Well, another outing in 2022 with the announcement that Bloober Team is working on another title in the line. Another title that could take us down some familiar paths from the previous Layers Of Fear titles or into some new territory. It is hard to tell at this point as we have very little to go on for the game at this point. Read More...

More Of The Music Will Flow With Wavelengths In Life Is Strange: True Colors
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of August 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange A prequel DLC for Life Is Strange: True Colors is on the way with more of the elements Life Is Strange is known for Life Is Strange: True Colors is still yet to come out there, September 10th is still the date, yet here we are talking about the DLC that will be hitting us all on September 30th to further expand the story. The story before this new one from Deck Nine Games at that. This is nothing new for the Life Is Strange IP, but it is a little weird to get a prequel bit for a game that comes out just a few weeks before it all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of August 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Wreckfest The latest update for Wreckfest will be mixing in some fun elements from Carmageddon into Wreckfest Some of us out there may have been able to pick up Wreckfest recently with a previous wave of free titles out there. Some of us may have also picked the game up a while back and been enjoying what Bugbear cobbled together for us for a while now. No matter the case, it looks like the next update we have here for Wreckfest will be offering up fans of this one and another title a whole bunch more to experience in the mix. Life Is Strange A new breakdown of Life Is Strange: True Colors is here to give us a better understanding of the new powers coming to this Life Is Strange story One of the other titles out there that felt like it was getting some solid presence during the digital E3 this year had to be Life Is Strange: True Colors. It had its own little highlight during the Square Enix event and then Deck Nine Games had the announcement that it was going to be hitting the Switch when it launches out there on September 10th for all of the other platforms too. All alongside the announcement that the Life Is Strange remaster would be doing the same too. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/17/21 — 5/21/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of May 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with the wrap-up once again for all of the video games we had to look at here for the week. There was a lot and a whole lot of the same things here this week with Biomutant, Of Bird And Cage and Ratchet & Clank taking over the bigger portions of it all here. There is nothing wrong with that at all, but those were the bigger video games that we had updated and with all of the reviews out there for now. Some are just about to launch out there too, so it all makes sense to have the massive push of it all for now. Read More...

Review — Layers Of Fear VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of May 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We sit down and review Layers Of Fear VR. The creepy walking-sim is back in the virtual space again. Here is our review of Layers Of Fear VR It seems like so long ago that we had the original Layers Of Fear made a splash and offer us all a new way to go about some of the horrors out there. It was not the bigger title that did all of this, but it was a smash hit and delight to see what Bloober Team was trying to do with the genre and ways to offer up horror to the gaming fans. Then we cut forward a few years and after the big VR crazy hit, and now we have Layers Of Fear VR. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Here we go with a wrapping of another slow week in the realm of video games here. Slow in the way of not the biggest of news flowing out there but there was still something to highlight and talk about. Even if it was about the new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or the new platforms for Layers Of Fear 2. We did get to end it all with some new gameplay for Biomutant and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart among some various other updates for some smaller video games as well. Read More...

Layers Of Fear 2 Is Dropping Onto The Switch Here Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of May 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear Get ready to take Layers Of Fear on the move again with Layers Of Fear 2 hitting the Switch in just about a week from now It may have taken a little bit of time, but it does look like the Switch will soon be able to hop in on the horrors of Layers Of Fear 2 here. Not the biggest of issues as it did hit fairly hard when Bloober Team dropped it out there before and on May 20th you will be able to add it to the growing list of titles on the new platform to enjoy. Hopefully, this will help them to bring us all another entry into the Layers Of Fear line or maybe for the game to hit us in other ways as we have seen the original do over the years. That is always the hope when it comes to titles that do feel like they add into the industry and do not go with the normal flow of it all and just one more title to play and toss aside. Read More...

Life Is Strange: True Colors Asks Us All To Get To Know Ryan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of May 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange One more character is shown off for Life Is Strange: True Colors to show us how romance will play into Life Is Strange again We have met the protagonist and a bit of their family for Life Is Strange: True Colors, but now it is time to start filling out the rest of the cast we will get to experience in the game. I have a feeling this list could potentially get massive over time as Deck Nine Games usually dives into all of that fairly deep to give us a well-written story in the mix. You can look at all of the past titles for Life Is Strange to ensure you know that is what you will be getting into. Read More...

Layers Of Fear VR Is Out To Haunt The Living On The PSVR Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear The launch for Layers Of Fear VR is upon us for the PSVR and more of us can experience this new Layers Of Fear form to drive us all mad The IP that caused so many nightmares before is finally back one more time with Layers Of Fear VR hitting the wilds out there on the PSVR. If you thought you could not handle what the game had to throw at you before, then get ready for Bloober Team to make you need to change your underpants a few times with this game. Those that may have played Layers Of Fear might remember some of those scares, but now we will have the chance to immerse ourselves further into it all and possibly give ourselves all of the nightmares that our protagonist had before going into it all. All as we try to paint the final masterpiece one more time while using the PS Move controllers and try to set the physical and musty mood in our own homes. Read More...
