Not Every Prisoner Wears Orange In Minecraft: Story Mode's Third Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of September 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode's third episode is here and it looks like we will meet many other ‘prisoners’ of this Minecraft world Here we go with the latest trailer for this season of Minecraft: Story Mode and the third episode set to hit our PS4, Xbox One, PC, or mobile devices on September 19th. We are about to hit the mid-way point of the story that Telltale Games has crafted so far so I guess it is time to start to expect all of those twists and turns to start hitting rather hard now. That is of course if they opt to go the path they normally do and aim to give us more than some fun references to Minecraft and all the things that Mojang has placed out in the world. Read More…

DOOM And Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Coming To The Switch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
It has just been announced that DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be hitting the Switch but no word on the previous Wolfenstein titles While not the most surprising move here by Bethesda, it now looks like Nintendo Switch owners can not only look forward to Skyrim making the jump over, but also Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and the most recent DOOM. All so you can take all of these titles on the go with you instead of just enjoying them in your home. At least that was the big push when Wolfenstein II and DOOM were added to the list of the most recent Nintendo Direct stream. Read More…

Meet The Reason For Your Pain & Anger In Assassinâs Creed Origins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Origins is here and gives us a good view of the figures behind all of the issues in the Assassin’s Creed franchise Given the setting for Assassin’s Creed Origins, it would not make complete sense to see the looming villains we have already seen time and time again in the rest of the franchise. At least in the shape and form we have known them to be all the way back to the original title. I am sure the Templars will still be a part of the game as it wouldn't be a full Assassin’s Creed title without them, but it does look like Ubisoft is taking us far back enough to see where they started from. Runes In God Of War Are Going To Be A Lot More Than Just Decoration
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of September 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
A recent podcast with the director of God Of War has been placed out there and it goes a bit into the details of God Of War's runic magic and their use In the recent weeks, it would seem that we are getting new tidbits for God Of War seeping out and both on the side of gameplay mechanics and other on the side of aesthetics. Well, at least in terms of the concept art that Santa Monica Studios is using to make the game look amazing on the PS4. There have been a whole lot of those flying around as part of the marketing for God Of War, but now we have a little more to dig into here than just that. Read More…

Get Ready To Take To The Sky With ThatGameCompany's Next Title
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The next title from ThatGameCompany has been announced, Sky, and it looks to do just what the title says by taking us on an adventure in the Sky It looks like the wait for whatever the next title ThatGameCompany is working is now over as we just had the announcement that it is a title named Sky. It is nice, simplistic, and looks to use the same gameplay modes that the developer has used for so long to make some amazing title. The only truly weird part is that Sky will be coming to the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV before anywhere else. Read More…

Enter The Haven Of Purity With The Clerics Of ELEX
by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
A new trailer for ELEX is here and it is showing off the third faction of ELEX as the Clerics who are all technology over everything else We have met the Berserkers and the Outlaws for ELEX already and with the game hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17th it makes sense that we get to meet yet another of the factions in the game, The Clerics. Do not think these are all just holy men and women as the name kind of alludes to, but more of Piranha Bytes' version of them in this post-apocalyptic world where and endless struggle rages on. THQ Nordic sure loves their post-apocalypses here don't they? Read More…

It Is Almost Time For The Ultimate Target In Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of September 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
It is time to find out if Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider will actually have you kill Dishonored's favorite morally ambiguous character, The Outsider In just a few days we will all be treated to Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This is the expansion coming from Arkane Studios for the franchise that will be building off the story of Billie Lurk and Daud and their new goal to kill the Outsider. I guess the title of the game kind of states all of that, but given that this is another Dishonored title, the killing of the Outsider is just an option we can take. At least that is the takeaway from the recent interview clip that Bethesda has just released as we all wait for September 15th to come around. Read More…

The Evil Within 2 Looks To Ramping Up Some Of The Action Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Another trailer for The Evil Within 2 is here and it shows a bit more of the action we can expect mixed into The Evil Within 2 when it launches If you like to have a lot of action in your horror games, then get ready to add The Evil Within 2 into the mix as the latest trailer definitely shows that there will be plenty of that mixed into the final game. Not that Tango Gameworks is going out of their way to make this game in that vein, but it certainly looks like there will be more of it in this title when compared to the prior one. So far, The Evil Within IP has been more of the true horror side of the spectrum, but maybe this was a call from on high over at Bethesda. Read More…

Review â Maize
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Maize. An adventure game all about surviving a bunker full of sentient corn. Here is our review of this Maize Late last year we saw Maize release out there for the PC world and only had glimmers of hope for when it would be making its way over to the PS4 and Xbox One. We all knew it was coming but it wasn't until September 12th that Finish Line Games was able to get the game to make the leap on over. Or the crawl. Read More…

We Will Face Tooth & Claw Against Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Feral Tribe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of September 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The next tribe of Orcs for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is here and they are bringing teeth & claws into the mix of Shadow Of War's big fight Another week and now another of the tribes from Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is brought to us to look and get ready to deal with how we choose when the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 10th. We have seen some great ones already and now we have the Feral Tribe joining the ranks from Monolith Productions for the game. I was pretty sure that most Orcs out there in Shadow Of War were already feral in general, but I guess these ones are going even further into the stereotype here. Read More…

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 11th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video series for Outcast: Second Contact has released to show off just how exploration will be key again in this version of Outcast that is now coming Here we go with another reason to put on the "way back hats" as we have Outcast: Second Contact coming and bringing back some of the cult hit from 1999. Maybe you heard of it and played and maybe you have not. Given how well it sold back then, most likely you have not heard of this title from Appeal before. Read More…

Another Jason Will Be Stalking The Maps Of Friday The 13th: The Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of September 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
It looks like Friday The 13th: The Game will be getting another new Jason skin, Weather Effects, and another location from Friday The 13th's universe There looks to be yet another version of Jason coming to Friday The 13th: The Game as the team over at IllFonic has now shown a small glimpse of the version from the fourth film that is out there. Not only that, but it also looks like we are going to be getting another map to run around and survive, or kill, on. Then to top it off even more, it looks like Gun Media has also let loose that we are going to be getting a new weather effect to add to the overall feel of Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More…

Biomutant Has Some New Gameplay To Show Off Character Creation & Combat
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of September 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Biomutant has popped up online and it goes through the character creation of Biomutant as well as some of the starting combats Back at Gamescom we had our first look at Biomutant and were left to speculate on all of the ins and outs of the game as it was really just a cinematic trailer with an announcement that the game was in the works. Now we jump to the most recent PAX, and now we have some new gameplay foot age for the game so we can see what Experiment 101 is really up to with the game. Or at least get a good look and feel for what could be coming with Biomutant and if it truly fits into the list of titles that THQ Nordic is known to bring us as of late. Read More…
