We Have Some More Gameplay For Alone In The Dark: Illumination
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Alone In The Dark: Illumination is out and showing off some new gameplay as the game's launch looms closer We first got wind of Alone In The Dark: Illumination a few months back and now we are in the proposed month of its PC and Steam release. Atari and Pure FPS were not messing around with getting this title up and running even though things have been on the quite side since the game was announced back on August 20th and we've had one real good look at it to date. I guess that can be on the positive side though as with horror games we need the surprises and shocks to feel fresh. It would just be nice to see how the actually game will play though; at least on a basic mechanic level. Read More...

Atari Is Bringing Yet Another Re-Imagining With Haunted House: Cryptic Graves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
It looks like Atari is re-imagining yet another title to bring to PC and this time it is Haunted House: Cryptic Graves If you have no idea what Haunted House: Cryptic Graves is, don't fret. It is most likely well before your time when the original title from Atari was released, 1982, so you may not have a point of reference for Haunted House: Cryptic Graves. That is okay though as we do have a nice little teaser trailer for the re-imaging of the game that is slated to release this Fall on PC. It sure looks a lot creepier than the original 2600 version of the game way back in the day. Read More...

Dungeons and Dragons - Daggerdale Review
by Corey Dockendorf [ Friday, 10th of June 2011 - 09:14 PM ]
I've been waiting along time for a new Dungeons and Dragons game to hit store shelves. My wish was finally granted with Atari and Bedlam Games release of Daggerdale.  A D&D 4th edition title that boasted 4 player online play, hours of dungeons and a return to the Forgotten Realms and the world of Faerun in epic proportions.  Well, it looks like Bedlam and Atari really missed the mark on this one - by a longshot. We will begin our story with the challenges faced simply to acquire a copy of the game, I went to 4 different stores only to be told that it was only available on the Xbox Marketplace for download. Neverwinter's New E3 Trailer
by Corey Dockendorf [ Wednesday, 8th of June 2011 - 04:30 PM ]
I haven't had much luck with Dungeons and Dragons games lately, but for some reason I am still really excited for Neverwinter. The last time I talked about Neverwinter was in August of last year. At that time, all we had was a place holder website and a few comments from Cryptic Studios. We finally get our first look at Dungeons and Dragons: Neverwinter at E3 this year, and I can say one thing for sure - it looks like Dungeons and Dragons. So there you have it, another Dungeons and Dragons title by Atari. I was a little more excited for this title before I played Daggerdale, but hopefully Cryptic Studios will not let this product fall by the wayside. Read More...

Atari Announces Dungeons And Dragons: Daggerdale
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 23rd of December 2010 - 07:24 PM ]
Looks like Atari is breaking out the D20's. I'm a big D&D fan so any news of the franchise coming back to life is always a big plus. It was only this August that Atari was announcing its Neverwinter project for the PC, and now we have another D&D title slated for a 2011 release. Dungeons and Dragons: Daggerdale is an action packed RPG that will take place in the Dungeons and Dragons Forgotten Realms universe. Dungeons&Dragons: Daggerdale centers on the desperate struggle to defeat the evil Rezlus and his Zhentarim in their attempt to invade and conquer the Dalelands. Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale is an engaging multi-player experience that introduces a riveting narrative and treacherous new characters. Read More...

Ghost Busters Heading Even Deeper Into A Sanctum Of Slime
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of December 2010 - 10:26 PM ]
Last Week we brought you the first look at the new Ghost Busters game that is being produced for spring 2011. Let's just say they were a bit unimpressive. In fact mixed with the news that none of the original cast where attached to the project, there is a lot of doubt cast on Sanctum Of Slime. I mean they turned the Ecto-3 into a fucking hummer for the game. You can totally see it in the larger images and video below. Now to my hopes. Read More...

Ghostbusters Heading Into A Sanctum Of Slime
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of December 2010 - 07:03 PM ]
With Ghostbusters: The Videogame selling over a million copies, it looks like Atari decided to milk our childhoods for more money by having Wanako Studios, a studio owned by the makers of Naughty Bear, slop together another game in the franchise. From these preliminary views, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is going to play just like Alien Breed or Dead Nation with a coat of Ghostbusters paint on it. A 3/4 view running around an area aiming proton beams to wrangle up all the unsavory specters. Maybe they will include the purple slime from the second film in some way. Read More...

Hello and welcome to Millennium City. Don your tights, cape, and/or power armor and take up the good fight to save the city and in turn, the world. That is the premise of Cryptic Studios' new MMORPG Champions Online. Champions being a very popular table top RPG system and Cryptic being best known for their City of Heroes/Villains MMO. How could this paring go wrong at all? It didn't in the very least. Read More...
