Video Games A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It has been one of "those" weeks in video games hasn't it? I personally blame it all on the releases of the current video games and the news of other major video games like Friday The 13th and Styx that keeps all of the other news as fluff and filler instead of anything solid. Halo 5 With the release of Halo 5: Guardians almost here it looks like some gameplay from the beginning of Halo 5 has made it online for all to see Given that earlier this week we had the launch trailer for Halo 5: Guardians get released to the world and review copies of the game making their way out there it was only a matter of time before we had some real gameplay to see. Recent reports say that the studio will be closing as a part of a restructuring that will result in 18,000 Xbox employees being laid off News surfaced today that Xbox Entertainment Studios, the new studio that was to produce several Xbox original TV shows, will be shutting down permanently. The company began in 2012 with the vision to create interactive television content for Xbox Live subscribers. The studio looked to solidify its domination of the home entertainment industry by having their own original programming that can be accessed just as easily as Netflix or Hulu through consumer's Xbox Ones.
