Days Gone Will Use Realism To Build More Gameplay Tension
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Days Gone has dropped to explain how Days Gone will use a sense of realism to add to the gameplay tension in the game It may not be much for now, but we have another look at Days Gone here and how Bend Studio is aiming to use more realism in the game to add to the tension we will feel when playing. At least that is the claim here as we see how we will be forced to encounter hordes of "freakers" in the game early on and have to deal with that as we progress further into the game. Not only that but we will also have to worry about our motorcycle's status in Days Gone in terms of fuel and state of repair. Read More…

A New 3D Adventure Games Is Coming By The Way Of Scarf
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 14th of August 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
A new announcement for a game called Scarf is here and it will let us explore a new world using the polymorphic powers of a Scarf among other things Add one more 3D Adventure game to the list to keep an eye on as now we have Scarf to look forward to so we can keep scratching that itch. It always seems to come back in the mix of all of the other larger-scale titles releasing and it looks like Uprising Studios, with the help of THQ Nordic, will be giving us a nice break this Winter or early in 2019 on the PC. That seems like the perfect time for a game called Scarf to release in my book. Seeing how it also looks to handle here, it could be another great break to distract us and get us back into the exploring aspect of video games. Read More…

The next Behind The Odyssey video for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here, as well as a look at the box art for the other character in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Here we go with the next of the “Behind The Odyssey!” for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This one takes us deeper into the combat of the game and gives us all a small look at how Ubisoft has taken what they did in Origins and moved everything a bit forward. I say a bit, as they did a great job before and I think they only need to make things fit better for the new characters and backgrounds they will have in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey compared to the last game. Something that looks like they have done well so far. Read More…

More gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here to show us how missions can play out differently than a tradition Assassin’s Creed mission Add another mission from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey to have a look at here. One more in the growing list of them and there does not seem to be a sign that they are slowing down. Given how many that Ubisoft crammed in the last game, I would not be surprised to see even more out there and still not scraped the surface of what the full game will hold. More so as this latest mission highlights one of the new features coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in the manner of player choice will change the flow of the game. Read More…

Even The Water Is Out To Kill You In Green Hell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
A new look at another survival mechanic for Green Hell is here and this one takes us into the dangers and needs for water to survive the Green Hell It should come as no surprise that in a survival game like Green Hell we are going to need to worry about hydration and water. Creepy Jar is aiming for a realistic version of how it would all play out, as realistic as a video game can get, and it makes sense that it would be a resource we would need to manage to stay alive. More so since Green Hell is also using all of those weird and horrible things in the real world to try to end our game like parasites and infections. Again driving home the importance of the water and its mechanics in the game. Read More…
