Not only has the wait been long, or at least seemingly so, but it looks like Respawn is going to be bringing a whole lot more to the game to keep the Million and more players out there happy. We also have our first look at the new updates for Titanfall 2 here as well so we can see the new PvE Horde mode in action as well as the two new maps that will be coming to the game when the update goes live. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts The next world for Kingdom Hearts III has been announced out at D23 and it looks like the Kingdom Hearts franchise is finally getting a Toy Story theme We were promised new footage for Kingdom Hearts III out of D23 over the weekend and that is just what we were given during the show. Not only given but also shown a whole lot of new game that Square Enix has been working as well as the story for the new world that we are not only getting in the game, but also for the first time in the franchise. As the above image has mostly likely spoiled, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be taking us into Andy's room to hang out with Woody and Buzz as we head off into the world of Toy Story. The Lich King Is Serving Up SDCC Fun For Hearthstone: Knights Of The Frozen Throne
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of July 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Hearthstone To celebrate the upcoming Hearthstone: Knights Of The Frozen Throne expansion there will be a Hearthstone themed Ice Cream Parlor for fans of the game Yet another video game franchise is getting a nice showing out at SDCC and this one is not only for the new expansion Hearthstone: Knights Of The Frozen Throne, but it is also something much more than just a panel with a few little tidbits of gameplay and features. While I am sure that there will be some of this on site out there, it looks like Blizzard and The Lich King are teaming up to bring fans something they have wanted for a while; a new ice cream shop run by The Lich King. Not exactly what one would have expected for Hearthstone, but you can't knock the fact that they know how to bring the fans something truly run. Read More...

Paragon Gets Another Character Who Has Claws Added In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Paragon The next character to come to Paragon has been announced and it looks like Paragon will get more of the furry added into the mix Another three weeks down and another character is added into the mix for Paragon. It seems hard to believe given how many Epic Games has already thrown together for us that they are still bringing us all more, but they are. July 18th adds yet another to Paragon by the name of Zinx and if you were hoping for a more feline character to be added into the mix, then you'll be happy to see that too. Yes, this is your obligatory Cat Person that all big games like this seem to need; just like the Monkey King character as well. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Lone Echo A new trailer for Lone Echo has dropped to get us all ready for the release of Lone Echo and its multiplayer side of Echo Arena Hopefully you've taken advantage of the many great deals going on for the Oculus Rift as it looks like we have another great tittle to add into the mix with Lone Echo getting its exclusive release on the system on July 20th. This would be the latest title from Ready At Dawn that will place us all in the virtual space of…well…space as we take on the role of an astronaut's companion after some mishap takes place. By companion I'm talking a robot with our intelligence who is able to handle all the harshness that Lone Echo has to offer in way of problem solving to keep our captain alive and us still functioning. Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's Voice Cast Is Here & Ready For SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of July 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War It's time to hear who will be joining you on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War's quest, aurally, & then maybe meet the Shadow Of War VO cast at SDCC We can mark this under the "Not A Huge Surprise" list, but Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be at SDCC this year and in tow will also be the voice cast for the game that has recently been announced. Of course some of the people from Monolith Productions will also be there to talk about the game, but given the way SDCC is, it will be more about the big names linked to the game and seeing them. Shadow Of War does seem to be pulling in some of the usual folk but also some other big names from the general acting pool as well. Read More...

See How Injustice 2 Is Cooling Down Here With Sub Zero
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of July 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 Gameplay for Injustice 2's Sub Zero has been revealed and now we can see what he will be bringing to Injustice 2 this week New DLC for Injustice 2 drops this week as we get to add Sub Zero into the fighting mix of this DC hero and villain fighting game. Of course, this is not a huge surprise as NetherRealm Studios has already announced him and we all figured it was coming given Scorpion and the first Injustice title. That and we had a small tease for the character last week as we had our first look at him in Injustice 2, but now we have a whole lot of gameplay to look at and figure him out. All before July 11th when he comes to all of those season pass holders and the following week for those who just want to pick him up on his own. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 7/3/17 â 7/7/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of July 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That ends another week in video games out here and even with the slowdown due to the American holiday, it was still a pretty decent one out there. Not overflowing with news and updates, but still just enough out there to keep things flowing. I mean it was more about the updates for Horizon Zero Dawn and Shadow Of Mordor, but other video games like Assassin’s Creed Origins had quite a bit of highlight and we learned about the physical version of LawBreakers that hopefully you picked up on the PC or are waiting for the PS4 version to open up. Like I said, not too heavy and not too light at the end of the week. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Will Feature Your Greatest Nemesis From Shadow Of Mordor
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of July 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War A new update for Shadow Of Mordor has released that will carry over Nemesis & Followers to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War If you had planned on getting to start completely new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you were right to think that as before now it didn't seem like there was going to be much of a bridge besides story for this title and Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor. For most gamers this is still an option, but for those who had some great nemesis and followers from the first game it looks like Monolith Productions is going to give us the option to carry over the best of each when we spin up the new game on October 10th. Yea, you will be able to start Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War off with your best follower from before at your side fighting the good fight, while needing to be on the lookout for your greatest nemesis whom may be trying to end out their story arc. Not only one for the PC version of the game, but it looks like Boss Key Productions has set it up for the PS4 version of the game. We'll talk more on that in a moment as the main details are for the PC version of LawBreakers although there are a lot of similarities between the two. Hopefully by now you know how all of these things go and that isn't as shocking as the news that it doesn't look like there are pre-order bonuses that are usually the way things go here. Read More...

Observer Is Bringing The Hidden Horror & Catharsis 2.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Observer New gameplay for Observer from E3 has been released along with a description of how Observer is building its own sub-horror genre It looks like I missed out on Observer yet again at E3 this year, but it was only a miss by a little bit and I have recovered from it all. That is due to the fact that Bloober Team has released the gameplay that they were showing off out there at the expo, but also given the commentary as to what the end goal for the game is. Yes, Observer is another horror game set in a Cyberpunk setting, but it is using what they are calling Hidden Horror to drive the game forward instead of the high-action or pure gore that many other title rely on. Not that there is an issue with those titles, but this is not the game that we will see soon on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year. Read More...

It's Time For Some Covert Ops In Paragon When Wraith Comes In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Paragon The next hero for Paragon has been announced and it looks like he is bringing along some new stealth options for Paragon and your whole team He we go with the next hero to come to Paragon next week on June 27th. It's hard to think that we've gone another three weeks again and that Epic Games had a chance to get the new character together in the craziness that is E3 and such. None the less though, the PS4 and PC versions of Paragon will be graced with yet another hero and this one is named Wraith. Not in the spirit form the name usually means, but more in the stealth assassin style of the name. Read More...
