Even with such little time before Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition hits the PS4 and PC, it looks like the rumors and such keep on rolling. One would think that Capcom would have had all the details out there for the game by now as January 16th is so close, but there may have been a few things hidden or just not ready to launch on that date. At least if the recent data mining for this version of Street Fighter V has anything to say about it. It looks like there may be a few new modes hidden within and a whole lot of stages we can fight on from the franchise's past; that is as long as noted data miner X-Kira has anything to say about it all.
As you can see below, it looks like Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition may house a mode called "Boss Rush" that could allow us to battler Cinematic Story NPCs in "the Ring Of Destiny." Characters such as Shadaloo Soldiers, Shadaloo Dolls Enero, Fevrier, Marz, Aprile, Satsuki, Juli, Santamu, Decapre, and Phantom Bison to name some. Of course, you can see the fights go down in the following video, but as this is still not confirmed by the developer, it is still in the rumor section and the like.
There is also word that about twenty new areas will be available for Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition either at launch or within the following months. These areas range throughout the franchise's history and others. Have a look at it all below and see what could potentially be coming to SFV: AE if X-Kira is completely correct as in the past. It could also be bringing an Edition Select option that would let you use previous versions of every character and pit them against others as well. I am not sure why one would want to do that, but it is what it is for now.
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition — Boss Rush & Version Select
On Boss Rush mode I only showed the DEV version in this way, but there is already a complete version and finished, maybe in some time I decide to show it deeper, in this mode you challenge the Gangs. "Shadalooo, Illuminati, S.I.N and Neo-Shadaloo" and there is also another script that controls only the good guys, but this script is incomplete and it crashes constantly.
