Activision and FreeStyleGames has released the first set of tracks coming to Guitar Hero Live and it's not all to surprising So we've seen the idea behind Guitar Hero Live and what Activision and FreeStyleGames has in the pipeline for us but we all really want to know which rock stars we are going to be pretending to be in the virtual world. Yes the announcement event did give us a couple but we know that there is supposed to be a huge catalog of licenses artists and songs for us to play through. Good news here though as it looks like we can expect updated for Guitar Hero Live track list on a weekly basis and the first 24 artists/songs have been released for us to look at and question. Wow that was kind of a lame way to start out with but at least we have a whole lot of awesome video game new and updates for you to make up for it. A new Augmented Reality Game, Night Terrors, is trying to raise funds to try and bring real but fake terror into our homes Earlier this week we had the devastation that Silent Hills was canceled so let's get back on a horror highlight with Night Terrors. This would be an augmented reality game that is looking to hit the levels of terror that the prior title mentioned was claiming as well. The big kicker here is that Night Terrors won't be using virtual world interactions to bring the terror. Telltale Games has announced that they will be teaming up with Marvel for a game series in 2017 Time for the internet to explode as Telltale Games is teaming up with Marvel to bring us all a game series based on something based in their universe. That being Marvel's universe and not Telltale's The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, or Minecraft universes that they are currently working on. There is now clue yet as to what could be in the works between the two but given the history of Marvel and Telltale we can hopefully expect greatness. Activision and FreeStyleGames have released the entire Guitar Hero Live press announcement for all of our viewing pleasure Did you feel like there should have been more to the Guitar Hero Live announcement earlier this week? I know I should felt like there should have been a bit more. Especially since some of the other "buy-able" outlets were already talking about their impressions on having played with the new guitar controller for the game. We have a new gameplay trailer for Blood Bowl 2 and it shows how the Chaos All-Stars could play a game of football… Until now I have not been completely sold on Blood Bowl 2. It just looked like one of those games that were really targeted toward a very small subgroup of gamers. Most likely not the truth but that is how it has come across to me since the game was first announced by Focus Home. Now we have a new trailer out for Blood Bowl 2 and either they broadened the subgroup a bit or there is just something now that has caught my attention. Following yesterday's tease, Activision and FreeStyleGames have announced Guitar Hero Live to be the next reboot to the popular franchise Hot off the tease from yesterday we now officially have Guitar Hero Live and it is looking to reboot the franchise with some new features and a new peripheral for the game. We'll dig into all of that in a moment but here we have it; Guitar Hero Live is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Android, and iOS platforms sometime later this year. My money would be on late October or early November to compete with Rock Band 4 as well as get all of those holiday sales a little bit early. Read More...

New details for Dissidia Final Fantasy's arcade game have come out that shows it may come to PS4 sooner or later Goodish news for those looking to be able to play Dissidia Final Fantasy but don't have all of the funds to own a huge arcade machine in house. I say goodish because this hasn't been completely confirmed as of yet but the chances of Dissidia Final Fantasy hitting the PS4 seem considerably more likely after the most recent "Closed Conference" that Square Enix put on. Mortal Kombat X mobile is available now for all of us to unlock our cool extra skins a bit before Mortal Kombat X proper is released It is less than a week now until Mortal Kombat X will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC but there is a way for all of us to play a version of it free as of right now. While it was thought that Mortal Kombat X Mobile was going to release sometime after the full version of the game it looks like NetherRealm has given it to us early.
