We have had the Dusk Mage, Forged, and Railmaster already. Now we are getting the Sharpshooter class added in by Echtra Games for us to enjoy and add more range to our group. Flythrough More Of The World Of Remnant: From The Ashes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of July 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Remnant More of the areas in Remnant: From The Ashes are here for us to take in, as the world seems to expand even further for Remnant We have another flyby attack for Remnant: From The Ashes in terms of more of the game's world to explore. I am sure you gathered that from the title there, but it is still the case for what Gunfire Games has been working on and what we should be expecting for the game. It would be a bit of a letdown if all we had was the last one and then had to wait until August 20th to finally see more for Remnant: From The Ashes. It would also just be poor marketing for the game. Read More...

Star Trek Online Boldly Goes Toward Consoles This Fall
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Star Trek Long running Star Trek Online MMO is now heading to the PS4 and Xbox One so more players can experience the Star Trek free-to-play title It's only been about six months in the waiting but now it looks like Star Trek Online is making the voyage to the PS4 and Xbox One. This is something that Perfect World and Cryptic had in the cards since the consoles that could handle the game's engine popped up and we will be seeing it again this Fall. As an added bonus here too, Star Trek Online will also be keeping its Free-To-Play model during the leap so there will be no worry about having to shell out for a game here to play a massive version of "catch up." It does seem a bit odd that it took this long for Star Trek Online to try and make the jump over to the console world but given the controls and UI of the PC version I think it is safe to say that we can blame it on that. E3 2012 Hands On: Neverwinter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2012 - 11:29 PM ]
Talk about another title that wasn't on my radar until I got a chance to sit down and actually have some good hands on with. The title in the instance is Neverwinter. Another attempt at making the perfect version of Dungeons&Dragons into an interactive video game. In this attempt though, I feel that they are just about spot on with what I was able to play. Just as a heads up, I was only able to get handsie with the Wizard class, although it felt more like a Sorcerer. The first thing I have to say that impressed me was the fact that the game deviates from the "tab" based combat system and takes on a very active based one. Read More...

Belated E3 Impressions: Jade Dynasty
by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2009 - 03:37 PM ]
There is an unfair bias among many in the media here in North America against micro-transactions and free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online games. That somehow if you play a non-subscription-based system (i.e. World of Warcraft), you’ll catch some communicable disease of un-coolness. What most gaming enthusiast journalists fail to focus on is this market is increasing by huge leaps daily with more and more players, especially individuals who would never play something like World of Warcraft but put tens of hours a week into one of these free-to-play MMOs. At E3 this year, I stopped by Perfect World Entertainment to see their assortment of free-to-play MMOs, especially Jade Dynasty. I had an opportunity to sit with Andrew Brown, the game’s product manager, to discuss the open beta and upcoming release. Read More...
