by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of May 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Mass Effect The launch of the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is finally here and we have one more look at how this is upgrading the Mass Effect experience I am sure there is a vast group of gamers out there that already know this, but the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is finally here for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Today, May 14th, is the day it is out there and you can head right back into the title that helped make a name for BioWare right now if you so choose to do that. Something that will let you experience the long history of the Mass Effect IP but with all of the crazy bells and whistles that the higher-end hardware can offer up to us all. Read More...

Here Is Just How Far Advanced The Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect A new comparison video for the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is here to show how far we have come from the original Mass Effect It should come as no surprise that the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is going to look, visually, superior to the original version of it all. That is kind of the whole reason that we are getting this new version of the game from BioWare so we can experience the way our brains remember it all and not the way it actually was. Yes, this is a slam to not only Mass Effect but all of those games from years ago we remember were "groundbreaking" in the visual department and not just the gameplay ones. All of which is something I can already feel my future self thinking as we all look back at how our current titles look. Read More...

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Could Be Coming Home This March
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of January 2021 - 08:00 PM ]
Mass Effect The Mass Effect: Legendary Edition could be bringing us all of the Mass Effect titles again this coming March if listings are true It looks like it might be possible that we are going to be seeing the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition before the end of March, if all of the listings spotted online turn out to be true. As in, by March 21th we could all be diving back into the three titles out there on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC given that is what is showing up with BioWare still keeping the Spring of 2021 timeline going. It fits in and all of these reports are coming in from some retailers, so it could be the case. Read More...

There Is A New Mass Effect On Its Way To Us In The Future
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of December 2020 - 06:00 PM ]
Mass Effect It has been revealed that the Mass Effect franchise will continue with a new Mass Effect teased over the weekend Mark us all down as not surprised, as we have a new Mass Effect: Andromeda title coming to us in the future. When? There is no idea. For which platforms? That is still debatable as BioWare has just given us a teaser to look at and not much else. We can make some assumptions based on it all, though, and I think it is safe to assume this Mass Effect will hit us on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Maybe some of the older generation systems too but, again, we only have the basics to assume and not much else with how little we have and everyone to get excited over. Read More...

From Fort Tarsis To The Hidden Depths Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
Anthem More footage for Anthem is out there again, with a little bit of all the different gameplay we can expect in Anthem at launch The month of Anthem is still rolling out there as we fly toward the February 22nd release date and now we have a look at something other than shooting things with weird energy. That has been most of what BioWare has shown us since the game we first announced and I am sure that EA had something to do with that, but now we have a look at more for the game than just that. We do have more of the shooting and blowing things up we can expect in Anthem, but we also have a look at how the dialog will play out and how we will have some impact on it all as we go. Intercept The Storm With The Javelins Of Anthem
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 11th of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. Read More...

New Gameplay Shows Off How Amazing Anthem Could Look
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
Anthem During the NVIDIA CES 2019 keynote, new Anthem gameplay was revealed that shows just how good Anthem could look if you are willing to go PC CES 2019 has kicked off and that means we will start seeing all kinds of videos and trailers showing off the new tech coming just as we have here for Anthem. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at here but the bigger news here is that DLSS is coming to the PC version of the game for those who use an NVIDIA card to drive their games. I am sure that EA would like you to remember that Anthem is coming and that you should pre-order it now, but that would outshine the news that you can get it bundled in with your new GeForce RTX graphics card, laptops, or PCs. Anthem Will Let You Tell Your Story In Their World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of September 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Anthem Two new concepts for Anthem have been shown off in terms of story choices in the world of Anthem as you play out the designed story New gameplay for Anthem is here and this new bit shows off the two new elements of the game that BioWare is working hard on to expand the game further than a space-age shooter. In their true manner, it looks like we are going to be able to craft our own story in the game now and expand out their world. This is at least as it sounds here even though it more or less equates to Anthem having a branching narrative with our choices have consequences along the way. Read More...

The Only Good Bug Is A Dead Bug In The Anthem E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Anthem The E3 demo for Anthem has made its way online for us all to see and dig into, as there may have been things in Anthem you missed before This year at E3, Anthem was one of the larger titles many were talking about and getting hyped up for even with as little as there had been before the show started. It is always weird to see a whole lot of hype build up with such little information before, but this is another BioWare title so I guess fans will be fans. That all said, EA had Anthem down around the show for fans to try to get some hands-on time with or just see what they were getting all hyped up about. Read More...

Here We Go With Mass Effect: Andromeda's 1.05 Patch
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect What does Mass Effect: Andromeda look like with less bugs? Hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda's latest patch will show us Tomorrow (4/6) BioWare’s 1.05 patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available. Down below I’ll leave a link to BioWare’s blog post with the patch notes since I’m going to only gloss over the big ones, and for the fact, I don’t play the multiplayer. The first patch note if “Improved Tutorial Placement” which to me seems odd since I don’t know how they could improve that and what was wrong with it. The opening for Mass Effect: Andromeda was very clunky in every aspect of the word but I felt that was more of a story problem than any oddly placed tutorials. Read More...

Review — Mass Effect: Andromeda
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. We've had some time and now we delve into a full review of Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello again Mass Effect fans. Welcome to my review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I won’t take much time discussing bugs and things I covered in my first impressions article, but I will get the bad out of the way first. If you’re going to pick this game up then get a can of Raid with it because the bugs are plentiful. One experience I had was on a mission you get from Vetra. Read More...

First Impressions — Mass Effect: Andromeda
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 21st of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. The game just came out but here's some quick reasons to buy or not buy Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello, dear readers. This is more of a first impression than an actual review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I picked this game up early and due to my schedule at the beginning of writing this, I am only about five hours into the game. I also played this pre-patch, but I do realize as time goes on and patches get released from BioWare it may render some of these observations irrelevant. I felt this was pertinent information to let you know as I will have a complete review for Mass Effect: Andromeda sometime following this one, but to also let you know how this Mass Effect is right now if you are wary about picking it up due to the ‘animation’ controversy. Squad-Up With Mass Effect: Andromeda's New Multiplayer Mode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect The multiplayer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been shown off here and now we can see just how our friends can help us in Mass Effect: Andromeda in-game Questions on Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer mode have been all the rage as of late since it was let loose that BioWare was not going to be having any kind of 'beta' before March 21st when it is supposed to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I've seen people go as far as claim that there will be no multiplayer at launch due to that, but I'm here to tell you that all is bupkis as we now have a good look at it all. Don't get your little Mass Effect hearts all worked up for nothing except for the excitement that the game is almost here now. Read More...
