Preorders for Sony's highly anticipated exclusive Resistance 2 have finally gone up. Through Gamestop, PS3 owners will be able to preorder the game for the listed price of $59.99. People who do preorder the game will recieve early access to the Resistance 2 public beta which according to the order sheet is set to begin in early October. Looks like Lionhead Studios have dropped the ball once again.  As if possibly not having online co-op at release wasn't bad enough for those gamers waiting for Fable 2, those who preordered the Collector's Edition will be sorely disappointed in finding that it has been stripped nearly bare.  Gone are the Collector's Case, the Fate Cards, and no Hobble Figure.  Lionhead blames supply chain issues on this problem, and with only weeks left before the release, it causes on to wonder how this could have happened.  They have decided to drop the price to $69. Think you have what it takes to build your own game for Xbox Live, and can do better than what is out there now?  Well now you can, as Microsoft has announced that XNA Game Studio software will be made available to gamers who yearn to create their own video games.  Micorsoft already had a trial run of the XNA Creators Club games earlier this year which featured "Little Gamers", "Culture", "Jellycar", "The Dishwasher" and others.  MS has plans to introduce the XBox Live Community Games this holiday season to XBL Marketplace. Microsoft unveiled in their plan that you will be able to have your games added to the XBL Marketplace, for a price of 200 to 800 points, after passing a peer review, as well as take home a cut of the total revenue the game makes, which MS claims to be up to 70% in a form of a quarterly check. Thanks to a Kotaku story, I found out Marvelous has finally announced and revealed the actual figure to be included in the Ikkitousen EF Limited Edition set for the Sony PSP.  As noted prior, it features the mother-daughter team of Hakafu and Goei.  The figure set is actually a pun referring to "Oyako donburi", which means "parent and child donburi" which is a dish made of Rice, Egg and Chicken.  But as interesting as that is, we all know everyone is more interested in the figure itself.  So here is some images of said figure:       Now we know the OBVIOUS joke of "2 Girls 1 cup" here, but it has already been used a few times over on other sites, so we will leave it be.
