by Duke Searles [ Friday, 16th of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Fe The story and fun of Fe is finally here as the game has launched and for those still not sure on Fe, we also have another trailer to suck us in The day has finally come and Fe is here for our PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and/or PC. I know I have been waiting for this beautiful 3D platformer from Zoink since I first caught wind of it all and now I am glad to see that it has finally launched. To go along with all of that, EA has also provided us with a brand new trailer to watch for Fe to get all of you still on the bench up and ready to give the game a try. It does have the beauty of some other great titles like Journey in there and has us taking a small creature through an adventure to save all of the woodlands and connect all of us a bit closer through sound. It looks like Konami is bringing us all yet another "beta test" of the game shortly before launch. I put the quotes there as it is most likely going to be more of an early demo of Metal Gear Survive and not a true beta test. Read More...

Fear The Wolves Brings Another Post-Apocalyptic Battle Royale Game In 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Fear The Wolves A new battle royale title, Fear The Wolves, has been announced and Fear The Wolves looks to bring many gamers into the multiplayer world It looks like we are going to have yet another Battle Royale game added into the mix here as Fear The Wolves has been given the full announcement treatment and heading to our PS4, Xbox One, and PCs sometime in 2018. That seems to be like a broken record that is getting played here for Focus Home Interactive titles now. Not a horrible thing as Vostok Games has been working on Fear The Wolves for a while before the official announcement out at the “Le What’s Next de Focus” event that is going on, but it is still something I am taking note of. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week in the bag and a whole lot going on for all of our video games yet again. Also a lot more on the positive side of the coin this week and not as many sad points. Sure, Red Dead Redemption 2 is now delayed until October of this year, but that does not take away from the fact that we have so many other things going on. Like the fact that Extinction now has a set date and some great pre-order bonuses or that we had some great new DLC drop for Wolfenstein II. Read More...

Red Dead Redemption A delay has hit Red Dead Redemption 2 but now we have a new solid date to expect Red Dead Redemption 2 to launch on as well as some new screenshots The wait continues for Red Dead Redemption 2, but now we have a new solid release date for the game. As is usually the reason given for delays, it looks like Rockstar Games needs some more time to "polish" the game a bit more. Yes, the same polish excuse as usual. That said, we can now look for Red Dead Redemption 2 to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 26th now. Read More...

Cold Iron We sit down and review Cold Iron. A VR take on the old-west showdown style of gameplay across different worlds. Here is our review of Cold Iron If there is one thing that VR is good for it is putting you in a different world doing things that you normally could not get to do in real life and that is something that Cold Iron is aiming to do. Pun totally intended. For those who have missed the memo over the last stretch of time, this is Catch & Release's latest title for the PS VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift. Read More...

Paragon Sad news comes as Paragon will be shut down in April but there is a bit of a silver lining for those fans of Paragon who spent a lot on the game Sad news for those fans of Paragon out there, as it looks like the MOBA will be getting shut down this April. After many discussions and debates, it looks like Epic Games has opted to finally pull the plug for the game on April 26th on both the PC and PS4 platforms. This has come as a shock to many players of Paragon but it is all happening nonetheless. It just looks like the game was not what the team wanted to deliver nor was it something that they saw as a viable addition to the genre. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of January 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Beat Saber A new rhythm VR title, Beat Saber, has more to show off and it looks like Beat Saber is going to be mix of some other great titles all rolled into one If you were sitting around hoping that someone would combine Guitar Hero, Fruit Ninja, and an iconic weapon from a huge Sci-Fi franchise, then you are in luck as it looks like Beat Saber will answer that hope. It may sound like a lot to take in there, but this is a new VR title that Hyperbolic Magnetism is working on for the Oculus, Vive, and PS VR systems that will give you a blend of all of that. The rhythm of GH, the slashiness of Fruit Ninja, and all with lightsabers of sorts to keep the custom music flowing and your beat bouncing in tune. Read More...
