Dying Light: The Following Looks To Expand On Kyle Crane's Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New details and pricing for Dying Light's next DLC The Following have been released and it looks like we are getting to know Dying Light's protagonist a bit more Late last month we had a look at the next big DLC for Dying Light titled the The Following. Up until Gamescom all we had were little tidbits based off screenshots and brief descriptions from Techland and nothing else. The big knowns about the next big Dying Light DLC was that it would have a map larger than anything we've played before, it was going to be story-based DLC, and that we would be getting dirt buggies to roll around the maps and mow down zombies with. That has been about it and Warner Bros. Read More…

The Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Multiplayer 'Beta' Goes Live Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
If you've pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 then you'll be glad to see that the multiplayer beta goes live next week for those PS4 owners If you've pre-order Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 already then you most likely know that the multiplayer "beta" is about to go live soon. At least it will be going live soon for the PS4 version of the game as that kicks off on August 19th as Sony obviously paid more to Activision this year to get Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 all the early stuff instead. All of the Xbox One players and PC players who pre-ordered Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 will still be helping stress test Treyarch's servers on August 26th so don't think that they are getting left out in the dark here. Everyone needs to get in on this to make sure the Black Ops 3 multiplayer runs smoothly for everyone; including the non-pre-order gamers out there. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
Episode four for Tales From The Borderlands is releasing next week and we have a few screenshots to whet the whistle for the new addition to Tales From The Borderlands The wait is over as we have a release date for the next episode of Tales From The Borderlands. Only a two month wait for this episode titled Escape Plan Bravo so it looks like Telltale Games is getting back into the swing of things and keeping us all going on their titles. Even better that it is one of their better ones to me and still encompassing around Gearbox's franchise that we are all wait to get another addition to outside of Tales From The Borderlands. Maybe we'll all luck out and Tales From The Borderlands will culminate into an official Borderlands 3 announcement using some of the cannon that is being set here. Read More…

Resident Evil 2 Is Officially Getting A Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
It has been made official as Resident Evil 2 is getting the remake treatment so even more gamers out there can experience the horror of Resident Evil 2 It looks like fans and the internet win again as Resident Evil 2 is getting a remake treatment and it won't be a fan project as we've seen spreading all over the internet. In fact this news comes right from the horse's mouth as Capcom has green-lit Resident Evil 2 Remake and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi will again be at the helm. That would be the producer behind Resident Evil HD Remaster that hit the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC not too long ago and I am pretty sure he has his hands in Resident Evil 0 Remaster as well. Look Out For The Jackal In Evolve's Hunting Season 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new hunter for Evolve has been released and is currently available for Evolve's Hunting Season 2 DLC pack The hunt continues on as Evolve's second major DLC push brings us yet another Trapper to play with in the game. This would be part of the Hunting Season 2 DLC push that Turtle Rock Studios has been working on to keep fans playing Evolve as well as trying to draw in more fans for the game. If only they would have started with a character like Jack, or Jackal, from the start I might still be playing Evolve. Although Now that I see him in action here 2K Games may be seeing my money flying back at them for this next bit of DLC. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Final Fantasy XV have been released to show off a few new locations in the game as well as the Gamescom trailer showing a "big bad" returning to Final Fantasy XV This may or may not be new Final Fantasy XV information to you depending on how closely you are following the titles and all the news and updates surrounding it. The guys from Square Enix did show off a few new bits of art, screenshots, and the trailer below showing one of the most heinous monsters to be back in Final Fantasy XV during Gamescom. This was on top of the new story bits of course but if you've been following Final Fantasy XV as closely as we have you would have known that already. Read More…

New Rise Of The Tomb Raider Demo Shows Some Tomb Raiding
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The actual demo for Rise Of The Tomb Raider on the Gamescom show floor has been released at it feels much more Tomb Raider-like than ever I am pretty sure now that Rise Of The Tomb Raider has been announced to not only be hitting the Xbox 360 and Xbox One but also the PC and PS4 that Microsoft is not going to do any justice on showing off what we can all look forward to for the game. During Gamescom they showed the world on their huge stage what Rise Of The Tomb Raider would look like on their system only to make Crystal Dynamics' work look like a Thief/Uncharted rip-off. That's how I saw it at least even though I know way better. Read More…

Look Into The Face Of Madness With New Hellblade Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A bit of new gameplay for Hellblade has made its way online in the form of B-Roll footage but it does show off a few things for Hellblade Gamescom may be over now but that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep looking for more news to come out and thus is the case for Hellblade. It looks like some of the B-Roll footage for the game that will be used for all of the "preferred media's" video spotlights for Hellblade has been "leaked" online and then officially posted by Ninja Theory to make sure we all saw this PS4 beauty showing off the elegance of madness. Remember this is what Hellblade is about to some degree as well as mixing in Celtic Mythologies and stories to give us more than a lecture on insanity. That being the other major theme for Hellblade if you know your game history here. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 8/3/15 — 8/7/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games As Gamescom comes to a warp here we too come to wrap up another week in video games. There was so much to take in for this week we didn't get a chance to cover most things that cropped up for the industry at all. We tried our damnedest to do so but we are still just a small and fierce team. When the likes of Rock Band 4, Mad Max, and Final Fantasy XV are hammering us with so much it is hard to cover all video games out there or in the works. Hells, there was also a whole lot of Metal Gear Solid V that was handed out and we were only able to cover so little on it even though it was a huge thing. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Hitman have been released out of Gamescom 2015 and we have some talk about the demo that was shown for Hitman on the show floor We may not have any new official gameplay video to show you for Hitman out of Gamescom just yet but we do have some new screenshots to show you just how dapper Agent 47 will look while clearing out hit contracts. By dapper I mean how he will look in the standard clothes that Io Interactive will be giving him for when we all dive back into the Hitman on December 8th on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. While there may not be any crazy costumes on 47 just yet at least we can get a real good look at how Hitman is shaping up in the visuals department as of Gamescom here. Read More…

Homefront: The Revolution Lives On & We Have More Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
At Gamescom 2015 Homefront: The Revolution made its first major showing since E3 2014 and it looks like Homefront is in the right hands still The last major update we had for Homefront: The Revolution was that it was being delayed until spring of 2016 and that was after almost a whole year of silence while it was being developed on. This could have been because the developer changed over to Dambuster Studios in the madness going on around Homefront at the time but still that was the last we heard. I though it a good thing but many others thought that it spelled out that Deep Silver may have been canceling Homefront: The Revolution and it would never see our PS4, Xbox One, or PC at all. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Those hoping for space dogfights in Star Wars Battlefront can hope no more as Fighter Squadron mode has been shown off for Star Wars Battlefront at Gamescom 2015 As if Star Wars Battlefront wouldn't have aerial combat in the game… Although up until now we have yet to see the mode in action but we can all rest easy now as DICE has shown off the new Fighter Squadron mode for Star Wars Battlefront at Gamescom and it gives us just what we all want. Now we just have to sit back and wait for November 17th for Star Wars Battlefront to come to our PS4, Xbox One, or PC right from EA. That wait won't be anything short of excruciating right?
