Are There Any Games That Make The Wii U Worth It?
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Friday, 21st of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Games make a console worthwhile but are there any that will revitalize the Wii U? Any that will 'sale' the console? I am a huge Nintendo fan but it has really gone downhill for me in the past two console generations. This brings me to the question, "Are there any games that make the Wii U worth buying?" I am not the typical Nintendo guy who gets a new system every time a Pokémon, Zelda, Mario, or Smash Bros. game comes out. Read More...

Oh, How I Wish Bayonetta 2 Wasn't A Wii U Exclusive
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 18th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
There is a new trailer for Bayonetta 2, a game that is exclusive to the Wii U only. This is going to hurt the sale of the game… It really hurts that the title of this new Bayonetta 2 trailer is titled Did you miss me? because I do. I also will miss you when you finally launch exclusively on the Wii U this summer. It still breaks my heart that Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive as I don't think it fits the console; also the fact that I don't own one and don't think that Bayonetta 2 is going to change my opinion on owning one. But enough of the sad stuff. Read More...

E3 2013 Hands On: Bayonetta 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2013 - 09:46 PM ]
If ever there was a title that would make me actually purchase a WiiU, Bayonetta 2 would be that title. After getting to toil around with the latest build of the game, it makes me sad that I will most likely have to wait some time to actually get to play it proper. But that is me and the tens of WiiU owners out there; here is a little more information on why you should be picking up the game next year and why all of the non-WiiU owners will be jealous. This was my first time playing a real game with the WiiU controller and I was a bit worried as all of the tech/non-tech demos I've played were designed specifically with the controller in mind. Bayonetta originally wasn't so I was expecting it to be a bit on the rough side in terms of controls. Read More...

Great Games Under $30
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 7th of November 2011 - 05:16 PM ]
Are you bored? Tired of playing that new game you just got because it didn't live up to its hype? Got some extra cash? Well then, you're in luck. I've made a list of some really good games under $30. First up we got Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock. The final Guitar Hero went out with a bang, featuring one of the best heavy metal and rock set lists I've ever seen as well as some really cool power ups. Warriors Of Rock has the first story line in a Guitar Hero game. While it's certainly not the best it is still very enjoyable; especially the final battle against The Beast. Read More...

Aggrocast Episode Fifty Eight: Bring Forth the Nyquil
by Brian Bentley [ Tuesday, 2nd of February 2010 - 03:04 AM ]
This podcast is a little late due to the sickness going around. Mike's complaining about Modern Warfare 2, Brian is complaining about being sick and playing too many video games and Binh's complaint is he's enjoying Star Trek Online way more than he thought he would. The guys debate on Bayonetta's "features" and whether or not it is offensive. Our features include Bargain Binh going classic, On the DL will let the jury decide and your Netflix Pix takes a slide on the wild side. Remember to get the word out to the masses by rating and reviewing us on iTunes and the Zune Marketplace. Read More...

Aggrocast Episode Fifty Seven: New Year, Same Crew
by Brian Bentley [ Wednesday, 20th of January 2010 - 12:06 AM ]
With CES 2010 in the books, Mike triumphantly returns to return the class to the podcast...well, somewhere.  Of course, get ready to rock what the Aggrocast crew has been playing (Bayonetta, Chrono Trigger, etc.), especially you'll want to know who fell off the wagon and is playing World of Warcraft again.  (Hint: It isn't Binh!)After an absence for two episodes, your favorites segments are back with On The DL going hazardous, Bargain Binh isn't a Star Wars game for once and your Netflix Pix is streaming Saturday night's favorite comedy show. Review: Bayonetta
by Michael Camacho [ Saturday, 16th of January 2010 - 01:07 AM ]
I went into Bayonetta with much enthusiasm, but still approached it with caution. Was this another Japanese action game that relies on a sexy female protagonist and forgoes gameplay (see Onechanbara)? No, Bayonetta proved itself to be so much more. Bayonetta is a witch trying to remember her past and stop the resurrection of Jubileus The Creator.  She fights angels and other angelic beings from Paradiso. She fights with a variety of melee weapons while dual wielding pistols in her hands as well as another pair attached to her heels. Read More...

You Naughty Little Angels Deserve A Good Spanking
by Ben Brody [ Sunday, 8th of November 2009 - 01:25 PM ]
Bayonetta is shaping up to be a really really good game, and if you go by what Famitsu says, it's the best game they've ever played. The game was met with strong sales in Japan this past week and is poised for a US release this upcoming January. If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting E3, PAX, ComicCon, or VGExpo, then you may be in for a treat. Sega has come up with a contest in which a select few will win early access to the demo for the XBOX 360.    Here's how to get it:  Visit this site and follow the instructions: http://www.s Read More...

Climax Action Comes to the Tokyo Game Show
by Kevin [ Friday, 4th of September 2009 - 05:10 PM ]
The more I hear and read about Bayonetta, the more I can appreciate the game for what it is - or what it potentially will be. You've heard how the protagonist essentially becomes more and more naked with different attacks, and how her hair transforms into weapons, and how the game contains "Torture Combos", "Witch Time", and "Non-Stop Climax Action". However, what you don't know is that I actually met with Sega for a game similar in both tone and style which I dubbed Thana-Nude the Pistolista. My game, which contained "Hot Sticky Combination Attacks", "Uncomfortable Whimpering Time", as well as "Parent Angering Immoral Fatal Thrust Strikes", focused on Thana-Nude - a 'death fairy ronin' who fell from the sky after the great seperation of the Lost Tombs of Zeebs in the Seventh Ascenion.
