Review: Metro: Last Light Redux
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 22nd of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light Redux. It's only been a Year Since It First Released so did it need the upgrade treatment? Here we go again to enter the Metro for the second time with Metro: Last Light Redux. The fully upgraded version of Metro: Last Light that only hit shelves a little over a year ago. I personally enjoyed the hell out of the game the first go around so it made me wonder if an 'HD Upgrade' was truly needed. I guess I'll get to answer if the latest PS4, XB1, and PC release of the game is worth the price of admission of just another cash grab for fans of the franchise or new players who have yet to experience the fun. Review: Metro: Last Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of May 2013 - 05:09 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metro: Last Light. The wait is over for the sequel to Metro 2033. Metro: Last Light is upon us and is continuing the saga of humanity's decimation and Artyom. Let's get down to brass tacks with how Last Light plays and feels. Story The story picks up with Artyom after following the "bad ending" of 2033. That would be allowing the Dark Ones to get blown to hell after they threatened the last safe haven of humanity in Russia. It turns out that one of these "Dark Ones" survived and has been spotted. Games We Are Looking Forward To In 2013
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 18th of December 2012 - 05:48 PM ]
With the end of the year coming soon and the end of the world coming sooner, I thought now would be a good time to show off some of the games we're most excited for. So let's get right into the goods. First off we have the third installment to the amazingly beautiful franchise of Crysis, with Crysis 3. Developed by Crytek and Published by EA, Crysis 3 takes place twenty-four years after the events of Crysis 2. Players will be taking the role of Prophet again as he returns to New York. Read More...

New Metro: Last Light Trailer
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 11th of December 2012 - 10:28 PM ]
The guys over at THQ and 4A Games have released a new game play trailer for Metro: Last Light. The trailer has the main character, Artyom, reciting a passage from the Christian bible. I believe the passage is Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 2:3. The passage explains how God created the earth in six days and then rested on the seventh. But enough about religious mythology. Let's talk about how amazing this game looks. Read More...

See The Destroyed World Of Metro: Last Light Like I Have
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of July 2012 - 10:20 PM ]
While I am sure that my words painted a perfect picture of what to expect in Metro: Last Light I can totally get that you all want to actually see what I was actually talking about. In my E3 impressions I included a few short looks at the demo I was shown, but 4A Games and THQ have finally supplied us with a full, un-edited version of the demo I was shown. Take a few minutes and try to get the full experience. There we go and much better than the bit shown before. Read More...

E3 2012 Impressions: Metro: Last Light
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of June 2012 - 07:23 PM ]
Some may not know that while at E3 to see some of the titles you are interested in you sometimes have to sit through demos or presentations of games you have no interest in or may have barely heard of. This was the case for me, but it lead to a spectacular showing of Metro: Last Light. I had little to no clue about this horror FPS, outside of the live action trailer (see below), except that it is the sequel to Metro 2033. This was good going into the demonstration as I was able to view it through 'virgin' eyes. So the game play started out like one would expect of any FPS title. Read More...
