Anthem
More footage for Anthem is out there again, with a little bit of all the different gameplay we can expect in Anthem at launch
The month of Anthem is still rolling out there as we fly toward the February 22nd release date and now we have a look at something other than shooting things with weird energy. That has been most of what BioWare has shown us since the game we first announced and I am sure that EA had something to do with that, but now we have a look at more for the game than just that. We do have more of the shooting and blowing things up we can expect in Anthem, but we also have a look at how the dialog will play out and how we will have some impact on it all as we go. Maybe something to the level of the episodic titles out there, but I have a feeling that will not be the case in the end.
The first bit of footage we have here for Anthem goes into all of what I was just speaking of. It is a quick look at Fort Tarsis where we will be upgrading our javelins and learning more the world of the game. Not to mention full dialog sequences akin to other BioWare titles out there so we can try to have a nice and diverse story in Anthem when we wrap. You can see it all flow out just below as it dives into most of that side of the game than we have seen in the past. It will please all of those fans out there who have been looking for a new game like this. Have a look.
Anthem — 7 Minutes Of Fort Tarsis Exploration
A first look at the Story space in Anthem, the characters you'll meet, and the systems that'll be available while you're exploring Fort Tarsis.
Now that you have seen the more boring side of Anthem there, you can dig into all of the explosions and shootouts that have grabbed the attention of gamers since the announcement. It also shows off how the flow of a normal mission should feel from acquiring it to moving through different objectives. Surprise, it is about the same as we could assume given the setting and developer. Yes, there is a nice little scene that plays out and then the rest is moving from location to location with a bit of banter between characters to further things along. All of which leads to a boss fight over the most protected book ever.
Anthem — 10 Minutes Of Hidden Depths
The Hidden Depths mission from start to finish edited for pacing, but rolling in with a three man team of the Interceptor, Storm, and Colossus javelins.
Has anything changed for Anthem in your eyes after all of this or did it all flow as you figured? Do you think there will be more to the game besides rehashing the developer's old styles or will it be about that all the way through? Do you think we will see more epic scenes play out for the story or will it all be about the same as we see here? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Anthem, keep coming back here. We will keep all of the updates flowing to you as best that we can.
