E3 Hands On â World War Z
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of June 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
World War Z While at E3, I was able to see World War Z in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on World War Z. Leading up to E3 this year there has been so very little shown or discussed for World War Z. It was teased back in December during the Game Awards, but since then there has not been much out of Saber Interactive on what the game will actually house and look like. I mean, it is a World War Z game so we can make easy assumptions as to what it would look like, but nothing much as to how it would actually play. That is why it was so very nice of them to bring it out to play during the show and give us all a better understanding of what the game will truly hold. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
World War Z A new gameplay trailer for World War Z is here to show us how Moscow has been faring in the ongoing World War Z events It has been a good bit of time since we last saw or heard anything for World War Z. Last we had just the announcement that Paramount was tapping Saber Interactive to make the game and we saw pretty much a game engine version of the film so far. Now it is back and taking us to Moscow to show how they are faring in the fight against the undead in the World War Z universe. Spoiler alert, they are doing just about as well as everyone else when the world is taken over by fast zombies that can climb walls and buildings as insects and other vermin. Read More...

Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn Is Coming For You This Spring
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of February 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Shaq-Fu We can look forward to Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn to hit us this Spring as it takes on the horrible game from 1994 that spawned it, Shaq-Fu It looks like some games franchises just never stay dead as now we can look to see Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn coming to the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC this Spring. We are not talking about a remaster of the old 1994 title that was utter garbage during the time of everyone having a video game out there. We are talking about a sequel to that game from Big Deez Productions and Saber Interactive. Read More...

More Zombies Are Coming As World War Z Gets Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of December 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
World War Z During The Game Awards last night, World War Z, was announced so we could further diving into the world of World War Z with new stories If you were watching The Game Awards last night then you most likely saw the nice little tease for World War Z. Not the next film from Paramount, but the new video game coming to us from Saber Interactive. It is all set in the World War Z film universe, but other than that it does not seem to be linked to anything we have seen thus far. We already lived that story and do not need to go through it again in game form on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Review: Inversion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of July 2012 - 11:55 AM ]
Inversion is a game I've been extremely hyped for since I first saw it at E3 2011. It's an action 3rd person shooter that allows you to also use gravity as a weapon, amongst other things, to fight your way through a post-alien-invasion world. Sounds new and interesting, but with a sneaky release date during this year's E3 how good could the game be? Well let me give you my ten cents on Inversion. Story Everything seems nice and normal for Davis and Leo, the main characters for the game, until out of nowhere an invasion from what is a human "alien" invasion. Read More...

Inversion Lets You Co-Op With More Than Gravity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of August 2011 - 03:09 PM ]
As if manipulating gravity for your own needs in Inversion wasn't advantage enough, you can also have a buddy in the mix doing the same thing. Given the story of the game, I can understand why co-op fits in. Saving the day is more than a one-person job, even for Davis - the main character. I get that. Though, for far as a game goes, it just seems like it may be too much firepower on your side compared to the challenge of the main Campaign Mode. I was able to make it through the E3 demo of the game not firing a single shot from anything but the gravity gun without much of an issue. Read More...

Inversion Shows How You Don't Miss Gravity Until It's Gone
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of April 2011 - 01:26 PM ]
Man this is so true. I don't know how many times I've been caught with the dilemma of missing gravity. Oh wait, that's never happened. But then again I live in the real world where we don't have aliens trying to invade by shutting off our laws of physics. But could you only imagine? Of course you can't. Speaking of being invaded by aliens who can mess with all of the laws here, and from the looks bestow that ability, there is a new trailer for Inversion. It is all pre-rendered stuff, but it does give a small glimpse of what the basic story of the game will be. Read More...

A Cloverfiled Look At Inversion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of April 2011 - 12:02 PM ]
A few months ago I brought you a look at Inversion, Namco's upcoming game that give you use over the fundamental forces of gravity. There was a teaser. There were a few screen shots. There was even a Feb 7th 2012 date given for the game. Fun stuff… Looks like the early promotions are continuing, only this time it has nothing really all that new for the game. Maybe a bit of what is going on with the story, but even that can't be fully seen here. It's like the beginning of Heroes then moves into some crazy Cloverfield shots. Read More...

New Inversion Screens Show How To Command Gravity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of February 2011 - 12:12 PM ]
So here is a title that has seemed to fall through the cracks of my press releases. The game is called Inversion and it is being developed by Saber Interactive and Namco. Maybe because it was suppose to come out sometime last year and then got pushed under a rug. Maybe it is because things have been silent since GamesCom 2010 and a 2011 delay announced. I don't know, but it is now slated to hit selves February 7th 2012 and from what is being shown right now, the game has snagged a bit of my attention. Here's the story for those not in the know like I was: You take on the role of a young father and husband, Davis Russel, who finds himself thrust into war when his peaceful city is invaded by an unknown enemy.
