Review: World Of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
by Matt Waitt [ Thursday, 11th of October 2012 - 11:06 PM ]
Mists of Pandaria is World of Warcraft's fourth expansion since its beginning in 2004. Featuring over 1,800 achievements, a new race, a new class, a whole new continent to explore and much more. Mists of Pandaria was released back in September and I'm finally writing up a review for it, simply because I have experience enough of the expansion to finally give it a worthwhile review. So the level cap has been increased five levels. While that might not seem much, the ramp up from 85 to 90 is enormous. Read More...

Mists Of Pandaria Trailer Finally Released
by Matt Waitt [ Thursday, 16th of August 2012 - 09:43 PM ]
Today Blizzard has finally released the cinematic trailer for the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft called "Mists of Pandaria." The cinematic features a lot of mist and some good old fashioned fighting. Not to mention a little naval battle that is pretty cool. Mists of Pandaria comes out September 25th, 2012. I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on this expansion, with the raised level cap of 90, a whole new continent to explore, new raids, dungeons and of course loot. Fat, fat loot. Read More...

by Brian Bentley [ Monday, 28th of November 2011 - 10:14 PM ]
Matt joins Brian and Corey again for Aggrocast hijinks, including being completely disconnected from the call. The format jumps around as Brian and Corey wax poetic on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as they wait for Matt to return and they generally talk about what they've been playing including Batman: Arkham Asylum, WoW, Braid and Fusion: Sentient. We may have bounced around a bit, but your favorite features are still there. Care / Don't Care has the guys hitting up another eight topics and Community Spotlight shines on the Ghoul Girls. Every year BlizzCon bring some of the most amazing talent to their closing ceremonies at BlizzCon and this year is no exception. Usually fans wait patiently to find out who will be this year's guest and Blizzard has really outdone themselves. With past musical performances by Tenacious D, Ozzy Osbourne and The Offspring, this year we will welcome the Foo Fighters will grace the stage at the Anaheim convention center during the event held October 21st - 22nd. Without further adieu here are some goodies for you guys. Review: World Of Warcraft: Cataclysm
by Corey Dockendorf [ Thursday, 30th of December 2010 - 06:51 PM ]
Blizzard's World of Warcraft is the current definitive MMO. With six years of collected content, twelve million players, and three expansions, it doesn't look like WoW is going anywhere soon. Blizzard had built an empire, but to strengthen the empire's walls, it would have to rebuild itself from the inside out. For the past six years, in order for a player to reach the cap level of 80, players had to grind through some of the most grueling quests we've seen since Everquest. Kill, collect, rinse, repeat, this was the old scenario until Wrath of the Lich King. Read More...

It's been six years to the day since the original release of World of Warcraft and how does Blizzard celebrate? By destroying the old world of Azeroth compliments of a big angry dragon made of fire and metal. According to a forum post by moderator Zaryhm the latest patch 4.0.3a has gone live on servers today thus changing the way denizens of Azeroth have adventured for years. The cinematic below is the same that you will see when you first login to your account, so if you haven't seen it (doubtful), or don't want to spoil it (your call) don't watch it! Let's take a quick look at what this new patch is actually brought today. Read More...

Blizzard Officially Announces Cataclysm Release Date
by Corey Dockendorf [ Monday, 4th of October 2010 - 03:07 PM ]
Blizzard finally graces us with the official announcement for the release of World of Warcraft: Cataclsym. I'm pretty sure everyone has figured it out by now, but it's nice to see that now it's "Official" and no longer simply speculation. Deathwing is coming and he's bringing a boat load of destruction with him. With an increase of the level cap to 85, two new races and a complete restructure of the old world, this is revving up to probably be the best expansion yet. So if you haven't already reserved your pre-order, digital download or time off from work on December 8th, you have plenty of time to make your arrangements and hit the ground running when the expansion comes out.
