From Fort Tarsis To The Hidden Depths Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Anthem More footage for Anthem is out there again, with a little bit of all the different gameplay we can expect in Anthem at launch The month of Anthem is still rolling out there as we fly toward the February 22nd release date and now we have a look at something other than shooting things with weird energy. That has been most of what BioWare has shown us since the game we first announced and I am sure that EA had something to do with that, but now we have a look at more for the game than just that. We do have more of the shooting and blowing things up we can expect in Anthem, but we also have a look at how the dialog will play out and how we will have some impact on it all as we go. More Horror Coming To VR With DreamBack VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
DreamBack A new VR horror game, DreamBack VR, has a new teaser video to get us ready for when DreamBack VR launches in 2019 Let us throw another VR horror title into the mix as we have a bit more for the upcoming DreamBack VR here. This would be the title in the works from Come Over Gaming that will take us to some new depths of fear in VR some time in 2019. That is as long as everything works out correctly as that is all hype for DreamBack VR at this point and nothing rock solid. The latest teaser that we do have for the game does look like it will hold some solid competition, but for now, we are going to be reserved so we do not get the PC horror crowds riled up too soon. Intercept The Storm With The Javelins Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. Read More...

I am sure that EA would like you to remember that Anthem is coming and that you should pre-order it now, but that would outshine the news that you can get it bundled in with your new GeForce RTX graphics card, laptops, or PCs. Unreal PT Is Here To Try To Recapture The Demo We All Loved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
PT Another attempt to recreate PT is here with Unreal PT bringing everything we know about the demo to life and in VR this time If there has been one game/demo that caused a whole lot of stir when it dropped it would have to be PT. It was nothing more than a promotional thing for another game that was canceled, but it caught the hearts and minds of so many gamers out there that it became not only an amazing PS4 experience but had others trying to recreate the whole thing. Usually these have been met swiftly with cease and desist notices being sent to whoever is doing so. That is why we are going to spread the word now that we have another entry into the phenomenon with Unreal PT so you can hopefully download it and see just what a load of passion and time can do for PC gamers who may have missed out. Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Afterlife The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are almost at the last week of video games of the year as we head towards Christmas and then New Years. Weirdly, this year did not seem to slow down as we made it to the end and we will all take that. From new things to look at for Devil May Cry 5 and Kingdom Hearts over to other updates for Control and Resident Evil it does not look like we are going to hit a wall here in 2018. At least in terms of video games that is. Read More...
