Multiplayer In My God Of War. Say What?!?

When it was first announced that God Of War: Ascension was going to be a prequel I was iffy and questioned the choice. Now it has been revealed during a press viewing that there is going to be that Multiplayer teased and rumored since GoW3. Yea, that's right. In a game that is pretty much designed from the start as a single player story driven game we are getting some multiplayer added on as well. I guess before we get all up in arms about this, let's take a look at what is planned. Lollipop Chainsaw Has Some Crazy Threesome Action

While I am sure all of your minds went straight to some crazy ass sex scene for Lollipop Chainsaw, I am talking about the threesome that is the Starling Sisters. Ok, well that also didn't come out sounding right either and you all probably went somewhere very twisted and pornographic again. For shame. But what I am talking about here is that a trailer for the game was just released and it showcases how the three sisters will interact in the game. God Of War: Ascension Announced. Another Prequel?

PAX East Hands-On: Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2 is a massive improvement from the first installment. The controls are super smooth and tight. The feeling of level grinding seems to have disappeared, thankfully. Having other colors in the game, rather than just brown, has really showed off the rich and beautiful landscape that the world of Pandora has to offer. I got to play as the new Siren in the game: Maya. Her special ability stuns her enemies in a blackish purple vortex allowing you to get off some free shots. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: Aliens: Colonial Marines

I had the privilege to speak with the senior producer of Aliens: Colonial Marines at PAX East over the weekend. They were also giving a demo of the Multiplayer. The Multiplayer was very team oriented and forced you to work together to defeat your opponents. The only mode we played was Team Deathmatch. The marines would all huddle around each other and pick off the Xenomorphs as they tried to separate the marines. One on one a marine has a very high chance of losing to a Xenomorph mainly due to its "pounce" ability. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: Lollipop Chainsaw

During PAX East I got to get some playtime with Lollipop Chainsaw and interviewed the legendary Suda 51. Lollipop Chainsaw had some very smooth and tight controls, chaining attacks between kicking and swinging the chainsaw was simple enough to button mash if you wish, but at the same time complex enough to satisfy those who frown upon the mashing of buttons. The demo started off in a farm-like area, where some good ol' zombies popped up and begged for me to slay them (not really, but I could tell they were asking for it). Every time zombies pop up there is a counter on-screen that tells you exactly how many are there and need to kill. Read More...

Diablo III Release Date Announced

We finally have a date for the burning hells to be unleashed upon us. Blizzard announced that Diablo III will officially be released on May 15th 2012. "After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we’re now in the homestretch," said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15." New Borderlands 2 Trailer Brings The 'WubWub'

The guys over at Gearbox Software have released a new trailer for their upcoming sequel to their smash hit Borderlands simply titled Borderlands 2. I loved playing Borderlands, the questlines; the stories and the loot were all hilariously amazing. Not to mention it has one of my favorite zombie stories ever, Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC which is just how a zombie story should be. The new trailer features a lot of "Wub Wub" dubstep garbage, but it can be easily muted via the volume bar on your player. Read More...

I Love The Concept Of Video Games Live

Add Another Title To The PS Vita's List, Mortal Kombat

Today it was announced that Zachary Levi will be hosting the 2011 Video Game Awards on Spike TV. Before you click away from this article and roll your eyes, let's take a look at the VGAs and this press release in particular before you pre-judge the fledgling award show.
