Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Is Now The Official Next Installment To The IP
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of June 2022 - 07:00 PM ]
Dragon Age The next Dragon Age has an official name and we can all look forward to getting Dragon Age: Dreadwolf in the future The cat is now out of the bag with Dragon Age: Dreadwolf being the title to the next installment to the long-running IP from BioWare. We had a bit of a tease for the game quite a while ago and the world being as it is, things had to move along in the shadows up to now. I am guessing that EA also wanted to remind us all that this title was coming as the last we heard of anything truly Dragon Age was back in 2018. At least as this new title is involved. Read More...

by Cody Killebrew [ Thursday, 4th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
EA More than 25 EA titles are now available on Steam as EA aims to make it more accessible for gamers to play and buy their titles where they want It looks like EA is finally making the bigger push over to Steam, as today you can head over there on your PC and pick up some titles that have yet to be on the platform as of yet. Steam and not specifically PC. Thus, allowing more PC gamers out there to pick up and enjoy the titles they may have wanted for a while now but did not want to have to put up with EA Access to do so. How Will All Of Your Choices In Dragon Age: Inquisition Play Out?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Another look at Dragon Age: Inquisition as BioWare and EA show off just how all of your choices will/could have game changing consequences We're so close to having Dragon Age: Inquisition to experience and alter the game's world to our whims. That is what a good Dragon Age game is all about right? Being able to change and alter the game's world and narrative as some kind of overseeing god? Did you not know that was part of Dragon Age: Inquisition? I hope so as you are reading on the topic right now and would most likely be lost by now or by watching the below trailer showing off how all of you choices will affect Dragon Age: Inquisition. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has launched showing off some new gameplay and specific characters for BioWare and EA's upcoming title Most of us may know most of the characters we will play in Dragon Age: Inquisition. For those of you who don't then it looks like we can get ready to see a stream of information flowing here as we have three of the inquisitors from Dragon Age: Inquisition highlighted here as well as a bit of extra gameplay. So a bit of a win for those who think they know Iron Bull, Sera, and Dorian all too well already to care that they are being spotlighted here. Don't be pompous and think you know all by the way. Care To See How Pretty Dragon Age: Inquisition Looks On PC?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Gameplay footage of an early build of Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing the visuals of max setting on PC There has been little concern up until now that Dragon Age: Inquisition was going to look amazing as well as play amazing. If you had concerns after watching any of the past gameplay videos then maybe the following one will put your concerns to rest as it looks like BioWare and EA have taken great care to make sure we have the best game coming to us. At least it is an assurance for those fans of Dragon Age as a franchise and are looking forward to Dragon Age: Inquisition in the coming month. If all is to be believed here, the creator of this video was invited to EA to play and early/alpha build of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Read More...

All The Epic Beards Of Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new video from BioWare and EA show off all the customization options we will get in Dragon Age: Inquisition including epic beards I guess customization in our games is something we really want in games and the latest Dragon Age: Inquisition video shows that off to a great extent. This of course is title that should have a crazy customization tool as BioWare and EA know we all want to be our own little snowflake even if no one may ever sees it. Not to mention that Dragon Age is an RPG franchise so it makes sense that we are going to be able to make our character look how we want to feel while playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. That is our prerogative isn't it? Read More...

Become An Agent Of The Inquisition With The Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Multiplayer is now a feature in Dragon Age: Inquisition and we have a new trailer to show off how BioWare and EA are implementing it into the game Yea, you read that right; Dragon Age: Inquisition is getting multiplayer mixed into the game. To be honest I am surprised that it took this long to get a multiplayer option into the franchise as it seems like it would be a decent fit. At least that is how I saw it back in the Origins day as the game played a lot like other titles that had a good multiplayer mixed in for the genre. I guess BioWare and EA wanted to make sure the franchise felt different and are just no getting around to adding in a touch of multiplayer. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Couldn't Be At Gamescom 2014 Or The EA Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below Just like Microsoft's press event, EA had their event at a non-gamer time for those not living in Europe or night owls; 1 a.m. here on the west coast of North America. Just like the Microsoft event it should be no surprise that most of us gamers may have slept through or played through the huge event that EA put on at Gamescom in their booth. Luckily, like yesterday, we were able to get the event's full stream for all of us who were late to the game to catch up. Or at least see everything they had to offer outside of the trailers making the rounds already. Read More...

It's Time To Roll Initiative For Combat In Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition has been released showing off all of the facets of the combat system for the game It seems odd to keep talking about it as we've seen it many times before but here is some more on the combat system in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It really seems like BioWare is insanely proud of this system as it is being pushed more than the great story that I've been hearing for the game and other great features. I guess since it is looking like the best version of a D&D video game combat system it is something to be proud of. I just kind of want to move on to something else for the game before it finally lands on November 18th. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 7/7/14 — 7/11/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming There goes one more week of gaming news in the bag. It felt like a very directed week for gaming news if you do ask me but then again we give you what we get. Also when we get it…as long as it fits in our theme of gaming news here on the site. Granted not all of the news we have is 100% gaming related but that is splitting hairs where we don't need to be. Back to my "directed" comment. Read More...

The second half of the Dragon Age: Inquisition demo from E3 has been released for all to enjoy now Earlier this week we were able to see the first half of the Dragon Age: Inquisition demo from E3. It was all about the world, exploration, and all the crazy combat options we are going to get when we actually get to play the game. Here Is About Half Of The Dragon Age: Inquisition E3 Demo For You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of July 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
If you don't want to rely on second hand impressions, the first half of the E3 Dragon Age: Inquisition demo was released In case my words and off screen footage of the Dragon Age: Inquisition E3 demo did nothing for you let me present you with the first half of said demo in video form. It is a bit different than the one I saw in the fact that the main role being played is a different class but hey, everything else is the same. That and now you don't have to read as many words to get the full experience of what was being shown behind semi-closed doors. Now you only have to wait for the video to buffer and not the hours of wait time to get in to see the demo. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Dragon Age: Inquisition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Dragon Age: Inquisition In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was an award for longest demo at E3 The Phantom Pain would win the gold but Dragon Age: Inquisition is a strong silver medal. A solid 35 minute of the game was shown off in a nice air conditioned booth and it showed everything to how massive the world of the game is going to be, to how your choices will impact more than just the narrative been the physical world as well. That is to be expected though as it is a Dragon Age title though. None the less, let me jump in and tell you want I think of this next installment to the franchise. Read More...

by Kenton Winkfield [ Friday, 13th of June 2014 - 05:11 PM ]
A transcript of EA's 2014 E3 press conference Like any press conference should start, EA's began with the CEO Andrew Wilson taking the stage and welcoming everyone to E3 and their press conference. He immediately sets the show off by announcing a video for Star Wars: Battlefront will be shown at E3. He announces that the conference will be showing games releasing in the upcoming months and other games that will take longer but we'd get more in-depth looks. He continued by saying that there would be various ideas on what to expect given to us by the creative leaders of the studios they are working with. Read More...
