by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of October 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil New ways of loading up are coming for Resident Evil 4 VR that will put us all further into the horror of the Resident Evil IP The horror is almost upon us here for Halloween and also the launch of Resident Evil 4 on October 21st here. Armature has been doing some great work to capture what Capcom brought us so long ago but in a VR space. Given the new space, that also means that many of the controls and features of the original Resident Evil 4 will be altered. Beyond the movement and basic trigger pulling. Read More...

Resident Evil 4 VR Brings The Gameplay This October Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of September 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The release date for Resident Evil 4 VR is set with an October release date to give us all more of the Resident Evil frights We had the tease out there for Resident Evil 4 way back earlier in the year and a small bit of gameplay to enjoy. Nothing that we could write home about at the time from Armature as it was just announced and very little gameplay to look at for it. One thing it did show off was that it looked quite a bit like Resident Evil 4 from back in the day. It is something a little bit needed for the hardware, as it is a release on the Oculus Quest 2 here. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/24/21 — 5/27/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of May 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Sadly, this week has come to an end a bit early here for us even though there are a few more video games getting some big announcements to lead into the end of the week. We will certainly get all of that on the site once we are able to return, but for now, you will have to live with the news for Ratchet & Clank, Resident Evil, and Final Fantasy to keep you all going. Those are some big video games to keep an eye on as we take a short little break on the site for the weekend. Read More...

You Will Be Shown Fear This Summer With Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of May 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The first real look at Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is out there to show us how this will build into the larger Resident Evil story There has been a whole lot of time to dive into the most recent Resident Evil game that has dropped on us, that we almost missed the sneak peek of another item in the IP coming out there. No, this is not a new game that Capcom is bringing to us or some kind of DLC for the current release for those that are not deep into the whole RE line up. This is all for a new Netflix animated serialized drama that we are getting to further progress the lore and try to explain a bit more. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go and wrap one more week in all of the pits of video games out there with all of the releases too. It was a huge week for titles like Resident Evil Village and Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous, but also so many other titles too. Hells, we had a lot for Hood and one last update for the coming episode for Final Fantasy VII Remake too. All to keep us going until today when so many other video games dropped or had massive updates to enjoy in the mix too. Read More...

Ethan Is About To Launch Into The Horror Of Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of May 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The final trailer for Resident Evil Village is here to tease the Resident Evil fans a bit more if they have not tried to spoil the game already For some of us out there, the wait carries on for the release for Resident Evil Village. The date is still set down for tomorrow, May 7th, before anyone starts to worry that Capcom did a last-second delay. It is just worth noting that there is a whole lot of gameplay flooding the market right now for Resident Evil Village and for those, like us, that want to go in blind, it is going to be a little bit of minefield until you can spin the game up. May the gods bless you in dodging all of that. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/19/21 — 4/23/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Finally, we were able to get back on track and have a whole lot of video games to talk about this week. Way more than last week that seemed to hold back on things up until the end when we had all the teases for Resident Evil flow out there and not get covered until this week. Then there were the plethora of horror video games like Wraith, Days Gone, and Song Of Horror get all of those updates in the mix too. There was certainly a whole lot more out this week than before and I have a feeling it is only going to get stronger as we head into the next week too. Read More...

We Can Now Breakdown Some Of The Gameplay For Resident Evil 4 VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The gameplay is finally here for the announced Resident Evil 4 VR and we can see how it will keep the traditional Resident Evil feel with the new setting The announcement for Resident Evil 4 heading into the VR space caught some of all by surprise and left us asking questions. That is kind of how it always goes when we get just a quick reveal and then told by Capcom to wait to get further explanations. I guess it was a good call that the further explanations were only a few days away from the announcement, as we know have a few of the basics on how Resident Evil 4 VR is going to shift from what we knew before but still try to give us the experience we might have wanted. Even if it does seem like some of the action segments will be a nightmare to pull off in a VR setting here. Read More...

Resident Evil 4 Is Getting Redone But In A New VR Setting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The Resident Evil 4 rumors were only partially true with the reveal that Resident Evil 4 VR is going to be a thing out there soon While we are still waiting for the release of the bigger title out there, we have been keeping an eye on the rumors for Resident Evil 4 too. Some of it seems like it stemmed from the way Capcom is using it to inspire Village but also some of it from little things spotted out in the wilds. We tried to brush it off as it all sounded like it was fan hopes and dreams for a new version of Resident Evil 4 or a remaster that has been all of the rage and well-received too. Now we are glad to say that we will be seeing the game redone but in a VR space of it all for the Oculus Quest as of right now. Read More...

So Many More Things Have Dropped Out There For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil Fresh after the Resident Evil Showcase, we have new gameplay and modes announced for Resident Evil Village when it launches for us all It has been a little bit of time since the most recent Resident Evil Showcase we had last week, but we needed a bit to be able to take in everything that seemed to have dropped out of all of that. There was quite a bit and still much more that Capcom has under wraps until the May 7th release date but that does not mean we do not have a whole lot more to dive into. We just received a whole lot of new gameplay and story elements for Resident Evil Village and the various little spin-offs from that and we have word of a classic mode making its way back into it all. This Week In Video Games 4/12/21 — 4/15/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is not fully over for most of the community out there, but we have to call it a short week here. It was a slow week, for the most part, and we had a few video games get the highlight but it did feel like slim pickings up until today with the Resident Evil showcase here. There was a bit more for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Returnal, but there have been more rumors and speculations out there more than anything. Granted, we are calling it early and we could see many video games drop out there late today and tomorrow, but I have a feeling it is going to be quiet for the rest of the week. Read More...

Get Ready To Watch The Showcase Coming For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil The Resident Evil showcase is about to air and you can join us in watching to see what new footage we will have for Resident Evil Village The time is almost here for the Resident Evil showcase that we had teased last week and a few little bits from Capcom already, but in a short time from this posting we will have it all. All to help build some hype before May 7th and the release of Resident Evil Village but it sounds like there could be a few other things in the mix too. My guess is that there will be some things for the coming shows and film in addition to the hype of the upcoming bigger title. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/5/21 — 4/9/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This week is finally over and it was weirdly a little light on the massive news for the video games out there, but there was still a whole lot out there. Mostly in the good news out there with more to look for with Resident Evil Village and Erica to enjoy. We did get to see video games like Deathloop get a delay too. As I said, it was a little all over the place with news but we do have Oddworld: Soulstorm and Destroy All Humans! Read More...

New Teases & Gameplay Is On The Way For Resident Evil Village
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A tease for the next Resident Evil Showcase is here to give us just a little more for Resident Evil Village before next week It may not be a massive update but it is a bit of an update for Resident Evil Village with things set down for the next big showcase. Sadly, this is an announcement for an announcement that Capcom and others like to do, but it does give us something to look forward to for next week. Those things being some new gameplay for Resident Evil Village and the continuing beta for the RE:Verse part that is currently firing off. I have a feeling we will have more from the Beta than in the actual showcase, but we will know for certain on April 15th when this all kicks off at 3 pm PST. Read More...
