Join Will as we all set out on a new narrative adventure with the reveal of WILL: Follow The Light

If you have been waiting for a new adventure to take you out on a yacht, then you are going to be fully excited for the reveal of WILL: Follow The Light. A new title on the way to us all from TomorrowHead Studio that will be giving us all a bit of that, some of the seas, and more of the adventure on the land that these titles usually aim to give us. All when WILL: Follow The Light sails out for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC next year. For now, though, let us dig in and see where the voyage will take us all and if it is another that we are going to need to add into the realm of walking puzzle games out there. I mean, sailing puzzles games…

As the title implies, we are going to take up the role of Will in the game and set out on a quest to find our missing son. This will take us all out into some stormy seas and Nordic landscapes as we venture out to do what none else can do with more resources and people. This is a father trying to find a son story, so it needs that extra weight to make sure we have all of the emotions going on as we find this loved one. That or we might just be exploring areas of the world while also exploring the depths of the human psyche as we go about in WILL: Follow The Light. I am going to venture that it is going to be a bit more on the latter as that does make for a more compelling video game to experience. Have a look and see just what is on the way to us all with this one.

WILL: Follow The Light — Reveal

TomorrowHead Studio is a new international game development company headquartered in Spokane, Washington. Deeply inspired by the wanderlust of travel and exploration, TomorrowHead wants to send players on journeys of discovery — to explore places and worlds they’ve never been to before.

WILL: Follow The Light is a narrative adventure taking players on a journey across stormy seas and rugged Nordic shores. Players will take the helm of a sailing yacht — piloted with realistic controls and developed in collaboration with arctic voyagers — and navigate the cold and hostile environments of far-northern seas.

Players will assume the role of Will, a fearless man who grew up on the sea, as he ventures north in search of his missing son. WILL’s story explores the relationship between father and son in an adventure taking players on an emotional rollercoaster through wild thunderstorms, the ringing silence of loneliness, and a tale about the importance of caring for loved ones.

Players will face challenges on the sea and on land. As players progress, they will solve puzzles rooted in real life, chart their path using an authentic weather station and lifelike navigation system, and traverse snowy trails by dog sled in search of answers.

Will this video game do exactly what it is sailing out to do or is it going to feel like many of the other walking sims out there that we have had? Could this lean more into a character development story than expected and do you think the son is even going to be alive in the end? What is the significance of the boat that is going to be used here and do you think that has a deeper meaning? Chart a course down to the comment section and then let the discussion flow. There should be more on the way for WILL: Follow The Light, so please keep on checking back for those updates and the many others that are currently in the works. It is going to be a ride to have and you are not going to want to miss out on it at all.
