Get Your Art Shown Off At E3 2011

The submission period for this year's Into The Pixel exhibit is now open and will be open until April 15th. In case you are in the dark about this, Into The Pixel is an exploration and celebration of the art of video games from around the world that is put on by The Academy of Interactive Arts&Sciences (AIAS) and the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). Every year that I have been to E3 they hold an exhibit and cocktail party to showcase the top pieces for all to see. It is quite an amazing event that lets us all feel cultured while delving deeper into geekdom.

So if you are interested in getting you work seen by all E3 goers, get cracking. You have a month to get your stuff together and get everything submitted. If you are not artistically inclined or want to see what you are up against, go on over to IntoThePixel.com and look at all the past year's submissions. I know I look forward to seeing the new stuff from this year. So you better "wow" me.

The Academy of Interactive Arts&Sciences (AIAS) and the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) opened the submission process for the Into the Pixel (ITP) 2011 exhibit.

The 2010 collection had over 200 submissions for the 20 pieces of artwork selected. Into the Pixel has toured worldwide, including appearances at E3 Expo, the Design Center in Stuttgart Germany, the European Festival of Art in Nottingham England, The Bradford Animation Festival, Creative Artists Agency, Animfx in New Zealand, the San Jose Technology Museum, The National Cable Show, E for All, the Toronto International Film Festival, SIGGRAPH Asia, the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco and at South by Southwest Interactive.
