This is something that I know I was expecting Saber Interactive to show off in the bigger reveals recently, but I am still glad we now get to know when it will hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Star Trek The Star Trek universe is getting a little dark, with the announcement of the horror title Star Trek: Shadow Frontier It is time to mark down a title I never thought we would see in the IP, but here we go with Star Trek: Shadow Frontier. Not that I thought this was based on anything before now, but more that we are getting a true horror title in the universe and from Bloober Team, along with Paramount Games. An IP that's always been known to stay closer to the positive and happier side of exploration is now heading into something that seems truly dark out there. Not that any of the episodes, films, or other forms that Star Trek has taken didn't introduce things that could be horrifying, I'm looking at you Borg, they generally tried to stay away from the true horrors of it all. Kingdom Hearts The world of Kingdom Hearts is coming into a real setting with the latest teaser that we have for Kingdom Hearts IV After four years of waiting, we finally have a new thing to be teased about when it comes to Kingdom Hearts IV. Not only did Square Enix give us so little before that we have had to speculate and dream about what the game could be, but then they made us wait so long to get something new. The gall to do that. Star Wars The gameplay for Star Wars Zero Company takes center stage, as we finally get to see a bit of how Star Wars Zero Company will handle It looks as if every move we make in Star Wars Zero Company needs to count, as long as we want to master the gameplay that will be heading our way. That feels a bit like a given, but it's something that Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment are hammering home in the latest gameplay we have to look at. Since Star Wars Zero Company does land on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this August 27th, I'd venture a guess it will be good to know what is on the way. SAW A new title in the SAW IP is on the way to us, with the announcement of SAW: Genesis taking us into The Great War Even though the film side of things seems to be in a weird limbo, the video game side of things got a little bit of a surprise with SAW: Genesis getting announced. A new and interesting entry into the IP with Anshar Studios and Bloober Team coming together to bring it all to the PC. Not the exact set of teams I was expecting, yet still the teams that I have a feeling have a good chance of doing it correctly. Alien The horrors of the Alien IP are carrying on, with the full reveal we just had for Alien: Isolation 2 We all knew it was coming, and now we are here with the official reveal for Alien Isolation 2. A title that Creative Assembly was not coy about coming, as they announced it almost two years ago, but out of all of the recent videos dropped out there, we have an official reveal for the game. On that, it might be a little different from what any of you might have thought was on the way to us all. ILL A new bit of the story for ILL is on display, and we can get a little more to understand why we are walking in ILL We have had some fun thinking about ILL after it was first revealed to us all, but now we have something a little more specific to take in for the game to get us ready for the 2027 release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Okay, maybe that is a little far off into the future, but Team Clout is ready to show us all a bit of the story beyond the horror that we are going to take in. Amanda The Adventurer Amanda The Adventurer is finally closing things out on the consoles with the release date set for Amanda The Adventurer 3 It looks as if next week is going to be the big week for many PC titles getting moved over to the consoles, as we have the release date for Amanda The Adventurer 3 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Switch 2 now set. Set specifically for May 28th, which is a good bit of timing by MANGLEDmaw Games and DreadXP if it was planned. Dreadmoor The open playtest for Dreadmoor is finally here, and we only have a short window to play the latest version of Dreadmoor After sitting and waiting as long as we have, we can all give Dreadmoor a bit of a play out there on the PC starting today. Not that the game has fully launched out there, it seems that Dream Dock still has more to do for this game, but the open playtest has begun, so we can have a sample of what the game will hold.
