by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games This has been a productive week for video games hasn't it? More on Mortal Kombat X, a delay for Batman: Arkham Knight, some more for Mad Max, and reviews…reviews…reviews! Five reviews in one week and we still have a few more in the works. All kinds of video games releasing and we have to review them right? Of course we do just as long as we can keep up on all of the other news that comes out for any and all video games out there. Review — Shiftlings
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Shiftlings. Is it worth your time? Do the quirky puzzles work out? Here's Our Video Review On the outside Shiftlings doesn't look like it does much to the puzzle and platforming genre for video games. Looks can and are deceiving all the time though and Rock Pocket Games is setting out to give us something we haven't experienced in a while for those two genres. Do they succeed? Do they fail? Watch The Shiftlings Orientation Video & Don't Get F.I.R.E.D.
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Shiftlings has been released and it shows off a few of the ways that you will die or fail the mission ahead Look at that. We have a new trailer for that quirky little platforming title called Shiftlings from Sierra and Rock Pocket Games. We first saw something along the PS4 and Xbox One version of Shiftlings about a month ago now. This is that little space "reality TV" show game where you and your buddy are connected via a tube and forced to shrink and expand to move around the puzzling levels. Go back and see what I am talking about because we are ever moving forward and that is what we are going to do here for Shiftlings. Read More...

Shiftlings Has A Publisher & Coming To Next Gen Consoles Too
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of January 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Sierra is set to publish Shiftlings for its PS4, Xbox One, and PC release later this year. Also a new trailer We all need more puzzle games and Shiftlings is now another title to get thrown into the mix for the PS4 and Xbox One. It was already greenlit on Steam but that wasn't enough for Rock Pocket Games I guess as now they are having Sierra publish the title. It was announced back in 2013 and greenlit in 2014 so there is a nice progression to watch and good on them all for making a title that a rather well known publisher wants to call their own. Hopefully you know your history on all of this since we will not be going in too deep into all of that here. Read More...

Incoming Phat Loot Weekend For Borderlands 2
by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 26th of October 2012 - 05:14 PM ]
If you own Borderlands 2 and have a Twitter account, then you should know by now that Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, and Gearbox Software tweet out Golden Key codes that can be redeemed using the "SHiFT" program on Borderlands 2. These codes last for about three hours and have a "once per account" use. Golden Keys are used to open a special golden loot chest in Sanctuary. The higher your level, the better the loot. Review: Need For Speed Shift
by Ben Brody [ Wednesday, 23rd of September 2009 - 12:01 PM ]
Let's be honest, NFS Undercover was bad, and EA knew it, that's why they handed development of the latest game in the series to Slightly Mad Studios, who had previously made the GTR series. The game encounters problems that aren't necessarily it's own fault. The driving is good, great even, the issue is that both Forza 3 and Gran Turismo 5 are coming out around the corner, and with most people's opinions about Need For Speed soured by the last iteration, it'll be hard to convince them to go with Shift. That said, EA does a really good job. It's nice to see EA ditch the ridiculous story mode (IE: undercover cop looking to bust an illegal drug trade by infiltrating some illegal street racing club) in favor of what a racing game should be about: THE RACING.
