by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
A few more behind-the-scenes videos for God Of War are here to show off more of the Trolls and Revenants we will face in God Of War The hype train keeps rolling on for God Of War as we are only a few days out from launch (4/20/18) now and we still have more to see for the game. Even after all of the rave reviews, it has received so far, Santa Monica Studio still wants you to see why you should be excited to get into the game. This time around it is another good look at some of the upper-level monsters Kratos and Atreus will be facing off against in God Of War. The trolls are here yet again, but now we have a bit more than we have had on the mystical revenants we have only slightly seen before now. Read More…

A Hostile Takeover Is Coming Just Before The Launch Of Spider-Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
A new prequel novel for the upcoming Spider-Man game has been announced that should give those who read it a bit more insight on where Spider-Man and the world will be starting There is more going on in Spider-Man than many may have thought before as the game takes place well into Peter's career as the web-slinger. This we have heard ad nauseam since we first saw the game was coming from Insomniac Games. It is not an origin story at all, but of course there had to be somewhere that this version of the character started out and led up to the action we will be seeing and experiencing on September 7th. Kratosâ Journey Will Be An Every Evolving On In God Of War
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for God Of War is here to further show us just how Kratos’ Journey has come since the closing of God Of War III If for some reason you have yet to catch on that the next God Of War will be changing up things in many ways other than graphics, combat, and mechanics then we have yet another developer diary here to help drive that home. More in the how Kratos has evolved as a character kind of way and no other changes to the franchise that Santa Monica Studio has for us. We all knew he was going to be more "evolved" in this God Of War, but now we get to hear more on how he made it to the place he is in now since last we saw him in the third full title. Read More…

Agony Will Be Getting Some Censorship For The Console Versions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
It looks like console players of Agony will be seeing things in a few different ways, as Agony has had to be censored to be able to come to the platforms While it may not be the reason given for the delay of Agony, it looks like we may have found the true reason we are all waiting a bit longer for this title to launch and it is sadly censorship. At least that is what I am presuming here and not directly what Madmind Studio has said but it makes sense now. As it turns out, they have had to go through a few changes with Agony to get it to a place where it can release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More…

Well at least if you already own the core game on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One before or during the time this limited event runs. Read More…

Live Out Many Of Those Secret Agent Fantasies With Defector
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
A new VR game is coming, Defector, that will try and let you live out the secret agent lifestyle and try not to be a Defector Get ready to be able to live out some of those cray spy movie fantasies as a new VR title is coming to give you just that and it is called Defector. Probably not the best of names to go with for a title that aims to do the whole spy thing, but maybe Twisted Pixel has some great hidden gems in there to make sense of it all. They generally are good at that and maybe Defector does not point at the character we are playing and that of who were are hunting down or trying to find. I am getting off topic now as the speculation wheels are turning. Read More…

It Is Time To Go Behind The Music Of Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
New information on the music for Detroit: Become Human is here and we get to hear how three different composers are setting the mood in Detroit: Become Human When it comes to having three different characters in Detroit: Become Human, the team over at Quantic Dream wanted them each to feel a bit different from each other to help emphasize the story and world. That is the base assumption from the start. Given that they are taking the story and storytelling method for Detroit: Become Human down the same path as that of feature films or television, they would need a way to help focus on differences between them all subtlety. Spider-Manâs Combat Works A Bit Different Than Many Of Us Have Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Spider-Man is here and it shows us a little more on how the combat system in Spider-Man will play out and work It is time to blow some of those preconceived notions on how the combat in Spider-Man is actually going to play out and handle. Way back when the game was first announced and shown off, it looks like a very tried and true method to combat was something that Insomniac Games was going to use. More or less, it looks a lot like the way it all worked in the Arkham titles, which all were really solid gameplay mechanics. While it may have looked that way, we are here to tell you that it is not going to be that way exactly for Spider-Man as he is obviously a different kind of fighter and uses many other things to his benefit in a fight. Siegfried Will Not Surrender To The Nightmare In SoulCalibur VI
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The next character for SoulCalibur VI is here to look at and it is another from SoulCalibur ’s past as Siegfried has now officially joined the roster One more of the alumni from the franchise's past is back for SoulCalibur VI now. Not a huge surprise as I am sure we will have more of the old characters mixed in with the few new ones that Bandai Namco will be working. In the end though, as long as we have a good roster with a lot of great fighters on it I do not think many will have an issue with SoulCalibur VI. Moreover, now that Siegfried has now been confirmed and ready to show what he will be bringing to the fight when the game launches later this year. Read More…

They are offered up by the dev team for a reason and they are there to make the whole experience a bit more challenging.
