I know all of you Halo fans out there are probably losing your shit right now as the announcement of the closure of Xbox Entertainment Studios could have rocked the boat for Halo: Nightfall. Well the good news is that at least this project doesn't look to be affected by the closure announcement. That is basically because we now have a good look at one of the main characters that will be in the show as well as Halo 5: Guardians.

The actor's name is Mike Colter and you may know him from his role in CBS's critically acclaimed drama The Good Wife. Now his taking on the badass role of Agent Jameson Locke in Halo: Nightfall. A little bit of the new "TV" programming that we were promised at E3 and E3s past. Have a look at him in all of his Halo glory just below.

This is unfortunately all that we know at this moment but there is more to come from the Halo: Nightfall panel slated today (7/24). After that I am sure that we will have more news and news bytes to work with to keep some of you stated until the first trailer for the show is released to the public at large.
