A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another great week of video games in the bag and so much more to go on with. Even as we head into the "big lull" where everyone is just playing what they currently have or are waiting for titles that we will not see until next year, we had a good chunk of news and updates to cover. We even had a chance to get our review of Horizon Zero Dawn's latest expansion out there for you. All while enjoying what we have for Injustice 2, Far Cry 5, and Final Fantasy XV in the mix. Another Justice League Is Here For Injustice 2â¦For A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Here for the new Justice League film, you can unlock new gear in Injustice 2 that will get the team looking like their real-world counterparts Maybe you have put Injustice 2 down for a bit given all of the other games that have dropped here recently, or you are still knee-deep in the action and are only going to put it down long enough to go see the latest Justice League movie. No matter the case, it looks like NetherRealm Studios is taking their shot at bringing you more of these characters to you through the game's gear system as now you can unlock the gear from the film. At least if you are willing and able to hop back into Injustice 2 and take part in the Multiverse challenges to unlock them all. Read More…

Batman: The Enemy Within Is Fracturing The Mask Next Week
by Julia Thompson [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
The release date for the third episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has been set and we will be back with Batman next week If you have been pining for the next episode of Batman: The Enemy Within to finally drop, then the wait is almost over as it is coming next week on November 21st for all of its platforms new and old. Just about when it should have been expected based on the norms that Telltale Games has for us with these titles and this one looks like it is going to be just as insane as they have been in the past. Of course, that is if you have been playing them from episode to episode and not waiting for the entire season of Batman: The Enemy Within to be playable in one shot. Read More…

Take To The Sky With New Gameplay For The New Title
by Duke Searles [ Friday, 17th of November 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
We have some new gameplay for Sky to look at and see how Sky will be the same but different from the dev's other titles out there It has been a bit since we all first heard about ThatGameCompany's upcoming title Sky or at least saw any gameplay for the iOS title. A few months at this point, but now we are back to see some new footage for the game as well as have some of the developer's commentary on just what is going on in the game. We already knew that there would be a social aspect to it all as well as the ability to fly around the world, but here we get to see just how some of that plays into the larger side of Sky at the end of the day. It also looks like Light and Darkness will play into the core of it all as well which is something we have not seen until now. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
A new VR experience in The Exorcist universe is almost here as we know when The Exorcist: Legion VR will be hitting the Oculus, HTC Vive, and PSVR It looks like we can add another huge horror franchise to the list of VR titles out there as The Exorcist: Legion VR is coming to us all on November 22nd to carry on all of the prophecies that were laid out in the lore. Well at least it is coming to the PC on the HTC Vive and Oculus as Fun Train and Wolf & Wood have not given a release date for the PS VR, but none the less we are getting a nice and creepy extension to The Exorcist III. Nonetheless, the game is coming to us and it looks like it will add to the "the scariest franchise" in horror movie history. Read More…

So Much For Security In Agents Of Mayhem As Their Safeword Is Called
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of November 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The Safeword DLC for Agents Of Mayhem and this adds a few little things but also Kinzie Kensington to the roster for Agents Of Mayhem If you are still jamming out to Agents Of Mayhem and still having a blast with it, then you should know that a new bit of DLC just quietly dropped out there that you may want to take notice of. Why Deep Silver and Volition did not make a big deal about it is beyond me, but another character from the Saints Row world is now available for the game. Who? Read More…

Review â Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. Can you make The Cut? Here's our review of Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds I was really equal parts excited and worried about Horizon Zero Dawn’s new DLC. Would it be an overpriced cash grab for Guerrilla Games to scrape a few more pennies from fans, or a story that needed to be told that didn't fit with the flow and progression of the main game? I try not to delve into the main plots of games too much, but if you’re buying the DLC I am going to assume you have played Horizon Zero Dawn. So if you just want to know if I recommend it or not I’ll save you sometimes and say yes. Read More…

Do Not Expect Vampyr To Bleed Your Wallet With DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
In a recent interview for Vampyr, it was revealed that the team does not want to do any DLC for Vampyr but plan for a sequel based on sales In a recent interview for DontNod's upcoming Vampyr, a few interesting things for the game were revealed but sadly still no solid release date for the PS4, Xbox One, or PC. It is still set for "early 2018" and I am going to venture a guess around E3 or so. Nonetheless, there were some interesting facts about Vampyr that did come to light outside of when Focus Home Interactive will deem it a full success or not. Read More…

Montana Has Been Beautifully Recreated Just For Far Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of November 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Far Cry 5 is here to show us how much of Montana has been recreated just for Far Cry 5 By now there should be little doubt that Far Cry 5 is going to look amazing on February 27th when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unless Ubisoft has been going out of their way to only make the small demos look impressive and the gameplay videos are overclocked, it is going to be an amazing looking game. Not just because this is one of those franchises they work to make look visually stunning, but because Far Cry 5 is finally mirroring a real-world location and that just happens to be something that the team over there can do very well. I'll point you all at the Watch Dogs franchise if you were questioning any of that as both of those are insanely well done to give a true feeling for the towns and locations they are set. Read More…

Apes Are About To Launch The Offensive In Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of November 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The launch for Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier is almost upon us and that means we have a new trailer for this Planet Of The Apes outing November 21st marks the day that Planet Of The Apes: Last Frontier will be landing on the PS4 and there is still so much that we all do not know about this little narrative game here. We do know that it will be telling some of the story between Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and War For The Planet Of The Apes; also that it will have four players involved in driving the story forward by making the choices that the Humans and the Apes need to make. Also that Imaginati Studios is all behind it here and trying something new for the whole genre and storytelling methods we have been used to for some time. Read More…

Tekken 7 Is Crossing Games Again As Noctis Joins In The Fight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of November 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
The third DLC character for Tekken 7 is here and it looks like Tekken 7 is going to be getting a bit of Final Fantasy XV in it Someone was sitting around and wondering what else needs to be part of Tekken 7 and what the game needed more of it seems. At least that is how I like to think about the process that Bandai Namco starts off with when they try to figure out what their game needs to have added to it to improve it all. That is also how I think Tekken 7's latest DLC character has come to light as I see someone thinking, "You what this game needs more of? Final Fantasy XV. Read More…
