H1Z1 Is Bringing More Battle Royale To The PS4 Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
H1Z1 The original standalone battle royale game, H1Z1, is coming to the PS4 soon and there will be a closed beta for H1Z1 coming this May For those PS4 gamers out there who felt like they have been missing out on the H1Z1 fun and need another Battle Royale title to add into the mix, as it is getting closer to a full launch now on the platform. I say this as Daybreak Games has not announced a solid release date for the game to come, but we have open and closed betas coming at us here real soon so we should expect a final build just around the corner. At least if this version of H1Z1 goes anything like the PC version. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Detroit It is official that Detroit: Become Human has gone gold and gamers will have a chance to demo Detroit: Become Human well before its launch The headline says most of it, but Detroit: Become Human has officially gone gold and is definitely set to release on May 25th for the PS4. Not that many had any worry that Quantic Dream would not be hitting the mark on this one, but now it is completely secured and all on the manufacturing side of things. They all have a month to "print" all of those physical versions of Detroit: Become Human and for those waiting to actually pick up the digital version of the game that can be pre-ordered right now. No worries on that side unless something insane happens in the next month or so. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Detroit A new behind-the-scenes video for Detroit: Become Human is here to show a bit more on the technology that was created to bring us Detroit: Become Human If you could not tell by the headline here, this is going to be a behind-the-scenes heavy update for Detroit: Become Human as we are diving further into all of the technology that will be bringing us the game on May 25th and less of what we will actually be getting to experience. It is a tradeoff we have to do every now and then and this time we are looking more at the hard work Quantic Dream has put in here than actual gameplay. Kingdom Hearts III Is Bringing Some Game & Watch Mini-Games With It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More...

All of which will be hitting Star Wars Battlefront II on April 18th for the low price of free. Well at least if you already own the core game on the PC, PS4, or Xbox One before or during the time this limited event runs. Read More...

It Is Time To Go Behind The Music Of Detroit: Become Human
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Detroit New information on the music for Detroit: Become Human is here and we get to hear how three different composers are setting the mood in Detroit: Become Human When it comes to having three different characters in Detroit: Become Human, the team over at Quantic Dream wanted them each to feel a bit different from each other to help emphasize the story and world. That is the base assumption from the start. Given that they are taking the story and storytelling method for Detroit: Become Human down the same path as that of feature films or television, they would need a way to help focus on differences between them all subtlety. Overkillâs The Walking Dead Next Character Is Here To Break Hearts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The next character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead game has a new trailer to see and it shows another darker side in the world of The Walking Dead It is time to add another character to Overkill’s The Walking Dead and here we go with Maya. Just like the last character that we were shown from Overkill, it is all done through a very cinematic manner and not through any real gameplay to look at. Not that I am going to complain as this one certainly embodies The Walking Dead universe with another tragic survival story told without any words but actions. More or less, the backstory of Maya that we can look to experience when we get to finally play the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Fall. Read More...

The Walking Dead: The Final Season Will Be Shaking Up The Usual Formula A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead New gameplay for The Walking Dead: The Final Season was shown off during PAX East and it looks to change some of the gameplay for The Walking Dead that we knew During PAX East there was a nice little panel that went into a bit more for The Walking Dead: The Final Season. Not the most hidden of information as Telltale Games made sure we all knew about it and had a chance to watch it from the comfort of our own homes if we were not able to attend the event this year. It was nice of them and definitely caught the eye of many fans of The Walking Dead out there. Unfortunately for those who could not make their way out there in general, you had to miss out on things even if you did catch most of the panel as it was streamed live. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War The Gold and War Chest aspect of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War will be going away and you now have a limited time to use them all in Shadow Of War If you were really into spending real-world money to boost things in Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, then you may need to get on that bandwagon a little more as it will be going away. Well, at least the Gold and War Chest aspect of the game is going away as Monolith Productions is pulling the plug on it and keeping the game flowing in all of the other ways. So if you like shelling out that money to get virtual things in Shadow Of War, get on that as it goes away On May 8th when the next big update for the game is coming. Read More...

Deathgarden Is Bringing Us Another Dystopian Blood Sport Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Deathgarden We have another asymmetrical action title, Deathgarden, on its way as Deathgarden is given the full announcement and gameplay to be available at PAX East As if the world was not already grim enough, we have another sad look at the future with Deathgarden getting a full announcement and looking to bring more asymmetrical action to our PCs. That all sounded pretty grim there for the game, so let me be clear that I am talking about the new game Behaviour is working on that is placing us in the role of someone in a grim future. A grim future that we can experience from our seats and have a good time with. Read More...

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Edenâs First Gameplay Is Here To Bring Us In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of March 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Mutant Year Zero The first gameplay demo for Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden is here and it gives us a lot more to go on for Mutant Year Zero than we could have hoped for Earlier in the month we saw Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden get all announced and everything but only had a cinematic trailer to go on to get a feel for what the game would truly be bringing. It looked amazing, but from the description that came with it, it did not feel like the same game that The Bearded Ladies were working on and aiming to give us. Not in a bad way, but the description was more tactical-adventure while the video looked more plain adventure in a weird setting. Read More...
