It is time to head into the Deep South out there and see more of the mythologies that do not normally get highlighted, with the launch for South Of Midnight. This is that little title that Compulsion Games has been working on for the Xbox Series X|S and PC with a fun take on the animation and look of it all on top of the new mythologies some of us will get to explore. The development is done and those who picked up the more deluxe version of the game can be playing it right now, with the rest waiting until April 8th to fully dive into what South Of Midnight. To those still not sold on it, well, here we go with one last look just ahead of the final release that is only a few days away.
For those still waiting until the full launch for South Of Midnight, we have a new video to look at for the game with a new launch trailer out there. One that will give us all a feel for the world we are about to enter into as well as the otherworldly things we are about to experience in the new mythology that many will be experiencing for the first time. It is not often that this part of the culture is explored out there unless it is just to explain away minor things or scare Caucasians out there. Which is why it is still sad to see that South Of Midnight will only be hitting part of the platforms out there instead of all of them. Maybe that will change, but most likely, half of the gaming community will just have to kick back and watch it play out from others instead of getting to experience it all firsthand. Are you already playing South Of Midnight or do you need to wait until the 8th to be able to get the full experience out there? Could this be the game that helps usher in more of these other mythologies out there or will its limited release hold it back just a little bit instead? Could we ever see this one hit the PS5 or Switch down the road or will Microsoft hold onto it with a death grip and leave it only for a minority of gamers out there?
