by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty It looks like Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is available to play right now for those who pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Earlier in the week we were able to see the launch trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. We thought it was a bit odd for Activision to pump this out almost a month before the launch of Infinity Ward's upcoming title that it came bundled with but we rolled with it. Especially since it was looking like you needed to have the physical disc for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare in the system to actually give the game a play. That is until now for those who have happened to pre-order it all on the PS4 as there is a nice little surprise going on right now. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Is Giving Us Some Flashbacks
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has released and it gives quite a recap of what happened in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare the first time It seems a bit odd to have a launch trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered already given that it doesn't come out until November 4th but that doesn't mean we don't have it already. To be fair this was just a remastered version of the game Infinity Ward gave us so long ago but it does feel odd that Activision would pump out the trailer so far in advance. Oh well. Read More...

Call Of Duty A new gameplay session for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has been released and it shows off just how well a Call Of Duty can hold up when taken care of Hopefully by now we all know that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is being remastered for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will be bundled up with Infinite Warfare when it lands on November 4th. How To Make A Better Call Of Duty
by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 5th of April 2013 - 10:53 PM ]
With yearly installments coming from two different teams of developers and a horde of mindless followers, I felt it would be nice if I gave my two cents on how to improve upon the stagnant Call of Duty formula before it turns into the next Guitar Hero or Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. So let's see what's wrong with the formula now. 1.) Lag Compensation. Read More...

Well, it's that time of year again. Leaves are falling. It's getting colder. And like clockwork, a new Call Of Duty has hit the streets. Not that I should really have to say it, but that would be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for those who didn't see the title or clicked in at random. That also means it is time for us to review this little title and see if it should be a game you add to your home collection. The Story Everything picks back up right after Modern Warfare 2. If you recall, those crazy Russians are still running amok and fucking up everyone's good time. Read More...

Modern Warfare 3 May Have Been A Hoax, But Battlefield 3 Is Not
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of March 2011 - 06:36 PM ]
So while the Modern Warfare 3 counter was technically a hoax, the rumors that EA was going to bring something to GDC for the announced Battlefield 3 were not. In fact EA brought with them a little bit of game play for all of the FPS fans out there to gush over and whine about how long the wait for the game is going to be. If you just got offended by that, odds are you just thought how long the wait is going to be. Don't lie. Read More...

Could We Be Seeing Modern Warfare 3 At GDC?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of February 2011 - 05:22 PM ]
So we are either going to get a look at the next billion dollar game from Activision or one of the best pranks run on fans of the Modern Warfare franchise. A new site,, has begun to be passed around the net. It doesn't feature anything stating Modern Warfare 3 on it but it does have a countdown with the franchise know font face. Not to mention the site name does link back to the "villain" of Modern Warfare 2. In all actuality, this is most likely a nice little tease for what Activision is going to show off at GDC. Infinity Ward Keeps Melting Down
by Brian Goodman [ Friday, 16th of April 2010 - 05:17 PM ]
You can not follow game industry news and not have noticed the countless reports of the drama currently going on between publishing giant Activision and successful Call Of Duty developer Infinity Ward. Even legitimate news sources have covered the huge lawsuit frenzy that has been going on. Today, industry analysts have suggested that as many as 20 more Infinity Ward Employees are projected to no longer be employed by the company in a month's time (source Gamespot). Even though strong sales of the Modern Warfare 2 map pack DLC suggest a short term financial positive for Activision, the stock has continued to go down. I may not be a business tycoon or an expert economist, but I do know this Activision. Read More...

Top Heads of Infinity Ward Leave
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 2nd of March 2010 - 11:07 PM ]
This morning many awoke to rumors quickly circulating the internet and news sites about prominent figures at Infinity Ward being fired by Activision, supposedly even with "bouncers" removing them from their offices. Patrick Klepek of G4's The Feed initially broke the possible story. The rumors began gaining credibility as Jason West's Linkedin page now stated he used to work for Infinity Ward and a Facebook status claimed unemployment. Activision finally confirmed the rumors late this afternoon/early evening. Jason West and Vince Zampella have both been let go from the developer. Read More...

Review: Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2
by Ben Brody [ Friday, 13th of November 2009 - 03:33 AM ]
As I looked at the massive amount of people at my local GameStop that were in line to pickup MW2, it dawned on me, this is the biggest, most anticipated, and what could be the best selling action game of all time. Over 300 people were standing in the cold for some four hours waiting for the same thing. Many of them planned on calling in sick the next day or skipping out on school just to get some playtime in. Many people were reminiscing about COD4 or saying how they played a bunch of COD4 to get psyched up about MW2. Read More...

War Zones, Zombies, Hip Hop, And 'Film Actors Guild'

The below thoughts are those of me, David, and not those of or Send all hate mail and comments to me, or post them below. Just do the favor of not posting Annon and thus the wuss way out. With Modern Warfare and Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles both gracing shelves in the next two weeks, one after the other, it would seem time for the final launch trailers to hit the webs to give us even more reason to want these games. Like there is anyone that doesn't already want Modern Warfare and there is no Nintendophile that couldn't use another great zombie rail shooter. Am I right? Read More...
