Death Is Going To Need To Earn Us In God Of War: Ragnarök
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of September 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War A new story trailer for God Of War: Ragnarök is here to prep us all for the next big chapter into the God Of War saga It feels like November 9th is never going to get here with each new epic bit of content we have for God Of War: Ragnarök get dropped out there. This latest bit is just as epic when it comes to everything Santa Monica Studio has offered thus far, but it does dive a bit into the story of things, so get ready for a few possible spoilers. Not that we have been able to always call the story beats of any of the God Of War titles as they hit, but just needed to note for those that want a completely pure experience when it hits the PS4 and PS5. Even if it does feel like it is just highlighting a few things we all knew was coming to the game beyond more of the parent struggles of raising a teenager in some harsh times out there. Read More...

Enter Into Svartalfheim With The Latest For God Of War: Ragnarök
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of September 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
God Of War Another realm for God Of War: Ragnarök is finally here with the lands of the Dwarves putting the God Of War to new challenges We have been told that we will be able to go to all of the realms in God Of War: Ragnarök after having a few limited or just blocked out in the last title. It totally worked for the story but it felt odd that Santa Monica Studio still left the options in the game with telling us a big "no" when trying to access them. Thankfully, when God Of War: Ragnarök launches on November 9th for the PS4 and PS5, we will get access to those new worlds out there and we have a small sample of one of those realms right now. It is on the slight side, but here we go with a look at Svartalfheim in the game for us all for the first time. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of August 2022 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War To hype us all up for God Of War: Ragnarök, we have a new look at the most recent God Of War title again It has been quite a while since God Of War came out on the PS4 and even with the resurgence of all of the new platforms it has been on, some out there may not fully know the story still. Sure, there is still time to play through it all once more before November 9th rolls on up with God Of War: Ragnarök but Santa Monica Studio wants to make sure we are all caught up just in case we do not have time to roll through it all again. Even if that is all something that can be done in one weekend of non-stop gaming. Read More...

God Of War The release date for God Of War: Ragnarök is now set and we have more collectibles for the true God Of War fans Even though the basic fans have been terrible towards Santa Monica Studio as of late, the team over there have opted to grace us all with the official release date for God Of War: Ragnarök now. A date that keeps the same promise that we will be seeing it before the end of 2022 and also lands right on one of Odin's days out there. PlayStation PlayStation Plus is finally folding PlayStation Now into one specific service for us all It was one of the worst kept secrets and, thankfully, the rumors can now stop with the announcement we have for PlayStation Plus and how things are going to be changing for the service. Try not to freak out just yet; we still have to wait until June for all of these to go into effect, but it does sound close to what gamers have been asking for. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of February 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
Horizon We have a small look at some of the new challenges we will face in Horizon Forbidden West with some coming back from the past Horizon title We should have all known that Horizon Forbidden West was going to be a bit challenging to play. It would not be a great game if there were not any solid challenges in the game. That is not what we are talking about, though. The challenging part we are talking about here will be the little extras that Guerrilla Games is mixing in again to give us a break from the main story if we do want. Read More...

Uncharted The Uncharted film has one last trailer for us to take in and see how close to Uncharted it will end up being February 18th is going to be a busy day for all of those PlayStation fans out there. We have the launch of a huge title on that day and Uncharted will be hitting theaters for them to see how it compares to playing the game. Obviously, there will be some differences between them all and Naughty Dog will still have the video game side on lock, but that does not diminish any of the hype we should have for now. Dive In For The Latest Update For Horizon Forbidden West
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of January 2022 - 10:00 PM ]
Horizon It is time to go underwater in Horizon Forbidden West and see the new features this brings to the Horizon world There is no big surprise that Horizon Forbidden West will give us more of the ability to take a dive and explore some of the new underwater areas in the game. We have been seeing little bits of this from Guerrilla Games since the game was first announced and still in a pre-rendered form. Now, we have a chance to take that dive and see a little bit on how that will function and play out in Horizon Forbidden West. Especially since Aloy is not one of those characters that can generally hold their breath for insane amounts of time and there needs to be some kind of mechanic around that in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of January 2022 - 10:00 PM ]
Uncharted The launch of the Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection is almost here for more to enjoy the Uncharted line once again Just one more week and PS5 gamers will have a chance to dive back into some of the Uncharted titles out there with the launch of the Legacy Of Thieves Collection. January 28th still marks the day that the upgraded version of Naughty Dog's IP will be here in all of the new visual glory that it can offer up. That is not to say that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy did not look and handle well on the PS4, they are just trying to take advantage of the new hardware and all that it can do. All while giving a little more life into the IP as we wait for the film to launch out there. Read More...

It Is Time To Get To Know The Cast Coming In Horizon Forbidden West
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of January 2022 - 08:00 PM ]
Horizon We get to go behind the scenes for Horizon Forbidden West with a look at the new and old cast bringing Horizon to life The story is a little out there already for Horizon Forbidden West and now we get a chance to see more of the cast that will be bringing them all to life. Most of them are back to reprise their roles from before and others are completely new members bringing us completely new characters too. That is kind of the way this all goes and it looks like Guerrilla Games have tapped some bigger names out there to help with all of this. Especially when you see that Carrie-Anne Moss will be joining Ashly Burch in this outing. Read More...

Horizon Forbidden West Is Going To Offer Up A More Epic Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of January 2022 - 06:00 PM ]
Horizon The story trailer for Horizon Forbidden West is here to show us all how the world of Horizon will be growing larger Only a few more sleeps and we will be able to dive right into the insanity that is going to be Horizon Forbidden West on the PS4 and PS5. It is crazy to think that we are almost there on February 18th to see how Guerrilla Games has further progressed this IP and story. There has been a lot out there before with Horizon Zero Dawn and all of the comics that went along with all of that up to now, and now we have a slight new look at where the west will take us. Most of which looks like it will be in-engine visuals and scenes that are going to be a bit more intense than we have seen before. Read More...

God Of War A new look at the PC version of God Of War is here to give us a better look at the improved visuals we might have in God Of War The day is almost here for those PC gamers out there dying to get a chance to experience the latest God Of War title. This is the one from 2018 for the PS4 and then the PS5 later on, for those that are confused by the naming conventions of the IP now. I am sure you knew that already, but I felt it needed to be clarified for Santa Monica Studio. No matter the case, God Of War is landing on the PC on January 14th with all of the bells and whistles one would assume it would have. Read More...
