Green Day Rock Band Release Dated
by Brian Bentley [ Friday, 12th of March 2010 - 06:39 AM ]
Upon hearing the announcement of Green Day: Rock Band at the Video Game Awards, my face had a perplexed look that went deeper than when Jack Black pretended to freak out on stage at the beginning of the show. Completely unexpected, Harmonix chose Green Day as their follow-up band to give an exclusive title. So, the Beatles... Read More...

Macs R Dead
by Kevin [ Thursday, 11th of March 2010 - 04:45 AM ]
I think everyone saw this coming at some point. When you have a game series with such wide appeal as the Left 4 Dead series, the need to push it out to other platforms becomes fairly obvious. Though I suspect that at some point we will see this game make its way to handhelds in some form or another, this announcement deals with Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 shuffling its zombie feet to the Mac OSX through the glory of Steam for the Mac. Who Is The Last Titan Standing?
by David Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of March 2010 - 11:45 AM ]
A few weeks ago Spike TV posed this question to God of War fans all over North America with a casting call for their show God of War: The Last Titan Standing. A show that was designed to place true God of War fans into the action of the game by recreating some challenges Kratos endured in his epic story. On top of the challenges, this enabled these lucky individuals to be amongst the first in the world - sans media and the developers - to actually play God of War III. Read More...

No Shankn' way!! A New Trailer!!
by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 10th of March 2010 - 09:56 AM ]
The last time we heard anything about Shank was at PAX in Seattle, Washington where I claimed it to be the best game I played at PAX. No new news of any sorts has come out about who will partner with Klei Entertainment to bring this game to see the time of day. As reported a few days ago at shankgame. Read More...

Review: Heavy Rain
by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 9th of March 2010 - 03:37 PM ]
To every person who has ever claimed that they are all about story over game play, be prepared to put your money where your mouth is. An ambitious title from start to finish, Heavy Rain will challenge you not only on your assertions, but possibly your morality and level of immersion as well. Whether you call it “interactive media,” a “story-driven game” or “Choose Your Own Adventure gone wrong,” Heavy Rain will intrigue you enough to play it and it will elicit a reaction whether it be for good or for ill. AggroGamer Bargain Bin O' Plenty
by Kevin [ Saturday, 6th of March 2010 - 07:04 PM ]
Being a gamer can be an expensive thing - it can tend to filter out into several other avenues when-tie ins are involved. Between comic book and movie adaptations, collectible figures, side-stories on other gaming platforms, and a host of other variables - the gamer's wallet can become as barren as the landscape of Bethesda Softwork's next opus. Hold fast fellow wielder of the blessed controller, for now AggroGamer brings thee deals from beyond the veil. Read More...

Steam Coming To Mac?
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 4th of March 2010 - 08:48 AM ]
With the Game Developers Conference just a short ways away, and Valve revving everyone up for their "Big Announcement," little has been left to the imagination about what this announcement could be. Images have been surfacing from multiple sites who had received images displaying Valve characters in very "Apple like" commercials. I have attached some of the images for your viewing pleasure. Top Heads of Infinity Ward Leave
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 2nd of March 2010 - 03:07 PM ]
This morning many awoke to rumors quickly circulating the internet and news sites about prominent figures at Infinity Ward being fired by Activision, supposedly even with "bouncers" removing them from their offices. Patrick Klepek of G4's The Feed initially broke the possible story. The rumors began gaining credibility as Jason West's Linkedin page now stated he used to work for Infinity Ward and a Facebook status claimed unemployment. Read More...

Metal Tweet Solid VII: Patriot Sons of Blue Foxtail
by Kevin [ Sunday, 28th of February 2010 - 12:57 PM ]
Though Twitter has not verified the account, those that have been following the Tweets of this account have been thoroughly convinced that Hideo Kojima has found his way into Twitter. Kojima has been doing his thing on Twitter for a few days now, and it's worth the translation effort just to walk along with him. There have been several tweets that provide evidence that it is in fact him as such his view from the top for instance. Read More...
