DmC: Definitive Edition Shows How Turbo Mode Isn't Cheating
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of February 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
We have a new comparison video for DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition's turbo mode which speeds up the whole game by 20% for those who want that option DmC: Definitive Edition has a turbo mode which is one of the updates for the edition and it is a gameplay modifier that can be turned on if one so chooses. Back in my day, that makes me sound old, turbo mode meant that the controller had an option to turn on so one could just hold down a button and the controller would rapid fire off the command to the system. For DmC: Definitive Edition it ramps up the overall speed of the game by 20% because this is something that apparently was missing in the original version of the game. Read More...

DmC: Definitive Edition is getting Vergil's Bloody Palace mode and we have a few new details on what this mode will include for the DmC fans out there Apparently Vergil's Bloody Palace was one of the biggest requests that fans of DmC had for the DmC: Definitive Edition. Ninja Theory heard that request and it is in the game. This is not a huge secret as it was listed in the additions for the DmC: Definitive Edition coming to the Xbox One and PS4 on March 10th. There were just very few details if it was going to be more than just another character playing through the same mode that was already in the game to start with. Read More...

Review: DmC: Devil May Cry
by Matt Waitt [ Saturday, 2nd of February 2013 - 05:06 PM ]
The reboot of Devil May Cry is not only the best in the series, but breathes new life into the franchise. I personally cannot wait for a DMC 2. I know a lot of you guys cried foul when you saw the new design for Dante, and it's understandable, but at the same time you guys should all calm your damn tits. I thought the old Dante looked too much like a pretty-boy anime character and I really couldn't relate to him all too much. When I saw the new one he reminded me a lot of an 80‘s style Punk rocker, which I like a lot. Read More...

Games We Are Looking Forward To In 2013
by Matt Waitt [ Tuesday, 18th of December 2012 - 05:48 PM ]
With the end of the year coming soon and the end of the world coming sooner, I thought now would be a good time to show off some of the games we're most excited for. So let's get right into the goods. First off we have the third installment to the amazingly beautiful franchise of Crysis, with Crysis 3. Developed by Crytek and Published by EA, Crysis 3 takes place twenty-four years after the events of Crysis 2. Players will be taking the role of Prophet again as he returns to New York. Read More...

Hands-On: DmC Demo
by Matt Waitt [ Wednesday, 21st of November 2012 - 05:43 PM ]
After playing the demo to DmC (Devil May Cry, which came out yesterday) it is safe to say that any naysayers or trash talkers have simply shut their mouths. I remember when the first trailer came out, I was completely stoked for this reboot of the franchise and it looked amazing. Plus I thought the new Dante looked like a total bad ass and not a pretty boy like the original. Shouts of "The new Dante is a tool" and "I miss the old Dante, this new one sucks!" seem to have disappeared from my ear drums. Read More...

Change In Video Games Is Good
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 19th of March 2012 - 11:11 PM ]
Fear is a feeling we have all experienced throughout our lives. It creeps up on us in the dark of night. It claws at our backs when the unknown approaches us. Fear is a very natural emotion in the realm of the real world but why is fear such an almighty powerful force within the realm of video games? Specifically why do we gamers cower in fear from change? Change is a natural force of life. Read More...
