Here We Go With Mass Effect: Andromeda's 1.05 Patch
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect What does Mass Effect: Andromeda look like with less bugs? Hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda's latest patch will show us Tomorrow (4/6) BioWare’s 1.05 patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available. Down below I’ll leave a link to BioWare’s blog post with the patch notes since I’m going to only gloss over the big ones, and for the fact, I don’t play the multiplayer. The first patch note if “Improved Tutorial Placement” which to me seems odd since I don’t know how they could improve that and what was wrong with it. The opening for Mass Effect: Andromeda was very clunky in every aspect of the word but I felt that was more of a story problem than any oddly placed tutorials. Read More...

Review â Bear With Me: Episode One
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 4th of April 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Slime-San We sit down and review Bear With Me: Episode One. Dive in to the detective thriller of the century. Here's our review of Bear With Me: Episode One Bear With Me: Episode One has been pretty much an obsession for me. I’ve had rocky experiences with point and click adventure games over the years. Some are so simple it’s not even fun, then some are masochistically hard from making no logical sense. Why would kicking over a rock in the garden, causing you to stumble back, fall into the pool so that the sun can bounce off the waves, and that somehow blinds the cat causing him to jump from his perch on top the coat rack and brush the lock on the door to open it? Injustice 2 Is Letting The Cat Out Of The Bag Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of April 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new look at Injustice 2's Catwoman is here for us all and we get to see how she uses her pets in Injustice 2 to fight dirty Over the weekend there was a fun Injustice 2 April Fools joke of the Wonder Twins being added into the game. So far it has been confirmed that this is a joke from NetherRealm Studios but I wouldn't put it past them for future DLC. That of course is not why we are here though. I'm going to venture a guess that Injustice 2 will have another character shown off this week but as of right now it is time to dig deeper into one that has been part of the roster for a while. Injustice 2 Shows Us The Bad, The Worse, & The Fear Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new Injustice 2 video shows off some of the villains already announced for Injustice 2 but also shows off another new villain in the mix It's Thursday again and that seems to mean that Injustice 2 will have another character revealed or at least a showcasing of a few characters that have already been revealed. Today though, it looks like NetherRealm Studios has doubled down on all of that and has given a showing of some already announced characters in the roster but also show off one that has yet to be shown; but was on that rumored list for so long. It's time to have a look at Grodd, Bane, Captain Cold, and the latest villain to join the rouge's gallery for Injustice 2; Scarecrow. Read More...

Review â Mass Effect: Andromeda
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. We've had some time and now we delve into a full review of Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello again Mass Effect fans. Welcome to my review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I won’t take much time discussing bugs and things I covered in my first impressions article, but I will get the bad out of the way first. If you’re going to pick this game up then get a can of Raid with it because the bugs are plentiful. One experience I had was on a mission you get from Vetra. Read More...

Get Ready To Launch Some Fools With Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Bulletstorm A launch trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition has been released to show us even more on how Bulletstorm has been upgraded and worth our time and money again In case you forgot, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be launching on April 7th here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We've brought this up before as this is the remastered version of People Can Fly's insane, bullet-hell driven title from a while back that had a nice little following for it. It's been given a bit of a tune up and a fresh coat of paint and will soon be out there for everyone to drive around like an asshole if they wish. That is not a testament to what I think of Bulletstorm mind you, just a fitting description of how it all came together again based on the titles themes and setting. Read More...

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's Next Episode Is Above The Law
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead The launch trailer for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier's third episode has finally been released as soon we can see how this part of The Walking Dead plays out Last week we had a nice little tease for the third episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. It showed off a nice little bit of what we could expect in this episode but also looked like it was very focused on the pre-end history of Javier's and little more than that. This week it looks like Telltale Games has given us all the launch trailer for the episode, it still launches on March 28th though, and it definitely goes down a path a bit of a different path than previously thought; all of which in a good way. I had little doubt that this version of The Walking Dead would leave us hanging in a weird spot. Read More...

Another From The House Of El Shatters Injustice 2's Alliances Further
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 The third Shattered Alliances trailer for Injustice 2 has dropped and it places Super Girl at odds with Injustice 2's other heroes even further Here we go with our third installment of the Shattered Alliances trailers for Injustice 2 and this one is all about Super Girl and her role in the epic fight(s) that are to come. It even looks like we are going to be getting a few call backs to the House Of El's past here from NetherRealm Studios based on this trailer which I hope will point to the bigger bad guy that has yet to have much focus; Brainiac. He's in Injustice 2 and affects the whole story somehow, but as it seems right now it has all been about the heroes of the DC universe dealing with the aftermath of the first Injustice story. Frank Rises This Spring In Dead Rising 4 As We Hit The Links⦠& Zombies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Dead Rising 4 New details and images for Dead Rising 4's next bit of DLC that gives us a zombie version of Frank to play in Dead Rising 4 as well as some new golfing I hope you are ready for some more Dead Rising 4 DLC to get added into the mix for the game now as we have a look at what is coming to us on April 4th now. I know that hasn't been a lot of time to enjoy the game for all of you PC gamers out there, but for those Xbox One fans it looks like Capcom is going to give you even more reasons to keep playing outside of the time of year that the game is set in. In fact, with this new DLC for Dead Rising 4 we are going to get a rather nice bit of extra story to play as we see our favorite character down in the dumps further. Read More...

First Impressions â Mass Effect: Andromeda
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game just came out but here's some quick reasons to buy or not buy Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello, dear readers. This is more of a first impression than an actual review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I picked this game up early and due to my schedule at the beginning of writing this, I am only about five hours into the game. I also played this pre-patch, but I do realize as time goes on and patches get released from BioWare it may render some of these observations irrelevant. I felt this was pertinent information to let you know as I will have a complete review for Mass Effect: Andromeda sometime following this one, but to also let you know how this Mass Effect is right now if you are wary about picking it up due to the ‘animation’ controversy. Injustice 2's Cheetah Is Out For Amazon Blood In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of March 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
An official Injustice 2 gameplay trailer for Cheetah has been released and now we can see just how she will play in Injustice 2 if we learn well We've seen Cheetah a few times before for Injustice 2 already, but now we get to see her in full action and not some of the slower gameplay used to show off her moves and specials as we've seen. Those videos and streams from NetherRealm Studios, while informative, can be a little on the slower side for characters like Cheetah how look to be very fast-paced when all is said and done. At least that would be my take away here from the new Injustice 2 trailer that we have just below. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 3/13/17 â 3/17/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Another week done and even more video games to look and have enjoyed. This was a rather upbeat week for it all as well now wasn't it? We had plenty of new stuff out of PAX East to look at like the new stuff for Friday The 13th and the next episode of The Walking Dead. We were also able to see Injustice 2 add Firestorm to the ranks for us. To top it off we also had a wonder review out there for Styx: Shards Of Darkness. Read More...

This Is How Source Crystals For Injustice 2 Work & Not Make It Pay To Win
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 We have some new information on Injustice 2's Source Crystals and what they do as well as a good look at Injustice 2's version of Firestorm now We are back again with more Injustice 2 new and updates and while this isn't anything in lines with a new character reveal, we do have a new look at just how character customization and Source Crystals will work in the game. Source Crystal being the in-game currency for those who want to make their specific characters have a look and feel other than what NetherRealm Studios has provided out the gate. Also for those who want to have some of those premier skins in Injustice 2 without needing to buy the larger bundles of the game before May 16th. Read More...

It's Time To Meet Drack In Mass Effect: Andromeda & Have More Gameplay
by Julia Thompson [ Wednesday, 15th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect Another member of Mass Effect: Andromeda's Pathfinder team has been given the introduction as well as a lot of Mass Effect: Andromeda spoiler gameplay Another day and even more Mass Effect: Andromeda news and updates. This time around we have not only a new look and introduction to another character in the game, but given that it is launching on March 21st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, we also have a nice little visual breakdown for the game. All of that and it also looks like BioWare was nice enough to spoil the opening to Mass Effect: Andromeda here for those who just can't wait until next week to get the game in their hands. Read that as we have gameplay of the opening mission to the game as well as some of the cut-scenes that go along with all of that. Read More...
