Secret World Legends Is Bringing The Dark, Horror MMO Back To Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Secret World MMO is coming back strong as it has been revamped as Secret World Legends and bringing all the great stories for free this Spring Talk about a blast from the past as it looks like The Secret World (Remember this title?) is coming back with a vengeance. Not that it had really been out of circulation since Funcom first brought this MMO to our PCs about five years ago, it has been moving along just nicely since, but it never had the massive traction of other MMOs out there. None the less, it looks like there will be a second huge push for the game as it has been announced that Secret World Legends is on its way and bringing a whole lot with it. A whole lot and all for the low price of FREE. Read More…

Resident Evil 7 Tested The Dev's Courage To Join The Family
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
The second making of video for Resident Evil 7 is here and it delves into Resident Evil 7's horrific family and found footage mechanics Fresh off the heels of last week's look at how Resident Evil 7 was made, we have the latest video in the series that is being put out there. If you don't remember, last week we saw how the Bakers were originally supposed to have a pet dog in the mix and also that Capcom was working on a mechanic in-game that would have made you need to hold your breath. Of course, both of those were scrapped for the final version of Resident Evil 7 but it is interesting to see how the whole process goes over there. Not to mention to see what could have been in the game. Read More…

StarCraft Remastered Is Coming To Show How The Evolution Can Be Completed
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 28th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been announced that StarCraft Remastered is in the works and that we will see an HD remaster of StarCraft sometime this Summer If there has ever been one solid RTS title in gaming history it has to be StarCraft. I know it was one of my favorites for so very long even with all of the other titles that Blizzard has given us over the past nearly two decades. It was one of the games that locked me firmly into the PC gaming world and now it looks like it is going to do it again. Sadly, this isn't an announcement for a sequel, but we are getting StarCraft Remastered now and all of the glory that can bring with it. Read More…

Jason's New Ability In Friday The 13th: The Game Has Been Revealed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
During PAX East it was teased that Friday The 13th: The Game was changing up Jason's fourth ability to fit in line with Friday The 13th lore, and here it is One of the things a lot of people noticed during the Friday The 13th: The Game panel during PAX was that there was a new ability for Jason that had yet to be shown off and was different than what was in the beta test. People pointed it out and as is normal, Gun Media and Illfonic made note of it but then gave no new information of hints to it all. All that was known that it was something completely new for Friday The 13th: The Game but would please a lot of fans of the franchise and looking for some new gameplay. Read More…

It's Time To Montage Prey's Weapons And Typhon Powers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
A new showcasing of Prey's different weapons and powers is here to show you the stuff we have yet to see for Prey so far We've seen a whole lot of the weapons and powers for Prey so far but it has seemed a bit limited. I assumed that was due to the fact that Arkane Studios wanted to keep a lot of it under wraps until May 5th when we'll all be playing the game on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Looks like I was wrong. Not in the aspect that we have seen it all already, but in the fact that Bethesda has brought us one more video here for Prey that showcases more of the powers and weapons in the game that we will be using. No More Rumors As Destiny 2 Is Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Not long after the Destiny 2 rumors of last week, it looks like Destiny 2 has been given the full announcement treatment to entice fans Last week you may or may not have seen or heard about Destiny 2 getting possibly leaked out there via a few promotional posters showing up online. Not the first time something like that has bitten a developer in the ass, MKX, but it looks like Bungie would have been the most recent one. This of course led many to question if Destiny 2 was truly coming or it was a hoax of some sorts. Thankfully the wait has only been a few days as it looks like Activision gave the go ahead to officially announce the game is coming and then gave us all a nice little teaser image for the game. Final Fantasy XV Opens Up Another Secret Passage In The Recent Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
New areas for Final Fantasy XV are opening up as another Final Fantasy XV patch is out with free content before the paid DLC I hope you are ready to dive back into Final Fantasy XV and give that infamous Chapter 13 another a play through. If not, it is okay but you'll be missing out on a few things as Square Enix has released a new update for the game that brings us a different path to take and shake up what many thought was a weird bit to the game's progression. Ask anyone, myself included, things went rather "off" for Final Fantasy XV at that point in the game and now it looks like there is going to be a bit of a fix to it. All of this due to the new bit of DLC for the game coming out tomorrow in the way of Episode Gladiolus. Read More…

Welcome to my review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I won’t take much time discussing bugs and things I covered in my first impressions article, but I will get the bad out of the way first. If you’re going to pick this game up then get a can of Raid with it because the bugs are plentiful. One experience I had was on a mission you get from Vetra. Read More…

Friday The 13th: The Game's Full Cast Of Counselors Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
New shot of Friday The 13th's counselors has been placed out there to give us a feel for who we will play in Friday The 13th that's not Jason It's been a wait but here we go with Friday The 13th: The Game getting some more time in the sun. No, we don't have a release date for everyone out there as it is still set for Early 2017, but what we do have is a look at all of the counselors in the game that Illfonic and Gun Media have crafted side-by-side. All ten of our victims counselors are no present for Friday The 13th and all filling their specific roles that have been placed out there for them. The finer details on that have still yet to be disclosed, but at least we have a look at them as we had a look at all of the Jason versions already as well. Read More…

Get Ready To Launch Some Fools With Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
A launch trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition has been released to show us even more on how Bulletstorm has been upgraded and worth our time and money again In case you forgot, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be launching on April 7th here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We've brought this up before as this is the remastered version of People Can Fly's insane, bullet-hell driven title from a while back that had a nice little following for it. It's been given a bit of a tune up and a fresh coat of paint and will soon be out there for everyone to drive around like an asshole if they wish. That is not a testament to what I think of Bulletstorm mind you, just a fitting description of how it all came together again based on the titles themes and setting. Read More…

Outlast 2 Has Now Been Classified In Australia Without Any Edits
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing in Australia afterall as Outlast 2 has now been given a classification of R18+ by the reviewing board Here's a bit of good news out there just in case you weren't having a good day. It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing down in Australia now as the ratings board down there has given the game a classification of R18+. This comes a week after were first caught wind that they refused to give the game a rating due to some of the graphic things that Red Barrels had in the game; particularly one scene. But the worry is now over as it has been resolved and now we all get to see and experience Outlast 2 on April 25th. Read More…

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's Next Episode Is Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's third episode has finally been released as soon we can see how this part of The Walking Dead plays out Last week we had a nice little tease for the third episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It showed off a nice little bit of what we could expect in this episode but also looked like it was very focused on the pre-end history of Javier's and little more than that. This week it looks like Telltale Games has given us all the launch trailer for the episode, it still launches on March 28th though, and it definitely goes down a path a bit of a different path than previously thought; all of which in a good way. I had little doubt that this version of The Walking Dead would leave us hanging in a weird spot. Read More…

Find Out More On Just Who Prey's Morgan Yu Really Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Prey is out and it dives right into Prey's protagonist, who they are and why they are going through the hell that they do in the game By now we all know that we will be playing our own version of Morgan Yu in Prey so we can be fully immersed. Arkane Studios has given us the option to play as male or female in the game and all without sacrificing any of the story for one or the other. Pretty nice even though Prey is a FPS and we'll only really see the character's hands in this regard, but there are a few scenes and tidbits that will show off the gender. You know, because this is something that is truly needed to be a focus instead of just telling an amazing story. Read More…
