See A Heist Get Pulled Off Within Hood: Outlaws & Legends
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of May 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Hood: Outlaws & Legends offers up a solid look at how a heist could go down within Hood during the coming release This week, some out there will be able to dive into Hood: Outlaws & Legends if you are opting to get into the game a bit earlier out there. It has been a bit of a ride to get to where we are going to be here this week but I know I am fully ready to get in and rob the sheriff out there. Even if some of it is a weird deviation from the normal Robin Hood tropes and stories. It has all weirdly been working for me and I am excited to see what Sumo Digital has when it is fully ready to go. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It can always be satisfying when a week bookends its self with the same video games so well and with much more than just some marketing hype in the mix. We get to wrap on a week just like that with all of the Ratchet & Clank we did get to see here. Not to mention see a bit more for Returnal that just launched and more for the coming Hood title. We also had a chance to mark one more of those video games off the review list with Paradise Lost for those looking to see if they should take the time to experience it all as well. Read More…

We Will All Be Sucked Further Into The Gameplay For Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
A whole of lot of new gameplay for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart came out recently and we can dive into a bit more to come with this Ratchet & Clank title It seems fitting that since we opened the week with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart that we are closing it out too. All due to the most recent State Of Play that happened and allowed for Insomniac Games to share a whole lot more gameplay than we had at the start of it all. Almost seventeen minutes worth of the stuff so we can see Ratchet & Clank doing their thing and then a little bit more on the character that we just had highlighted in the way of Rivet. If you have not seen any of that yet, do not worry as there is a whole lot more to Rivet in this gameplay dump that you will get to know the character much more as we see the dimension-hopping continue along the way. Although, this one is still a bit off as it is listed that this version of Among Us will be out later this year. Read More…

The Skyscraper Is Ready For Us To Defy Gravity In Hot Wheels Unleashed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
More gameplay for Hot Wheels Unleashed is here to show off a new track that most might wish to have had with their Hot Wheels Get the toy engines revved up for more tracks to come at us all for Hot Wheels Unleashed, as we have a new one to look at and make some of us jealous out there that we could never make it ourselves. This one takes things high and up-side-down within the setting of a Skyscraper that is only partially finished and with the orange tracks running all over. Milestone definitely looks like they are looking to re-live some of those childhood dreams with these tracks that we never had a chance to make. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
There is some new gameplay for Lost Soul Aside out there that makes Lost Soul Aside give off some new gameplay feels to other titles Things have been a little quiet on the side of things for Lost Soul Aside but now we have a bit more to see and know for the game. Quite a bit for those that may have been waiting for something new, as we have eighteen minutes of gameplay footage for the game that UltiZero Games has been putting tireless hours into. They have a bunch to do for Lost Soul Aside before it hits the PS4, PS5, and PC but it looks like it is developing insanely well. All to the point where it does look like we can use a few other titles out there to describe the look and feel of this game. Read More…

Create Your Own Fate As The Tide Of Time Rolls In Returnal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Returnal is on the verge of launching and we have one more pull to suck us into the story Returnal will be offering up This is the week that the PS5 will finally see the full version of Returnal and we can see just how this studio is advancing their concepts and designs along the way. It has been something I know I have been excited for when I saw the first trailer Housemarque put out there to let us know it was happening. Then we had all of the darker and time-bending trailers for Returnal to make us ask other questions as to what we will be going through in this game. Given that it is shaping to be a live-die-repeat style of it all, it makes sense and looks like they could have another hit on their hands. Read More…

Review — Paradise Lost
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Paradise Lost. A dark walk through a twisted alternate history setting. Here is our review of Paradise Lost Playing with history can be fun and can lead to some interesting ideas on how things could have played out differently based on how events transpired. That is part of the core to Paradise Lost, among other things, that PolyAmorous wanted to dive into. They are not the first to do this, obviously, but it is the latest to let us go in and see a different view of things through the eyes of a child. All as we walk around the WWII-inspired setting that is set well after the wars went down. Read More…

Deduce A Few More Answers For The Coming Sherlock Holmes Chapter One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
More answers are given for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One to get us ready to play as well as inhabit the role of Sherlock Holmes again Just as the IP should be doing here, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One has been leaving us with a whole lot of questions about the game to try to figure out along the way to see if we are ready to experience this version of the character's origin. Unlike the IP should, in my opinion, we are no getting hand fed some of those answers from Frogwares so we do not have to think about it too hard. Sure, this is all in a way to help us figure out if we should give Sherlock Holmes Chapter One our money and time, but…well, I guess that is a good reason. Read More…
