Time For A Tomb Raider Reboot

Looks like it is that time again. You know the time to brush the dust off a franchise that paid off well in the past because we are running out of original ideas. Square Enix just let loose the announcement of another new Tomb Raider game. A full on game at that and not just a downloadable PSN/XBLA game. Only thing is, they are going to try and tell us all where Lara Croft came from…except it isn't the Lara we already know. Finally What Deus Ex Game Play Will Look Like

Up until now we have been given pre-rendered scenes and clips to show off Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Those clips did have some gorgeous visuals no doubt. I mean look at the studio and publisher for it, it's kind of what they are known for. But in the end, none of that did all that much to show off what we will actually get to control during the game. I also mean really control since the last "Game Play" clip was more scripted scenes than anything. BioWare Teases New Title For VGA's UPDATED 12.06

Well it looks like BioWare is at it again. According to a recent commercial spot for the Spike TV VGA's on Dec 11th, BioWare will be announcing their next big thing. What is it? Well we currently have no idea. I can tell you one thing it's not Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Why is that you ask? Redbox To Offer Video Game Rentals

You may have heard that back in July Redbox was testing the gaming market waters to see if it could pull in more revenue. Well it looks like everything has gone pretty well and Redbox will be providing the service to thousands of kiosks nationwide. The service is not available yet, but is expected to launch later this month. If you want to find the closest Kiosk to you and possible video game selection check this out. Hey true believers! It looks like our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is back into the action saving not only New York, but four different dimensions worth of New York and realities. All after a small fight with Mysterio where Spider Man shatters the "Tablet of Order and Chaos," a few of the villains in each dimension find a chunk and get super-charged. With the help of Madame Web, each Spider-Man needs to collect these tablet pieces to make sure all reality doesn't crumble. You'd think a tablet with that power wouldn't be housed in a basic museum in New York, but then we wouldn't have the story. Read More...

Dungeon Seige III Gameplay Trailer Released

What a way to kick off the Labor Day weekend! With PAX currently going on, there's going to be a lot of great stuff coming out of the convention and the first thing we get to kick off this holiday weekend is the new Dungeon Siege III Game play Trailer from Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment. I have now watched this trailer three times and I still don't know what to say. We see a warrior type character and a caster archetype showing off the hack 'n' slash style game play we've come to expect from this dungeon crawler. Nintendo Drops Portable Price For Holidays

As if Nintendo didn't already control enough of the portable console market, they wanted to really push the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL handhelds this holiday season by reducing prices. Beginning on September 12th, the Nintendo DSi will drop to $149.99 and the DSi XL will drop to $169.99. The DS Lite will continue at the $129.99 price point. As always, the marketing team over at Nintendo of America (NOA) makes a brilliant move: drop the price of the DSi and DSi XL now in September in order to sell more units for Holiday 2010. Nintendo Reminds Us They Have Games

With Gamescom 2010 getting into full swing with news and announcements, Nintendo decided they wanted to remind its consumers that they too have games coming out this fall and that you won't want to miss them. Two games in particular were given solid release dates. Kirby's Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns were big hits at E3 this year and have been generating huge buzz for their impending arrival. While I could never get close enough to play Kirby's Epic Yarn, I did have an opportunity to play with our large, simian friend. Review: Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

Last we left this extremely odd couple, they were fleeing for their life with Kane's daughter not too well off. Now, from what you have seen so far of the story, it is years later and the two seem to have become closer even over international lines. At least it seems they are closer because I know I wouldn't want to go meet up with a psychopath that moved to China unless I had a better bond than "We Broke Out Of Jail Together." In any instance, the duo is back and ready to cut a new deal to finally get Kane out of the life of crime. Only with their luck, things are just not that simple. Read More...

Now That Revolt From Deus Ex Can Be Seen

Earlier, we got to see some new screen shots for Deus Ex. Really nice shots. In fact, to me they looked like they were taken from another hi-res trailer we would be getting in the near future. Comic Con Day 2: Night Of The Living Retardababy

After having a bit of time to cool off about all of the events of the prior day, and receiving a few PR-like responses to messages about having issues with booth people, I trudged my way back to the convention space. It was truly a difficult thing to have to do after the abysmal treatment received the day before, but Friday was the day of the first big panel I needed to attend.
