by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Ghostbusters A new trailer for the new Ghostbusters video games has been released and we get to see just how the Ghostbusters will answer the call The new Ghostbusters comes out this week and looks like it is doing well in the reviews so far but just in case you want a bit to tide you over until Friday the new game based around the new story's event is here. That's right, Activision and Sony have brought their latest addition into the video game portion of the franchise to us and it is linked a bit and out now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully this version of Ghostbusters isn't just a cheap tie-in for the film even though that has always been the concern since it was first announced. Read More...

A New Ghostbusters Title Announced & It Ties Into The Film
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of April 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Ghostbusters Another Ghostbusters video game will be making its way to us all and it so happens to tie into the new Ghostbusters out this July Yep, as you guessed it or read it there is a new Ghostbusters game coming to us all just in time for the new film. Of course since this is all based on our collective love of the 80s it is also coming from Activision as well; although the actual developer has been left nameless at this time. None the less we are getting a new Ghostbusters video game here on July 12th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Also as it seems it is a tie-in title too so now we can all begin with a bit of the groaning… Alright, now simmer down as it looks like this Ghostbusters isn't going to be an exact film tie-in but more or less a continuation. Ghostbusters Heading Into A Sanctum Of Slime
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of December 2010 - 02:03 PM ]
With Ghostbusters: The Videogame selling over a million copies, it looks like Atari decided to milk our childhoods for more money by having Wanako Studios, a studio owned by the makers of Naughty Bear, slop together another game in the franchise. From these preliminary views, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is going to play just like Alien Breed or Dead Nation with a coat of Ghostbusters paint on it. A 3/4 view running around an area aiming proton beams to wrangle up all the unsavory specters. Maybe they will include the purple slime from the second film in some way. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of July 2009 - 11:22 AM ]
Ghostbusters LPB Costumes Last week one of the fun little things announced for LittleBigPlanet was the addition of a cool little Ghostbusters costume for the game. Well a few of them, but we only got a glimpse of one. You know, the ghost logo guy. look it up on your own time if you don't remember. Well this morning, from the official PlayStation blog, a screen of all four of the costumes you will be able to get this Thursday was just placed for our viewing pleasure. That and a few user created tributes to the film using existing stickers and creation tool stuff and the music video for Ghostbusters. A nice little fun tribute from them for the film too. Who Ya Gunna Call?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of July 2009 - 12:38 PM ]
LBP Ghostbusters So we all knew it was inevitable. With the new BluRay and video game out for the Ghostbusters franchise. Now they are invading the LittleBigPlanet world. Well at least we can assume that with the below image from the PlayStation Blog. No official word has been given about it yet, the blog post is just the image and the phrase "Who Ya Gunna Call?" on it. But it is probably safe to assume that we will be getting the close to racist looking Sack Boy in our LBP sometime in the not to distant future. Read More...

Ghostly Multiplayer Madness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of May 2009 - 07:04 PM ]
Ghostbusters Game Trailer It makes total sense for this game to have a multiplayer aspect to it. Albeit, limited to four people multiplayer, but multiplayer none the less. What fun would it be if you could only have one of the Busters active by a player at a time? Especially with the others possibly being run by an AI that could be poor. Don't need another Sheva incident, if you know what I mean. The below video shows off all the fun madness of the multiplayer, as well as some of the new weapons and enemies for the Ghostbusters world. Read More...

Is Activision Blizzard canning games?
by Nikole [ Tuesday, 29th of July 2008 - 04:35 PM ]
The newly formed duo of Activision Blizzard has presented there schedule of releases. While many titles were mentioned, several highly publicized games received none whatsoever. Terminal Reality, 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand and most notably: Ghostbusters, were all absent from the list. The lack of these titles, as well as massive "realignments" with the staff of High Moon Studio and Radical Entertainment, is leading many to wonder if some titles and studios are being dropped because of the merger. It is already known that Massive Entertainment and Swordfish Studios are being considered for sale or closure at this time. The situation was made even more grim when the company released information stating several titles would be dropped. Read More...
