and we have a slight look at Impermanence in the announcement Grief can quickly do a number on someone who isn't able to handle it, and that seems to be the story going down in Impermanence. Not with anything that is going on behind-the-scenes with Bad Choices Loud Noises or Duckosaurus Games, hopefully, but mainly with the protagonist in the upcoming horror title for the PC. All to give us a dark and grim look at how grief, refusing to let go, and obsession can shape the world we live in. In the case of Impermanence, it looks to be much more than just the perceived world of the person suffering from it. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Thursday, 21st of May 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
Candy Land The fun of Candy Land is coming to life before, during, and after SDCC 2026 with the Candy Land Café Another of those famed board game properties is coming to life, with the announcement of the Candy Land Café. A nice little bit of fun that will get us further into the sweet fun that Hasbro has been carrying for decades now. I am fairly certain that there are very few people out there who don't have any clue about this famed board game, so it feels about right that they are going to hit us all with that nostalgia. Even if this will be a limited engagement thing starting on July 9th and running in San Diego, CA. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 1/5/26 — 1/9/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 10th of January 2026 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The world of video games never ceases to amaze me out there, as this week was a lot more packed than expected for a CES week. Not only did we get a lot to check out during the convention, but we also managed to get solid updates out to you all week. Some, like, Styx: Blades Of Greed gameplay, Dead By Daylight and Stranger Things kicking off the crossover, Resident Evil Requiem getting some fun new visuals, and the fact that we will be able to play Xbox video games without the need of an Xbox soon. Yeah, that one is a bit of a wild ride to think about, and we have all of that here on the site for you. Read More...

by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 6th of January 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
007 First Light A new look at 007 First Light out of CES is here to show us just how NVIDIA will be pushing 007 First Light forward Fresh off the recent delay of 007 First Light, it looks like we have a lot more driving its way out to us for the game during CES. Not anything unusual, since the gadgets and vehicles in the IP get highlighted during the show, but here we go with a look at how IO Interactive is teaming up with NVIDIA to help give the PC version of the game a bit of a push before the new May 27th release date. Something that will help 007 First Light stand out further than the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2 versions of the game. That is the way of it all when it comes to this hardware. Read More...

Resident Evil Requiem Gets A Visual Showcase With The NVIDIA Hardware
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of January 2026 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil Resident Evil is coming to life with the new Path Tracing & DLSS 4 features that Resident Evil Requiem will house It feels like it would not be CES without Capcom showing off something new out there with their games, and it looks like Resident Evil Requiem is taking the stage here. That might sound weird to many, but they do like offering their games to showcase either new PC hardware or showcase a new console feature. This goes back to the day when we were out there playing Resident Evil 5 on the side of a Las Vegas strip hotel before it launched. Read More...

You Might Be Able To Play Your Xbox Games Without A Console Or PC Soon
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 5th of January 2026 - 10:00 PM ]
Xbox A new platform for the Xbox cloud gaming is on the way, with a new partnership announced for Xbox during CES It seemed like it was something that might never have come, but it looks like you might not need anything by a TV screen to play your favorite Xbox games again. Not that we won't have the Xbox Series X|S and PC as options to play, still. Also, maybe a new system that has yet to be announced as well. No, as it seems, a new partnership could see some smart TVs this year have the ability to play the cloud streaming versions of our games without anything but a controller. Read More...

San Diego Comic-Con Through The Eyes Of A Complete Novice To The Experience
by Bri Sullivan [ Friday, 26th of September 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Comic-Con Have a look at San Dingo Comic-Con through the lens of someone relatively new to the Comic-Con experience from 2025 It’s been a few months since my first Comic-Con, and I’ve had time to reflect on my experience. When I was invited to Comic-Con, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had heard about it from my friends and seen photos during some of the more popular Marvel-heavy Cons, but I had never done much digging into the Con itself. I’ve broken my experience down into the pluses and the minuses, plus a few tips and tricks, with my overall review at the end. Read More...

Head A Little Behind The Scenes After Gamescom For Directive 8020
by Jana Lass [ Friday, 5th of September 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Directive 8020 Take a walk around the setting of Directive 8020 as it was all shown off during Gamescom, and see why we need to wait longer for Directive 8020 Even though Gamescom has come and gone for this year, we are still getting some new looks at things that went down during the event. Specifically, some look at things that we would only have had a chance to experience if we were on-site, with the latest for Directive 8020. We do need something to help take away the sting that Supermassive Games had to push the release out to 2026. Not only that, but also a solid look at some of the other bits that were behind the scenes for Directive 8020, and what they tried to dazzle the crowds with out there. Read More...
