Let Us Talk About Addiction And Video Games
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 24th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Video Games All of us can be addicted to video games so let's discuss the Neil Robertson case and video games A news story that’s been popping up all day is of former world Snooker champion Neil Robertson’s addiction to video games. Some games like Dark Souls do have a strange addictive tendency with the rewarding sensation giving to a player after a long hard fought victory. I’m not a student of psychology though and this topic has been brought up enough over the years I have looked into it. My conclusion is that it’s not the video games that are addicting; it’s generally dependent on the type of person you are. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of 2017's video games in the bag and as it has seemed every week so far, it was a huge one. So many things popped up and so many things have yet to be discussed on the site here. We saw a whole lot more for Injustice 2's fighters, we're getting ever so ready for Prey, There was a whole lot for Friday The 13th, and then we had the Call Of Duty: WWII bombshell dropped. All of which means that next week is going to be pretty much off the hook when it comes to all things video games. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with one more week of video games in the bag. As it seems every week for quite some time now, it too was a pretty solid week in news and updates for us over here. We had a massive drop of information for Injustice 2, a lot more gameplay for Prey and Outlast 2, and then there was the plethora of reviews again with Bulletstorm getting into the mix there. These were only a small taste of the video games we had a chance to get to as well, but that is how these weeks seem to usually go. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has sure been some amazing week for video games now hasn't it? Not only for the industry but also for us over here as it was another heavy review week with things from Horizon Zero Dawn to The Walking Dead and a few others in between. We also had a lot of cool things to see for Injustice 2 again and more for Prey as both of those titles get even closer to releasing next month. More video games to play and not enough time to do it. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with yet another week in video games in the bag. A nice strong week at that as we started out with a great review for Mass Effect: Andromeda and still managed to not have any of the April Fool's Day bullshit mixed in. I can't talk about tomorrow or the following days but maybe we'll see something great for Injustice 2 or Prey for some reason. That is unless all of this week's updates and news for our video games was a huge prank and then we could call it all a wash and start over. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Another week done and even more video games to look and have enjoyed. This was a rather upbeat week for it all as well now wasn't it? We had plenty of new stuff out of PAX East to look at like the new stuff for Friday The 13th and the next episode of The Walking Dead. We were also able to see Injustice 2 add Firestorm to the ranks for us. To top it off we also had a wonder review out there for Styx: Shards Of Darkness. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more grueling week of video games in the bag here and it was yet another one filled with all kinds of fun. We had some of the aftermath of GDC to still filter through here as well as the start of PAX East and soon SXSW. Those are just the conventions for all these video games at that as we also saw a whole lot for Injustice 2 and Mass Effect: Andromeda flow out here this week. Also we have official word on when Outlast 2 and Styx: Shards Of Darkness will finally be hitting our homes. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Thus concludes another week covering all those video games. It's been another doozy of a week but now we get to sit back and relax and play all of those games we've been talking about again. Sitting and wait for those video games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect: Andromeda to come out here in the next week or two. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new Resident Evil: Vendetta trailer has been released and it looks like we'll have more Resident Evil this Summer in the way of this CG film It's only been assumed up to now but it looks like Resident Evil: Vendetta will be coming state-side this Summer. Not only that, but it looks like it will also be getting a nationwide theatrical release as well. Just another way to get more of our beloved Capcom IP here now. This should be relatively great news for all of those Resident Evil fans out there as that puts it all at one major title release, a plethora of add-on and DLC releases, and two theatrical releases for the franchise. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of February 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site That puts another wrap on another week of video games out there. Another pretty solid one again even though it was obvious which titles wanted to dominate the week. Looking at you Horizon Zero Dawn. But just because there was so much on that one title doesn't mean there wasn't a lot more on many other video games out there. We did get to see a bit for Injustice 2 and a nice update for Psychonauts 2. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of February 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site This week of video games totally felt a little skewed now didn't it? Between For Honor and Horizon Zero Dawn it almost felt like there were no other huge announcements or news to have been had. Of course we did as Resident Evil 7 had its first batch of DLC launch out there and then we had another character added into the mix for Injustice 2. There were also a few good recaps from titles that were shown off or discussed at PAX South and many other things. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site One more week of video games in the bag and yet again we had a whole lot to talk about here. So many great announcements and updates where had as well as a few new games getting their official launch or heading into a form of beta or another. Of course there was a whole lot for Resident Evil 7 this week due to all of this but that is not to discount the Injustice 2 news and the fact that we are all gearing up for the Conan Exiles early access next week. That and the upcoming Ghost Recon Wildlands "beta" that will also be getting the kick off there as well. Read More...
