Today more songs were revealed for Harmonix's Dance Central at Gamescom 2010. Currently one of the only games worth purchasing Microsoft's Kinect, Dance Central combines music, fun and dancing to create an experience unlike any other. I know that phrase is used an awful lot in this industry, but after experiencing it for myself at E3, I can definitively say I will purchase a XBox 360 and a Kinect specifically for this title. With today's announcement, the song list increases to 20. With only 30+ songs promised on the disc, you may be concerned about the depth of the roster, but with a list that now includes Rihanna's "Pon de Replay" and Technotronic's "Pump Up the Jam", I don't think you have too much to worry about. A few weeks ago Spike TV posed this question to God of War fans all over North America with a casting call for their show God of War: The Last Titan Standing. A show that was designed to place true God of War fans into the action of the game by recreating some challenges Kratos endured in his epic story. On December 12th of ’09, Spike TV held their 7th annual Video Games Award. The Nominees were in, the ballets were turned in and it was time to find out who won. We could go through every award, but we all know we just want to know who won the 2009 Game of the Year. Well the Nominees for Game of the Year were Assassin’s Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Harmonix and MTV announced today that they are gonna rock your socks off with the latest DLC for Rock Band just in time for Halloween. The pack for the PS3, XBox 360, and Nintendo Wii will include songs from Rob Zombie, Wolfmother as well as tracks from Liz Phair and Morningwood. All to be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store. WCG Ultimate Gamer Episode 1 Review For those who are not in the know, there is a new 'reality' show on Sci Fi that premiered last night. For those further not in the know, it is a show that pits some of the best professional and not so professional gamers in a weekly challenge based show to let them prove they are the Ultimate Gamer.
