Leap Into A New Beginning With Another Update For RIPOUT

RIPOUT

A new update for RIPOUT is here and offers up a lot more for us to hunt and try out within RIPOUT

As the fun of RIPOUT carries on, the game is getting more and more updates. Not only for the content of the game but also in ways that Pet Project Games wanted to drop into the game before and have only had a chance to do with the Early Access so far. A solid showing of their dedication to it all so we can have the best experience with RIPOUT once it is fully done and dropped on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Something we are edging ever closer to with the New Beginning Update that is here as gamers are able to give it all a go for free over the weekend. Now you have fewer reasons to not give this one a try.

This new update for RIPOUT is bringing into the world a new enemy called the Leaper. It does pretty much what the name implies and will be another thing that can swarm us in the game. It also brings in some new destructible blockade doors, new enemy behaviors, and updated tutorials to better get us familiar with various major gameplay features. That would be the things I am guessing that the developer wanted in before it all went into Early Access. We are getting them all now and this should lead to RIPOUT being a much better title for us all to experience. Have a little bit of a tease and see just a bit of what you can play while you are waiting for it to download to your PC right now.

RIPOUT — New Beginning

3D Realms and Pet Project Games are proud to introduce Cynthia, a state-of-the-art Synthetic mind pal and sidekick character who will help lead players in today’s New Beginning Update for the co-op horror FPS RIPOUT. The New Beginning Update also brings an agile new enemy called the Leaper, which spawns in swarms and only moves by jumping, as well as new destructible blockade doors and updated enemy behaviors.

Cynthia is part of a fully updated tutorial that helps players familiarize themselves with their Pet Gun, the horrors of space, and all the major gameplay features. She will have players exploring derelict ships and saving humanity in no time. You can learn more about the update in the latest patch notes here.

RIPOUT is a co-op horror FPS where you’ll journey through derelict spaceships, battle mutant monstrosities, and complete various missions searching for the last remaining bastion of humanity. Harness the power of your trusty biomechanical Pet Gun and gain a tactical advantage by ripping weaponry off enemies to use on your own.

It is amazing to see that RIPOUT has not fallen into the Early Access Hells that many other titles have over the years. While some of the updates we have been seeing do feel more like features that should have been in the game since the first day, we can slightly let that pass with how these things usually go. I mean, we are getting many other things added into it so the game does not feel like it is just being patchworked back together. I know I am still holding off until I can experience all of RIPOUT in one solid go, but that should not dissuade you from giving it a chance. It is free to play over the weekend and you might just be able to find your next video game love in the mix if you want to spend the time.

Have you been playing RIPOUT up to now or do you need more updates before you want to dive in? How many other major updates will we see before it goes fully live out there and will it be more of the features that should be there from the start? How many more of the creatures will we see in the mix and will those keep on coming in regular intervals? Head into the comment section to discuss it all and let the world know what you are think about it all. There will be more for RIPOUT as the development carries on. Please keep on checking back for those updates and the many others we have along the way for you all.
