Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown Transports Us Deep Into Some Gameplay
by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 2nd of October 2025 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Trek Gameplay for the upcoming Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown is out there, and it will allow us to change up the Star Trek universe a bit Let's start our trip into the unknown, with a little look at the gameplay for the upcoming Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown. This would be the starship management title that gameXcite and Daedalic Entertainment have been working on, and announced not too long ago. It started out sounding like it would be a flight simulation or another of the action-oriented titles in the Star Trek universe, but now we get to see just how it will flow. It does seem that there will be a lot less of the combat when it launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, but a whole lot of things that can alter the universe and stories that we have grown to love. Journey Further Into The Unknown With Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown
by Juliet Meyer [ Thursday, 28th of August 2025 - 07:00 PM ]
Star Trek Star Trek fans will have a new title flying their way, with the announcement for Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown We are all going to have a chance to head off into the final frontier with the announcement of Star Trek Voyager: Across The Unknown. A new title that gameXcite and Daedalic Entertainment announced out at Gamescom this year, and one that will give players on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC a bit more of a taste of what the universe has to offer up. At least in terms of the Star Trek universe, as that is a bit different than the one we currently are surviving out here. That will be part of the game, as we will be taking control of a Voyager-class ship and heading into the great unknown, while also managing so much more than we could imagine, and dabbling in some of the extra "What If" kind of things that could be possible in all of the universes out there. A solid little showcase and bit of fun for fans of the various shows that Paramount+ has running or will be launching soon. Given how it has been in the past, this is going to be one of the fun events going on during the convention that will have many lining up again. Especially as The Lodge is something happening during SDCC that will not require a badge to go to. Read More...

by Raymond Bruels [ Friday, 13th of June 2025 - 05:00 PM ]
Universal We take a day out to Universal Studios to check out the limited run of Universal Fan Fest Nights 2025 It is no secret that I love Universal Studios Hollywood, which is why when the first advertisements for their Fan Fest Nights 2025 were advertised, I leapt at the opportunity to secure tickets. It also coincided well with my first anniversary, and my wife is a diehard Back To The Future fan. Talk about kismet. Read More...

Universal The themed food out at Universal Studios during the Universal Fan Fest Nights has been shown off with a new Dining Pass Part of the fun of going to theme parks is always the various food and treats you can sample while in the mix, and it looks like we are getting some extra new options for those partaking in the Universal Fan Fest Nights in the coming month. Universal Fan Fest Nights Is Opening Things Up For New Experiences
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of January 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Universal Universal Studios is now kicking off the Universal Fan Fest Nights this coming April with tickets available right now The teasing and waiting is mostly over for those who were interested in the upcoming Universal Fan Fest Nights out at the Hollywood parks this year. This would be something similar to the Halloween Horror Nights that we have seen and experienced in the past, only that this time Universal Studios will be gearing up for less horror-themed experiences for a month or so. It is still an after-hours event that is going on just with the likes of Back To The Future, Star Trek, One Piece, and Dungeons & Dragons getting the highlight over the traditional horror IPs that the other event has. That and this is more of a celebration for the fans instead. Read More...

Star Trek The release date for Star Trek: Resurgence is set for all of the Star Trek fans to have a great May It has missed the original mark before, though here we are once more with a release date for Star Trek: Resurgence. Well, saying missed the mark is a bit off as it was only implied to be out there from Dramatic Labs in 2022. Nothing was ever written in stone. What is written in stone, now, is that we can expect to take this next journey into the Star Trek universe on May 23rd. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 8/1/22 — 8/5/22
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of August 2022 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go wrapping up this week of video games, even if we did dive into a few other things beyond all of that. Given that we just wrapped SDCC and we have Gamescom rolling up on us, it is a bit of a surprise we did not just get lost in all of it. With Marvel’s Midnight Suns and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves adding into this week's fun too. I fully recommend looking in on Star Trek: Resurgence and a few of the other lesser-known video games we have coming down the pipes. Read More...

Star Trek: Resurgence Is Going To Have Much More Going On Under The Hood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of August 2022 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Trek While at SDCC, I was able to see Star Trek: Resurgence in a more intimate setting. Here is my take on the latest for Star Trek: Resurgence It has been a bit of time since Star Trek: Resurgence was revealed to the world and showed that we could hold out hope to take command of a different vessel in the setting's universe. Not too much was revealed at that time, but it looks like that was for good reason with Dramatic Labs working hard to make sure the team's interactive storytelling pedigree was put to good use. That is why it was a solid treat to see some live gameplay for Star Trek: Resurgence out at SDCC this year, as well as getting to sit down with two of the game's writers Dan Martin and Andrew Grant. Star Trek: Resurgence Will Place Us All In The Captain’s Chair
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of December 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Star Trek The Star Trek universe will expand a bit more with the new narrative title announced by the way of Star Trek: Resurgence It feels like it has been some time since we had a fun and full Star Trek video game to enjoy and explore. I know there have been a few of the smaller and mobile titles out there, but it looks as if Dramatic Labs is going to end that drought for those looking for something big on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Here we go with the announcement for Star Trek: Resurgence that will place us in the mix of being the captain out there and aiming to save the universe. You know, the normal thing that we have to worry about when heading into the exploration utopia that the IP has usually been out there. Read More...

You Can Now Engage Star Trek: Bridge Crew Without Needing VR
by Julia Schoebel [ Friday, 22nd of December 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Star Trek A new update for Star Trek: Bridge Crew is here and it allows you to join in on the Star Trek fun without the need for VR headsets We have some good news for you Trekkies out there that feel left out of the fun of Star Trek: Bridge Crew due to not having a full VR set up for your PC our a PSVR for your PS4. That news is that Ubisoft has listened to your cries and opted to put out an update that will allow non-VR gamers out there to access and enjoy the game. That is right; we can now enjoy Star Trek: Bridge Crew without the need of a VR helmet if that is our jam or we do not have all the money out there to get set up in the VR space. Read More...

Star Trek Online Boldly Goes Toward Consoles This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Trek Long running Star Trek Online MMO is now heading to the PS4 and Xbox One so more players can experience the Star Trek free-to-play title It's only been about six months in the waiting but now it looks like Star Trek Online is making the voyage to the PS4 and Xbox One. This is something that Perfect World and Cryptic had in the cards since the consoles that could handle the game's engine popped up and we will be seeing it again this Fall. As an added bonus here too, Star Trek Online will also be keeping its Free-To-Play model during the leap so there will be no worry about having to shell out for a game here to play a massive version of "catch up." It does seem a bit odd that it took this long for Star Trek Online to try and make the jump over to the console world but given the controls and UI of the PC version I think it is safe to say that we can blame it on that. E3 2012 Impressions: Star Trek
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of June 2012 - 11:11 PM ]
Last year we got to see a very behind closed doors presentation of the new Star Trek game. So closed doors I had to wait until an embargo lifted after E3 2011 to talk about it. This year was quite the opposite. In fact while I was leaving my appointment from seeing Borderlands 2 I took a wrong turn on the show floor and ended up walking down a corridor from the Enterprise leading into a transporter room where myself and a plethora of other fans were whisked away to see the presentation. Below you can see some of the side by side video from the presentation, but let me fill you in on what you don't get to see. First to clear up confusion on the below video, each side is done in the point of view of which ever character you would choose from the beginning. Read More...
