Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with the week ending on a high note for all of our video games out there. Not just because we were finally able to get our review of People Of Note out to you all, but we had some other big news drop along the way. Like the fact that Metro 2039 is on the way to us all, and that Atomic Heart has its final DLC out there before heading into the sequel. Metro The world of Metro is finally on its way back, with the first reveal and look at the upcoming Metro 2039 True to the word, we have the full reveal and first looks at Metro 2039 after that nice little tease 4A Games gave us at the beginning of the week. Not only all of that, but we have some gameplay and a solid feel for where the title is going. It looks as if Metro 2039 is going to head back into the darkness we all knew from the start, but in a way that is more a reflection of the real-world issues going on and how choices in life can lead to these dark places. That is more of the meta side of things, but I am guessing that Deep Silver will also want you to see just where the game is going to go when it launches this Winter on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Metro The world of Metro is carrying on forward, with the announcement we have for Metro 2039 that is on the way It looks as if we are headed back into the tunnels again, with the announcement that Metro 2039 is on the way. Just that announcement and not much else, as 4A Games and Deep Silver are planning a larger announcement further into this week, but we have a nice little tease to let us know that Metro 2039 is going to be a thing. A nice bit of news after all of the other games that we have had, and the trip into the VR space that we were able to see not too long ago. Metro Head deep into a new Metro station with the announcement that we have for the upcoming Hunted Within: The Metro I know that many of us have had some experience in the setting, but Hunted Within: The Metro is ready to take us further underground and have us pilot our own train to survival. As long as you are ready, get on board with the new title that LRDev Games is gearing up to give us on the PC here. A new title that will have the darkness we can expect in the tunnels of the Metro systems, while trying to make sure we have enough gameplay that makes it stand out from the others. Metro Take another deep step into the world of Metro with some new gameplay for Metro Awakening on the PS VR2 It was teased not so long ago, and now here we are with some new gameplay for Metro Awakening to get us ready for it to launch on November 7th. Such a fast turnaround for the game and something I am sure Deep Silver and Vertigo Games have been working to keep under wraps for a while now. Thankfully, with the release so soon and them wanting us all to play Metro Awakening on the PS VR2, Steam VR, and Meta Quest headsets, we are getting treated to some gameplay for it all. At least for those who will be picking the game up on the PS VR2 headset, as this is a highlight of many of the things that one will offer up to us all as we head back into the world and try to make a bigger name for ourselves out there. Metroid It is time to lose your mind Metroid fans with the recent announcement we have for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond coming in 2025 If there was any worry that Samus Aran was not going to be back at all, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is now announced and heading out there for the Nintendo Switch in 2025. Okay, that is still a good bit to have to wait to get the next title out there, but that just means you can spend more time with the other titles that Retro Studios has out there for the Metroid Prime line already. Metro Get ready to virtually step into the world of Metro with the announcement we have for Metro Awakening There were many surprises and announcements during the most recent State Of Play that PlayStation held, and here we go with Metro Awakening getting added into the mix. If you recognize part of the title from past titles, then you would be on the right track as Deep Silver is working with Vertigo Games to bring us another run in the Metro line of titles and in the massive novel world that has been built. This time, though, it will be on the PC and PS5 in a VR and PS VR2 setting. All so we can better experience the Armageddon that we have not fully been able to experience as of yet. Read More...

Metro The enhanced version of Metro Exodus for the next-gen consoles and PC has a date to watch for so we can all head back into the Metro If you have been patiently waiting to see when Metro Exodus will be getting all of those raytracing and next-gen enhancements, then you will be waiting just a bit longer with the date of this set down for June 18th. No, there was not a delay or anything but we just wanted to make it clear that there will be a little more of a wait as 4A Games gets it all set for the PC gamers as well as the PS5 and Xbox Series X gamers too. That is also right, Metro Exodus is getting all of those sweet upgrades on the next-gen consoles too for those that have been waiting to head back into the game with all of the sweet hardware upgrades we have fought and paid for since it first launched. No Straight Roads The holidays are coming to No Straight Roads, as we have a Christmas Edition for No Straight Roads coming soon It is that time of year again with all of the holiday updates coming to video games and it looks like No Straight Roads is heading down the path now. This all comes with a free update that we are seeing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here soon that will add in the Christmas Edition of the game. All with a bunch of new adventures to have in No Straight Roads but with all of the Christian Mythology themed music that everyone pines over during the month. No Straight Roads No Straight Roads is finally out there for us to enjoy and we have one more taste of No Straight Roads before being able to give it a full try The release of No Straight Roads for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC is finally here and we can take a trip into Vinyl City as you are reading this. We have not had too much to go on for the game before now but it looks like Metronomik is pushing it all out there for us now. Metro A Nintendo Switch version of Metro Redux is now coming and fans of the first two Metro titles will soon be able to take it all on the go with them Good news for those who have been looking to get their dark Russian FPS on with the Switch, as Metro Redux will now be heading to the console there on February 28th. This would be the bundle of the first two titles in the video game version of the franchise from 4A Games that were then remastered for other systems. Now it looks like we are going to be getting it all on the Switch to be able to hunt mutants and survive the wastes of Russia all while searching the Metro. Read More...
