by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a fun week in terms of video games. They always seem to be and I know we will all take it. Why would we not? I mean, this week we had a whole lot more for Fallout 76 and the upcoming Spider-Man game we are looking forward to. We had some great teases for games to come here soon out of Gamescom and such like Metro Exodus. To top it all off, we had a new review for the latest episode of The Council. Read More...

Join In On The Devastation Of Rotterdam In Battlefield V
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Battlefield A new look at Battlefield V is here before Gamescom to show us a new location we will be running and gunning around in Battlefield V Gamescom may still be a little ways out, but that will not stop us from getting trailers early-ish as we have here for Battlefield V. It is usually how it always is for these kinds of things to get us all pumped to stand in lines to play the next subsection DICE has for us for the game wherever EA is showing it off at. You should know how it is now and it will continue for Battlefield V until October 11th when we all will be playing it and the teams move on to the downloadable content, updates, and the inevitable next title in the franchise launching next year. Unless they choose to take an extra year to make a bigger game for us all. Read More...

Things Are Getting Darker In Overkillâs The Walking Dead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of August 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead It looks like Overkill’s The Walking Dead is heading to Gamescom and with that means we are getting a look at a new area in their take on The Walking Dead We will soon be treated with more for Overkill’s The Walking Dead as it looks like the developer is heading out to Gamescom here in the coming weeks and unsurprisingly bringing its gameplay with it. Not too shocking given that Overkill just showed the first bit off at E3 here and it was met with a whole lot of positive responses in general. Hells, we even loved the hells out of this take on The Walking Dead and are glad to see more gamers are going to get to check it out before launch. Read More...

Silence Will Ring The Loudest In The Quiet Man
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of August 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
The Quiet Man New details for The Quiet Man are here as well as a look at how The Quiet Man will blend live-action and CG in this action game We finally have some solid details on The Quiet Man after the title was announced during E3 in a very strange way. All it seemed like we had was a live-action trailer with a little bit of gameplay mixed in. As it turns out, that was actually all "gameplay" from Human Head Studios as they are aiming to bring us a mix of live-action film mixed with third-person action gameplay to seamlessly tell us a nice little narrative. Little in terms of The Quiet Man spanning only one in-game night and only taking us about three hours to complete from start to end. Read More...

The Walking Dead has been one of the IPs they have tackled insanely well so far so the bar is set rather high. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week is now over and we can go back to focusing on playing our video games instead of hunting down for any new tidbit for them. At least on our side of the screen here. Not that it has not been exciting hearing more about The Walking Dead and Darksiders III, but it is finally time to let loose. How else are we supposed to get up to date with our South Park DLC and hammering out more for Shadow Of War? Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of August 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Just ahead of the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season, we have the chance to rebuild Clem’s story in The Walking Dead so we can carry on We are yet another day closer to The Walking Dead: The Final Season kicking off and just in case you have missed out on all of the fun from before, Telltale Games is offering up another chance to get in on it all. You could just pre-order and buy the bundle that gives you all of the episodes in the story so far, but that would require one epic binge of the franchise. Not that doing so is not worth it, this version of The Walking Dead has totally been worth it, but some of us do not have the time. Read More...

More Of The Surviving Class Of The Walking Dead: The Final Season Is Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Have another look at some of the cast of The Walking Dead: The Final Season and see what class of survivor will be waiting in this part of The Walking Dead We have had a few teases already of the new cast we will be seeing in The Walking Dead: The Final Season and it looks like many of them will be around Clem's age for once. That is all assumptions based on what we have seen before from Telltale Games for this season as we have yet to experience more than that and what little we do have in the latest Demo for the game. August 14th is only so far away and it is time to get to know some of these characters we will see added into The Walking Dead universe here and that day is today. Read More...

Fear The Wolvesâ Early Access Has Been Pushed Back A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of July 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Fear The Wolves The Early Access for Fear The Wolves has been pushed back a bit as the closed beta for Fear The Wolves found a few things that needed work If you were looking forward to the Early Access for Fear The Wolves to hit our PCs, then you will need to take a seat as it looks like it has been pushed back just a bit. It has been pushed back from July 18th to sometime this Summer as Vostok Games wanted to put some extra work into the game before Focus Home Interactive dropped it out there for order or purchase. It does not sound like there is anything completely wrong with Fear The Wolves, but the closed beta that recently concluded did have some things that were not up to their wants and needs so it was pushed.
