Neverwinter It has just been announced that Neverwinter is making the move over to the PS4 and all of Neverwinter's expansions will be coming with it It looks like the PS4 crowd is finally going to get a great taste of Dungeons & Dragons as Neverwinter is finally making its debut on the platform. With PAX East less than a week away let's get a look at everything going down this coming weekend. Firstly, we have the recently re-announced Saints Row 4 from Volition and their new owners Deep Silver. Nothing about this game aside from the release date and a fluff trailer has been shown. What do you expect from the newest installment of the Saints franchise? Personally I expect the game to be even more insane, with hopefully a deeper customization, as I felt Saints Row III pulled back a bit from we had in Saints Row II. Talk about another title that wasn't on my radar until I got a chance to sit down and actually have some good hands on with. The title in the instance is Neverwinter. Another attempt at making the perfect version of Dungeons&Dragons into an interactive video game. In this attempt though, I feel that they are just about spot on with what I was able to play. Just as a heads up, I was only able to get handsie with the Wizard class, although it felt more like a Sorcerer. The first thing I have to say that impressed me was the fact that the game deviates from the "tab" based combat system and takes on a very active based one. Read More...

I haven't had much luck with Dungeons and Dragons games lately, but for some reason I am still really excited for Neverwinter. The last time I talked about Neverwinter was in August of last year. At that time, all we had was a place holder website and a few comments from Cryptic Studios. We finally get our first look at Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter at E3 this year, and I can say one thing for sure - it looks like Dungeons and Dragons. So there you have it, another Dungeons and Dragons title by Atari. Atari, and Cryptic Studios, the team that brought you City of Heroes, Champions Online and the latest Star Trek Online have announced that they are developing the latest title in the Neverwinter genre for the PC called "Neverwinter." Neverwinter will be an online RPG based on the Wizards of the Coast city of Neverwinter. Once a bustling location, Neverwinter has faced a great many disasters in the past hundred years. Rule of the city remains unclear following the unfortunate demise of the last Lord of Neverwinter and factions still battle for dominance after the all-consuming Spellplague took a high toll on the population.
