The release date is now set for this new adventure of Little Goody Two Shoes. The final touches have been put on by AstralShift to make sure it is ready and now we will have one more title for this Halloween. Yes, Little Goody Two Shoes will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on October 31st. Before you think it is not a title that should be there, well, we have a bit more to show you for the game to explain it all. While the name sounds like it would be a wholesome experience, it is a horror-narrative game that will give many of us a solid blast from the past. The youngs might call it retro now. I have given up following what twisted mix of vernacular everyone uses now.
To go along with this release date announcement, we have a new trailer for Little Goody Two Shoes to enjoy in the mix. The first half digging into the "cutesier" side of things in the game with the second half showing the darkness we are going to be exploring in the game. It is not going to be to the level of a traditional horror title, but with a stark contrast between the chores and helpfulness, we will have to do during the day and the tombs we will explore at night. All with Little Goody Two Shoes sporting the visuals of the games many of us "olds" grew up with in the 90s and 00s. Square Enix Collective has today announced a release date of October 31, 2023, for Little Goody Two Shoes, a mysterious new fairytale anime adventure with a dark twist. The narrative-focused horror adventure game is developed by AstralShift, an independent game development team based in Portugal and dedicated to creating stunning cinematic and narrative games with immersive storylines and evoking soundtracks.
Set in the mysterious Kieferberg Village, Little Goody Two Shoes is stylistically inspired by PlayStation, PlayStation 2 RPGs, and 90s/00s anime. The game is centered around Elise, an ambitious lass determined to become rich and escape her humble life.
Be ready to step into Elise’s shoes and soon find yourself immersed in a ’90s-inspired horror adventure game.
It is a fun thing to see how Little Goody Two Shoes is going to have such harsh changes between things in the game. Some where the townsfolk love our protagonist and others where there is paranoid hatred in the mix. A title for those who want to have a little spooky in the mix but do not need all of the blood and gore that usually comes in these kinds of games. I am curious to see if Little Goody Two Shoes will have any solid jump scares in the horror aspect of things or if it will just be the setting and themes that place it there. Thankfully, we do not have to wait too long to get to see how all of this is going to play out with Halloween not too far away.
