Bayonetta
Dive into the gameplay for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza & The Lost Demon so you can fully understand the origins of Bayonetta
The origin of Bayonetta is almost here with the latest title that Platinum Games on the way to the Nintendo Switch on March 17th. There was the tease we had back at the Game Awards and not much more for us to talk about. That was until the most recent Nintendo Direct that went down where they offered up a solid gameplay overview for us. Something to remind us that Bayonetta Origins: Cereza & The Lost Demon is on the way as well as a bit of a heads-up on what we will have to do in the game itself. It will be something that will be vastly different than what we have been used to before for this IP.
In Bayonetta Origins, we will be playing as both Cereza and here demon partner Cheshire. We are going to be controlling both of the characters in the game with Cereza being more on the support side and holding enemies in place while Cheshire goes out and actually does the hard hitting actions. That is for the combat, at least, where the rest of the traversal and other puzzles will be combination of the two working together to get around. A lot different than we have seen for any of the other Bayonetta titles, but it could be a winning change to keep us all going on the IP while we have little else to work with.
