New Gameplay For Space Hulk: Deathwing Has Finally Landed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new bit of gameplay for Space Hulk: Deathwing has been released and goes into detail on some of Space Hulk: Deathwing's locations and combat we will need to master It's been over a year since we last had any kind of look at Space Hulk: Deathwing. There have been a few updates here and there out of Streum On Studio to let us know the development is still flowing and they are using Focus Home Interactive's money in the proper way but we have yet to see much in the way of gameplay. Space Hulk: Deathwing is slated to release sometime this year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so it would be nice to get to see something well before the release and not a few weeks out. I know I'd like that at least. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of March 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light Dying Light is getting even larger now as now with Dying Light: The Following we are getting four community maps to all of the platforms and not just PC Just when you thought that Dying Light: The Following couldn't get any larger on all platforms it looks like it is. Maybe you remember back when Techland offered up the developer tools to the PC community and modders went crazy making some awesome stuff? Remember when people like me speculated on if the console players would ever get to see these new maps being built? If you do or you don't it doesn't matter as it looks like Dying Light on the PS4 and Xbox One are now going to be getting some of these maps and we have the first four to look at. Read More...

Time For A Showdown In Dying Light: The Following & Be The Zombie
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light Be The Zombie mode is back for Dying Light: The Following and it has been given a few tweaks and updates to make this 4v1 online experience in Dying Light even more intense with the new expansion Only a few days now until Dying Light: The Following is available for us all to enjoy. One would think that Techland had already shown us all the good stuff for the huge expansion so far but it looks like they had yet another thing up their sleeves. While it did make sense for it to still be in the game as it was on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC already, the Be The Zombie mode is coming back for Dying Light: The Following. Of course with the alterations included to make it balanced again given the new updates and changes coming with the expansion. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Dying Light: The Following A new Dying Light: The Following trailer has been released and it shows off some of the ways that we can Weaponize our ride in Dying Light: The Following The wait for Dying Light: The Following is now down to only a few weeks now and we have another great look at how we are going to be using those new dirt buggies in the game. It's been no secret that Techland was going to have us altering and upgrading our wheels in Dying Light: The Following when it hits on February 9th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but the level of extent has kind of been muffled. That is until now. Read More...

See How Those Sweet Rides In Dying Light: The Following Handle
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Dying Light During the PlayStation Experience Dying Light: The Following was shown off a bit more including the recently added dirt buggies to Dying Light and all of the other changes incoming With the recent price increase for Dying Light: The Following I know some out there have been calling to see true reason behind this increase. Techland can give all the reasons on paper that they can but that will never sate the rabid Dying Light fan out there. They want to know that they are not just going to be padding the wallets of those over at Warner Bros. Read More...

The Black Glove Is Now Coming To The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of October 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new trailer for The Black Glove and PS4 support has been announced from the former Irrational Games devs Looks like there has been another huge update to The Black Glove even though the Kickstarter campaign is still about $400,000 short of being funded. It looks like enough people have asked for it and The Black Glove is also slated for a PS4 release on top of the PC release already stated. Of course that is if they get funded or find some kind of outside funding if the campaign fails. I guess all of those people excited for The Black Glove better get funding the project or better get hoping that Day For Night Games can get the project complete without the high asking price. The Black Glove Is What Is Next For Those Ex-Irrational Games Developers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new game called The Black Glove is in the works from ex-Irrational Games developers, Day For Night Games, and they need you help to get the game finished Back when Irrational Games was winding down and people were losing jobs over there, there was a big question as to what was going to become of some of the people who didn't move along with Ken Levine. There is still not much know except that a small group from said team have now banded together to bring us The Black Glove. The team in question here is called Day For Night Games and it comprises mostly of those who were responsible for BioShock Infinite, that game's DLC, and the original BioShock. Read More...

Review: Anomaly 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of September 2014 - 09:02 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Anomaly 2 on the PS4. How does this little Real-Time Strategy/Tower Defense Game Fair? Watch and find out In the mix of all the AAA titles being released, announced, and talked about we had Anomaly 2 slip out onto the PS4 as a digital title. It is another title that looks to break the mold when it comes to genre as most still cannot define Anomaly 2 as a Tower Defense style game or a Real-Time Strategy title. In fact it has a mix of both play styles carrying the game on and into our gaming libraries; but should it enter yours? Lucky for you I had a chance to play Anomaly 2 through both in Campaign and Multiplayer modes of the game. Read More...

More Space Marines With Space Hulk: Deathwing On The PS4, Xbox One, & PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new 'summer' trailer has been released for Space Hulk: Deathwing coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC If you have an illness and the only cure is more space marines then look no further than Space Hulk: Deathwing. This is the latest in the Space Hulk franchise, at least in the video game world, and it definitely looks like it is going to have a cure for that illness. As if there weren't already enough of those franchises coming out later this year or in 2015 but different stokes for different folks I guess. You can take that phrase in whatever way you want but I meant it in the most Puritanical way that I know. Read More...

by Kenton Winkfield [ Thursday, 19th of December 2013 - 06:27 PM ]
Review Of The Harvest By South African Indie Developers Luma Arcade Are you busy and looking for a game to play that doesn't require all your attention? Is solitaire not intensive enough to fill that free time? Do you not have a mouse readily available to play most games and are left with only one free hand and a trackpad? Well that sucks, but maybe you'll want to look into The Harvest. The Harvest is a top-down action RPG set in the future from South African Developers, Luma Arcade. Read More...

Pre-PAX East Speculations
by Fred Buell [ Monday, 18th of March 2013 - 11:21 PM ]
With PAX East less than a week away let's get a look at everything going down this coming weekend. Firstly, we have the recently re-announced Saints Row 4 from Volition and their new owners Deep Silver. Nothing about this game aside from the release date and a fluff trailer has been shown. What do you expect from the newest installment of the Saints franchise? Personally I expect the game to be even more insane, with hopefully a deeper customization, as I felt Saints Row III pulled back a bit from we had in Saints Row II. Also, Deep Silver is showing off the new installment of Dead Island franchise, Dead Island: Riptide. Read More...

Indie Game Of The Month: A Valley Without Wind
by Fred Buell [ Thursday, 28th of June 2012 - 06:33 PM ]
For all those lovers of classic action games or side scrolling RPGs; look no further than A Valley Without Wind. When I spoke with the developers from Arcen Games at PAX East last April, they had said they loved the old 2D actioners like Super Metroid, Castlevania and so on. They said the one thing they hate about those games is 'they end.' A Valley Without Wind plays just like the aforementioned games with a hint of MMO and one huge difference. It doesn’t end and the maps a randomly generated. Read More...

E3 2012 Hands On: Neverwinter
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of June 2012 - 11:29 PM ]
Talk about another title that wasn't on my radar until I got a chance to sit down and actually have some good hands on with. The title in the instance is Neverwinter. Another attempt at making the perfect version of Dungeons&Dragons into an interactive video game. In this attempt though, I feel that they are just about spot on with what I was able to play. Just as a heads up, I was only able to get handsie with the Wizard class, although it felt more like a Sorcerer. The first thing I have to say that impressed me was the fact that the game deviates from the "tab" based combat system and takes on a very active based one. Read More...

If you read our previous article about XBox Live and Its new TV streaming service then you already know that and XBox Live Gold account will be required to access most of these new features. Well in a screen shot today submitted by a reader over at GiantBomb AT&T U-verse is actually crediting users who want to use the XBox Live feature the cost of a single year's subscription.
