Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Raises Up The Fourth Playable Clan Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of December 2023 - 10:00 PM ]
Vampire The fourth playable clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here to round out all of the types of vampire we will get to play The time has come and we have our final clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 when it comes to playable clans from the launch. Just as we thought it might be, it looks as if The Chinese Room is giving us all the Ventrue to use in the fight of the night. These are one of the main vampire clans that we normally would get to use in the game on tabletop as they fill the usual stereotype of things as well as give us a social way to handle many of the issues out there. They are the kinds and "blue bloods" of the kindred for a reason after all. Read More...

One that many players might never have heard of as it is a clan that even the hardcore fans are still getting used to out there. Read More...

The Tremere Are Playing The Blood In Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of November 2023 - 06:00 PM ]
Vampire The next playable vampire clan is out there for the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 at launch The next of the clans is finally revealed to us all and it looks like the Tremere will be playable from the start in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 now. Not the biggest of shocks out there as it is another of the easy clans to translate into a solid gameplay mechanic for The Chinese Room. As speculated in the previous updates, this would offer up a ranged build with the Brujah playing as the melee build. Even if the lore of the clan, like many others, offers up a vastly different experience based on how you want to play Vampire: The Masquerade. Read More...

Even if The Chinese Room is not fully ready to give us all full gameplay for the game as of yet, we get to know a little about how we might be playing. The clans of Vampire: The Masquerade do help dictate the kind of playstyle of the character in the tabletop version, and it sounds like it will do that here for Phyre in this one too. Now, we get to take in the fact that one of the four playable clans in the game will be the Brujah. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Offers Up The Narrative For Phyre
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of October 2023 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampire A new tease for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here to show off a little more of Bloodlines 2’s protagonist, Phyre Steam is starting to pick up again for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 and as Halloween is here, it feels like the right time to get a look at the main character we are going to be playing in the game. The main character as well as how the RPG system and narrative of it all is going to function now that The Chinese Room has taken over. Both of these things are mainstays for Vampire: The Masquerade in general, so it is something they are going to need to nail before it drops on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2024. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Gives Us The Sound Of Midnight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of October 2023 - 09:00 PM ]
Bloodlines The soundtrack for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 seems to be flowing out there for us to hear the themes of Bloodlines 2 now There is a little more news on the front for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, and this time it comes in the way of the soundtrack a bit. We have been getting some developer diaries, of sorts, from The Chinese Room to let us know how the game is developing, but there has not been much in the way of anything concrete until now. Given that they seem to be using a lot of what was already built for Bloodlines 2 as well as a lot of newer things, it would be nice to actually get something to go on for the game. That is where all of this seems to kick in now with one of the songs that will be featured in the game and will hopefully set some of the tones and themes we will get to explore. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Is Finally Stalking The Night Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of September 2023 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines A new update for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here to let us know that Bloodlines 2 is rising from the dead again Gods, it has been a hard road here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, but here we are with a new update to share with the world out there. After the last one where Paradox Interactive let the world know that the game was on an indefinite delay and dropping the studio that was working on it, we were all left wondering what was to be. Hells, I am still fighting with them to get my refund from the game I pre-ordered three years ago now. That is a story for a different day, though, as during PAX West here, we have the announcement that The Chinese Room will be taking over the work on Bloodlines 2. Read More...

This Is How Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Is A British Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer diary of sorts for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released and details out how Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is a very British Apocalypse Well Everybody's Gone To The Rapture hits the PS4 in a few weeks on August 11th. We've seen some good things for it up until now and it looks like The Chinese Room has created an amazing experience in storytelling with the game. I have yet to play any part of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture but I have seen so many little videos and explanations that I feel that I get what the game is going for and what we all will most likely experience; even if Everybody's Gone To The Rapture is not an apocalypse story that was designed for someone with my background. That background being not having grown up in a rural town in the British Isles. Read More...

Now We Know When Everybody's Gone To The Rapture
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new teaser trailer for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released with the best information being the released date for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture It feels kind of weird as this could have been a better part of the E3 announcements but now we have a release date for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture. I'm not going to complain because I been overly intrigued with what The Chinese Room and Santa Monica Studios have been cooking up for the game since it first came on the scene but this announcement, and trailer, feel like it would have been better placed during the larger PlayStation conference in a few days where it would get to stand with all of the other PS4, PS3, and PS Vita titles that will be on display. Maybe they just didn't want Everybody's Gone To The Rapture to get lost in the hustle and bustle there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of April 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
Thirteen more minutes of gameplay for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture have been released to show off the vastness of the game's world and AI Yesterday we had a nice little look at the tone of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture as well as a bit more to the soundtrack of the game. Santa Monica Studios and The Chinese Room are really hitting that loneliness angle home here as even the gameplay we have only shows how big the game's world will be and how empty it will be. You know, because Everybody's Gone To The Rapture. There shouldn't be too many humans still running around the Earth and all right? Read More...
