It Is Almost Time To Survive The Hostile World Of Seeking Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Seeking Dawn Just before the launch of Seeking Dawn, we have a nice bit of gameplay to let us see what to expect when we play Seeking Dawn in VR Next week on July 12th we are going to see the launch of Seeking Dawn on the various VR platforms we have out there. This would be the next title in the list of Multiverse Inc's works and we have all seen so very little for it so far. So little, in fact, we now have the first gameplay footage for Seeking Dawn to look at and take it to see if we are going to be adding it to the list of our HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, or PlayStation VR titles next week. A fairly quick turnaround for all of this, but it may just pay off if you like to explore new worlds, see new creatures, and shoot everything in sight to make sure you can find your lost team on the unexplored planet. E3 Hands On â Arcaâs Path
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Arca’s Path While at E3, I was able to see Arca’s Path in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Arca’s Path. In the mix of all the hustle and bustle of E3 sometimes you yearn for a break and some other title out there to ground you back out and that was where Arca’s Path comes in here. I am going to go on a limb and say that a lot of you most likely have not heard of the game as of yet but it was on the list of VR titles that I wanted to check out during the show. It is a new title that Dream Reality Interactive has crafted for us and another "smaller" title that Rebellion has put themselves behind to bring to the PSVR, Oculus, and Vive sometime soon. Beat Saber It has now been announced that Beat Saber will be making the leap to consoles with Beat Saber launching on the PSVR platform now It is now official that Beat Saber will be heading over to the PS4 to be played on the PSVR at some point. The announcement that Hyperbolic Magnetism will be bringing the game to the platform came out as part of the PrE3 announcements that were coming to the PlayStation. It was also kind of a given that Beat Saber would be heading over as it was originally listed as "coming to consoles" back when we first heard the announcement, but now it is official. At least as official as it can be given that it is still in an Early Access stage for the Oculus and Vive versions for the game that released a little over a month ago. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tetris Effect A new VR title is coming with Tetris Effect and Tetris Effect looks to turn the core gameplay into a 3D, immersive experience The first of the PrE3 announcements that we were promised by Son is here and it all starts off with Tetris Effect. A new title coming from Enhance Experience and looking to take this "effect" and bring it to us all in a new way on the PS4 and PSVR. That is right, Tetris Effect will have PSVR support included in at launch and we can play this traditionally 2D game in a full 3D environment. As if we did not have enough to already worry about with the dropping of blocks and clearing of lines. Read More...

Dive Deeper Into Dreams With Some New Gameplay Video
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 21st of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Dreams New footage for Dreams has been uploaded to show off were the game has evolved to just before E3 so we can get fully prepared for our Dreams there You can tell we are getting closer to E3 as we start to see more gameplay and B-Roll popping up online just as we have here for Dreams today. Although this all seems to come hot on the heels of Media Molecule showing the game off to multiple different outlets out there but also in preparation for E3. Nonetheless, we have more to look at for Dreams here and it truly shows off how pretty much anyone out there will be able to make their own levels and "games" once it all comes to the PS4. There is still no release date for the game but we also have another little update for the game that came along with this gameplay footage. Read More...

Live Out Many Of Those Secret Agent Fantasies With Defector
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Defector A new VR game is coming, Defector, that will try and let you live out the secret agent lifestyle and try not to be a Defector Get ready to be able to live out some of those cray spy movie fantasies as a new VR title is coming to give you just that and it is called Defector. Probably not the best of names to go with for a title that aims to do the whole spy thing, but maybe Twisted Pixel has some great hidden gems in there to make sense of it all. They generally are good at that and maybe Defector does not point at the character we are playing and that of who were are hunting down or trying to find. I am getting off topic now as the speculation wheels are turning. Read More...

The Zombies Are Coming So Get Ready To Throw Anything
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Throw Anything A new VR experience, Throw Anything, is coming to our homes soon and we can get a taste of what to expect here for Throw Anything right now If there is one thing that gamers love with VR it has to be zombies and weird experiences with them. At least that has to be the thought here with Throw Anything that is coming from VisualLight. I mean, Throw Anything is a new VR title heading to Early Access on February 28th here that will place us in a high-rise room that has zombies climbing up to it and our only defense is to literally do what the title of the game says. Thankfully, said title also means that we can indeed hurl anything and everything at the zombies to stop them. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
The release date for Moss has been set as the developers make the February timeline with Moss landing right before the end of the month It looks like Polyarc has finally settled on a release date for Moss and now it has been set. Not too long ago we covered the game and there was still no set date other than February leaving a lot of people wondering when this PSVR title was actually going to come or if it would make the mark. For those who have not been following Moss here, I am talking about what we had to look at last week without a solid release date set still. All of that can be forgotten now as we can look to add the game onto our PS4 on February 27th now. Read More...

Moss Is Making Sure We Are A Character & Not Just A Viewer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Moss New gameplay for Moss is out there now and now we get to see just how Moss will blend the PSVR experience with a platformer style of game It may be time to put on your "remembering pants" to think back to a game announced at E3 named Moss. Maybe it still rings a bell for you or maybe you remember there being a title named that which was shown off from Polyarc and featured an adventurous mouse as the lead. Remember it or not, here we are with more for this PS VR title and just what to expect if it makes the February of this year release date that Moss currently has set for itself. There is still time for the release but not much to get the word out if that is the case. Read More...

The Persistence The release date for The Persistence is now set and with it comes some new gameplay for The Persistence to show you how this first-person stealth horror game will play in VR It has been over a year since we first heard about The Persistence coming to PS VR and it looked pretty creepy and ready to put some fear into us in the new landscape. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of January 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Cold Iron We sit down and review Cold Iron. A VR take on the old-west showdown style of gameplay across different worlds. Here is our review of Cold Iron If there is one thing that VR is good for it is putting you in a different world doing things that you normally could not get to do in real life and that is something that Cold Iron is aiming to do. Pun totally intended. For those who have missed the memo over the last stretch of time, this is Catch & Release's latest title for the PS VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift. Read More...

Beat Saber Will Have You Slashing & Grooving In VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of January 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Beat Saber A new rhythm VR title, Beat Saber, has more to show off and it looks like Beat Saber is going to be mix of some other great titles all rolled into one If you were sitting around hoping that someone would combine Guitar Hero, Fruit Ninja, and an iconic weapon from a huge Sci-Fi franchise, then you are in luck as it looks like Beat Saber will answer that hope. It may sound like a lot to take in there, but this is a new VR title that Hyperbolic Magnetism is working on for the Oculus, Vive, and PS VR systems that will give you a blend of all of that. The rhythm of GH, the slashiness of Fruit Ninja, and all with lightsabers of sorts to keep the custom music flowing and your beat bouncing in tune. Read More...
